Maxim Hi-Wheel Plow

This plow is intended for cultivated soil.

Assembly Instructions

1. Remove all pieces from box and seperate bolts according to size.

2. Locate the 5/16” x 6” Hex Bolt (400212, Ref 11). Place one Flat Washer (455041, Ref 8) on the bolt and insert it through one of
the handles (360410, Ref 1). Next, place one of the Plow Support Braces (360413, Ref 4) on the bolt, followed by the Axle Spacer
(360418, Ref 5).

3. Place the other Plow Support Brace (360413, Ref 4), the other handle, Flat Washer (455041, Ref 8), followed by the 5/16” lock
washer (446136, Ref 9), and  nally the 5/16” Hex Nut (443106, Ref 10)

4. Locate one of the 5/16” x 1 3/4” Hex Bolts (400208, Ref 7). Place a 5/16”  at washer on the bolt, then thread it through the
handle. Place the Right Hand Lower Plow Brace (360412-R, Ref 3-A) on the bolt, followed by a 5/16” hex lock washer and hex nut.

5. Locate another 5/16” x 1 3/4” bolt. Place a Flat Washer on it, then thread the bot through the Left Handle. Place the Left Hand
Lower Plow Support on the bolt. Secure it with a lock washer and a nut.

6. With 5/16” x 1” Hex Bolt (400186. Ref 12), connect the Lower Support Braces to the outside of the Plow Support Brace. Secure
with lock washer and hex nut.

7. Secure cross brace by threading a  at washer on the 5/16” x 1 3/4” bolt and inserting it through the handle and the screw hole of the
support brace. Fasten with a lock washer and nut. Repeat for the left handle.

8. Insert a 5/16” x 1” Hex bolt through each of the remaining holes on the RH Lower Plow Support. Add a 5/16” x 3/8” x .280 Spacer
to each bolt, then insert them through the holes in the LH Lower Plow Support. Secure with lock washer and nut.

9. To attach the Turn Shovel (360416, Ref 15), 5-Finger Cultivator (360417, Ref 16), or the Double Pointed Shovel (360415, Ref 17),
insert 5/16” x 1 1/4” bolt through hole in the implement, then the opening between the spacers in the lower brace. Secure with a  at
washer, a lock washer, and the 5/16” nut.
