1. Disconnect the power to the unit.

2. Open the oven door and remove the two 1/4 hex screws securing the main top.

3. Lift the main top up slightly and slide forward. Disconnect the wire harness located at the
rear or the unit and remove the main top.

4. Remove the limit switch, bracket, and disconnect the wiring going to the limit switch located
on the right front burner.

5. Remove the jumper wire between the limit switch and the right front element and discard.

6. Attach the red wire coming from the #3 pin of the molex connector to the element in the
same place the jumper came from.

7. Remove the door lock assembly. The assembly is secured by two screws in the front and
one from below. The screw can be removed from inside the oven cavity.

8. Remove the insulation piece under the lock assembly and discard.

9. Place the new lock assembly on the super wool insulation. The foil side will be facing
down. The lock is secured properly when the tab of the lock assembly comes

through the slit in the insulation.

10. Install the lock and insulation. The foil side must go under the main insulation wrap all

the way around. Failure to do this will cause heat to escape.

11. Remove the left and right side burner boxes. They are held in place by three screws

on each side. Remove the four screws along the front of the unit.
