PARABOLIC DISH ANTENNA
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE:
1. Remove the four (4) #10 cap screws, and lock and the flat washers from the hardware bag. Position the feed tube as shown in the illustration, aligning the polarization pin with the hole in the dish. Insert the cable through the hole and install the screws with the 5/32 hex key and tighten.
2. Remove the two (2) "U" bolts 3/8-16 x 2 ½" pipe and "V" blocks, four (4) 3/8" hex nuts and flat washers from the hardware bag. Position the dish assembly to the mast as shown in the side view. Install the upper "U" bolt first, then install the lower "U" bolt and tighten.
3. Connect a coax to the "N" bulkhead and wrap the joint with weather seal Butyl rubber.
4. Adjust the angle, loosen six (6) 7/16" hex head machine screws at each pivot point, (shown in side view) and screw turnbuckles in or out until the desired position is obtained.
5. After the dish is aligned, make sure that the 7/16" hex head machine screws are securely tightened.
6. The dish is shipped set up for vertical polarization. A decal indicating vertical polarization is provided on the rear of the star mounting plate.
7. Horizontal polarization is obtained by removing the "U" bolts and rotating 90° clockwise (viewed from the rear of the dish). The plugged drain holes will now be on the bottom. Remove the plugs and place them in the drain holes that are now on the side.
Note: it is important to keep the drain holes on the bottom open.
