Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be producedina hotwatersystemthat hasnotbeenused
fortwo weeksor more.Hydrogengas is explosive. If the hot watersystem has not been usedfor such a period,turnon all hot waterfaucets and let thewater
flowfromeachforseveralminutes.Thiswillreleaseany accumulatedhydrogengas.Asthegasisflammable,do notsmokeor useanopenflameduringthis process.
Do not washplasticitemsunlessmarked"dishwasher safe"ortheequivalent.Forplasticitemsnotsomarked, checkthe manufacturer'srecommendations.
