MXR0024 TV Aerial - 18 Element
Connecting Coaxial Cable (Not supplied)

Using a shar p knife prepare the Coa xial Cabl e as shown.
Loosen th e screws on the 2 t erminals i n the Dipole. F eed the inn er core to one of the terminal s and the tw isted brai d into the oth er. Tighten sc rews and clo se Dipole C ap.

Turn on your T V set. Refer to ma nufact urers inst ructio ns to tune you r TV into the availabl e digital/H D/3D channels. Select a tuned-in channel. Next, carry out the following procedures:
1. Turn your aeri al to the LEF T until you los e the picture (if alone t urn the vol ume up and tu rn until you hear a reduction in sound quality).
2. Remembe r this posit ion and tur n your aerial to the RIGH T until you lose the pic ture/sound ag ain.
3. Now point th e aerial in the centre of the se two points and you w ill receive op timum recep tion.
Digital & H D reception:
Reception of d igital terrestria l TV (DTT) sig nals is subject to:
1. Use with a DTT se t top box or inte grated T V with digit al tuner/receiver
2. Satisfa ctory si gnal qual ity from DT T transmitter
To receive terres trial HD ch annels you w ill requi re the follow ing:
1. An HD ready T V
2. Freeview HD re ceiver or TV with integ rated Freev iew HD tuner/receive r
3. HD signals m ust be transmitte d in your loc al area. Visi t www.freev iew.co.uk for more informat ion.

Tip: Look at o utdoor aerials in your area to s ee which directi on to point yo ur aerial for best reception.

Vertical mounting recommended for Relay TV transmitters.
Horizontal mounting recommended for Main TV transmitters.

Join the 2 pi eces of boom t ogether us ing the joining p late, M5 x 25mm sc rews M5 nuts and 5mm Shake Proo f Washers.

Assembly
Screw the Di pole firm ly to the Boom .
Fit the sup port ar m to boom of the a erial usin g the four joining pla tes. Secu re with nuts a nd bolts.

Slide on an d firmly pus h down the Refl ector onto the groove of the Reflector Bung.
5.
Attach ae rial to suit able mast (not i ncluded) using the su pplied Mast Clamp.
