Congratulations on the purchase of your Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

Safety, comfort and user friendliness have played an important role in the development
of the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX. This product meets the most stringent safety regulations.

Research shows that a high number of pushchairs are incorrectly installed. Therefore, please take the time to
read through the instruction manual carefully.
The Maxi-Cosi Citi CX offers maximum safety only when it is used in accordance with the instructions.

Continuous research by our development team, user tests and consumer reactions ensure that we are kept fully
up to date in the field of child safety. If you have any questions concerning the use of your Maxi-Cosi Citi CX,
please do not hesitate to contact us.

IMPORTANT: Read first!

• WARNING: Read the instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference. Not following the instructions
in this manual may endanger the safety of your child.

• WARNING: Your child’s safety is your responsibility.

• WARNING: Never leave your child unattended in a pushchair.

• WARNING: Prior to use, check to ensure all interlocking devices are secured.

• WARNING: Articles hung on the handle bar may cause the pushchair to become unstable and can increase the
risk of tipping.

• WARNING: Always secure your child with the safety harness and always use the crotch strap together with the
lap and shoulder belts, even when using the footmuff.

• WARNING: To ensure your child’s safety, we advise against skating or running with the pushchair.

• WARNING: Check that the pram body or seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged.

General Instructions

• Only use the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX for one child at a time.

• The Maxi-Cosi Citi CX is suitable for children from birth to 4 years of age (maximum weight 20 kg). When used
with a Maxi-Cosi car safety seat or Dreami carry cot, the maximum weight shown on the car safety seat or carry
cot applies.

• It is advisable to only use the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX as a buggy once your child is able to sit unassisted.

• We advise against using the pushchair insert for children younger than 6 months old.

• Always make sure that the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX is completely unfolded and that the safety locks are properly
secured before placing your child in the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

• Keep children away from moving parts while folding, unfolding or adjusting the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

• Always use the parking brake when parking the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX, even when just standing still.

• Inspect and clean the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX regularly. Never use harsh cleaning agents or lubricants.

• Never lift the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX or use on escalator or stairs when there is a child in the pushchair.

• Use original accessories and manufacturer-approved parts only.

• No alterations may be made to the product. If you have any complaints or problems, please contact your
supplier or importer.

• Keep all plastic packaging material out of the reach of children and pets, as these materials pose a choking
hazard.

• The Maxi-Cosi Citi CX has been approved in accordance with: NFS 54-001, prEN 1888:2002, BS 7409:1996.

Unfolding the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (A1-A3)

• Pull both handlebar safety locks at the same time in the direction of the handle and pull the handles upwards
(A1).

• The handlebars are locked into the operating position when you hear a "click" (A2).

• Check to make sure the handlebars are secured properly.

• To lock the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX, move the tensioning handle forward until it is covers the area marked with a red
sticker (A3).

• The footrest should now be completely unfolded (horizontal).

Folding the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (B1-B3)

• Before folding the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX, release the brake and place the backrest of the seat in an upright position.

• First push the tensioning handle downward (B1) and then in one move pull it back in (see the arrow on
illustration).

• Pull both handlebar safety locks upwards at the same time (B2) and then push the handlebars downwards (B3).

• The handlebars are locked into the transport position when you hear a "click".

• Check this.

• You can lift the folded Maxi-Cosi Citi CX of using the carrying handle at the front.

The brake (C1)

ALWAYS USE THE BRAKE WHEN PARKING THE MAXI-COSI CITI CX, ALSO WHEN AT A STANDSTILL!

• Push down on the red brake pedal on the righthand rear wheel to lock both rear wheels simultaneously (C1-1).
They are now in the parked position. ALWAYS CHECK WHETHER THE WHEELS ARE LOCKED.

• Release the brake by pushing down on the lefthand pedal (C1-2).

Operating the swivelling wheels (D1)

The swivelling wheels on the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX can be locked if you find it easier to push the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX
with locked wheels on a particular type of surface.

• Press down the pedal to lock the swivelling wheels (D1-1). The wheels will automatically be locked once you
start moving forward.

• Lift the pedal upward to release the swivelling wheels (D1-1).

For use with the Dreami (up to 9 kg) and the Maxi-Cosi (for children up to 13 kg) (K1-K2)

• The pushchair seat must be removed (see instructions for removing pushchair seat) and the adapters supplied
must be attached for use with the Dreami and Maxi-Cosi.

Attaching the adapters (E1)

• Stand behind the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

• Place the adapter with LH on the lefthand side of the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

• Place the flat side of the adapter on the spring-loaded button (E1-1). Press the button with the adapter whilst at
the same time pushing the adapter downward until you hear a click (E1-2). The spring-loaded button will now
pop out of the opening in the adapter.

• Repeat this on the righthand side of the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

• Check whether both adapters are firmly secured.

Placing the Dreami on the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (F1)

• Unfold the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX and check whether it is properly locked, making sure that the adapters are well
secured.

• Place the Dreami on the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX adapters with the foot end between the handlebars (F1).

The adapters will drop into the adapter openings underneath the Dreami. You should hear a click on both sides

upon fitting.

• Check whether the Dreami is secured properly by lifting the Dreami up by the handles.

Removing the Dreami from the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (F2)

• Hold on to the handles on both sides of the Dreami and place your thumbs on the control buttons to fasten it
on to the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (F2-1).

• Press the buttons and lift the Dreami off the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (F2-2).

Placing the Maxi-Cosi on the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (G1)

• Unfold the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX and check whether it is properly locked, making sure that the adapters are well
secured.

• Place the Maxi-Cosi on the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX adapters with the foot end between the handlebars. You should
hear a click on both sides upon fitting (G1).

• Check whether the Maxi-Cosi is properly secured by lifting the Maxi-Cosi up using the carrying handle.

Removing the Maxi-Cosi from the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (G2)

• Stand at the head of the Maxi-Cosi, hold the Maxi-Cosi on both sides, press the two control buttons
simultaneously (G2-1) and lift the Maxi-Cosi off the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (G2-2).

Removing the adapters (H1)

• Remove the adapter by pressing the spring-loaded button (H1-1) and at the same time sliding the adapter upwards
(H2-2).

• Repeat this for the other adapter.

Placing the pushchair seat on the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (I1-I2)

IMPORTANT!!! The seat can only be placed on a partially folded/unfolded Maxi-Cosi Citi CX, which means

that the tensioning handle should not be used at this point.

• Fold the pushchair seat in half (backrest against the seat).

• Stand at the front of the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (swivelling wheels) and slide the plastic strips onto the rails under
the seat until you hear a click on both sides (I1).

• Unfold the backrest.

• Place the bottom of the adapter (pushchair seat) onto the spring-loaded button (I2-1). Press the spring-loaded
button whilst at the same time sliding the adapter downwards until you hear a click. See instructions for
attaching the adapter (E1).

• Repeat this on the other side.

• Next, unfold the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX completely and use the tensioning handle.

Footrest Adjuster (J1)

• You can adjust the foot rest in 2 different positions to suit the length of your child's legs (J1).

• Release both foot rest adjusters (J1-1). Higher or lower the footrest as required (J1-2) and re-lock the footrest
adjusters.

• Attention: you will also need to adjust the length of the footrest adjuster strap when adjusting the footrest (J1-3).

• When using the lowest footrest position, the strap must be used full length (use the top and bottom press studs).

• With the highest foot rest position, the strap should be at its shortest length (use the push buttons on the
bottom and in the middle).

Important!! If you do not adjust the strap to the correct length, the footrest will no longer fold up automatically.

Instructions for use

Removing the pushchair seat (K1-K2)

• Release the pushchair seat adapters by pressing the spring-loaded button (K1-1) and at the same time pushing
the adapter upwards (K1-2). Do this on both sides.

• Fold the back of the pushchair seat forward. Push the spring-loaded buttons on both sides (K2-1) and slide the
pushchair seat forward off the rails (K2-2).

When Used as a pushchair (L1-L4)

Safety Harness

• Apply the brake on the Maxi Cosi Citi CX (see Using the parking brake).

• Make sure the safety harness is loosened before placing your child (carefully!) into the seat.

• Slide the buckle sections together (L1-1) and fasten the lap and shoulder belts into the crotch strap by clicking
the buckle sections into the fastener (L1-2).

• Adjust the belts to the size of your child by lengthening or shortening the belts using the clasps (L2).

• Push the buttons to open the fastener (L3).

• There are D rings for securing an additional safety harness. Make sure the safety harness complies with all
safety standards (i.e. BS 6684) before using it.

• IMPORTANT: The press studs on the side of the seat are for attaching a footmuff only (L4).

WARNING: ALWAYS USE THE CROTCH STRAP IN COMBINATION WITH THE LAP AND SHOULDER BELTS.

Backrest adjuster (M1)

The backrest of the pushchair seat can be adjusted into four different positions using the adjusters on both sides
of the backrest.

• From a sitting to a lying position
Press both buttons on the backrest adjusters (M1-1) whilst at the same time moving the backrest backwards.
We advise you to move the back carefully if your child is seated in the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

• From a lying to a sitting position
Push against the top of the backrest of the pushchair seat. The seat will lock automatically (M1-2).
Make sure that the backrest adjusters on the right and lefthand side are in the same position.

Adjusting the pushchair leg rest (N1)

The leg rest on the pushchair can be adjusted into 2 different positions.

• Smaller children for whom the seat is still too long sit with their legs stretched out, so the leg rest should be in
the higher position. The lower position can be used once they have grown.

• The leg rest will automatically click into the highest position when being moved upward (N1-1).

• To adjust the leg rest to the lower position, press both handles underneath simultaneously and push the leg
rest downward (N1-2).

Sun canopy (O1-O2)

• To attach the sun canopy, push both ends of the sun canopy into the openings on the adapters on the pushchair seat
(O1).

Maintenance

• Check whether everything functions properly on a regular basis.

• If the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX has been damaged (i.e. in-flight , transport damage), have the product checked/repaired
by your supplier before using it again.

• Clean the frame using a damp cloth. Do not use any abrasive detergents.

• Do not use lubricants, as these attract dirt and dust.

• Clean the shoppingbasket using a damp cloth; it cannot be removed.

• The covering may be washed by hand in lukewarm water.

• Use a soft detergent. Attention! Do not place the covering in the washing machine! (see washing label).

Removing the cover before washing (P1)

• First, remove the pushchair seat from the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX. (see the instructions for removing the pushchair seat).

• Loosen the six press studs on the covering (P1) and then pull the safety harness through the slots in the cover.

• Remove the pushchair seat cover.

• To re-fit the cover, simply follow the instructions in reverse order.

Accessories

• Original accessories are available for the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX, including a rain cover, footmuff and carrycot (Dreami).
The use of non-original accessories can have an adverse affect on the working of the Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

Dorel Netherlands guarantees that this product complies with all safety requirements as specified in the current
European safety standard EN 1888 / 2003, and that this product is free from defects in workmanship and
material at the time of purchase. If this product shows material and/or workmanship defects after purchase and
during the warranty period (with normal use as described in the instruction manual), Dorel Netherlands will
assume the responsibility to repair or replace it. The warranty period is 24 months for the metal frame and 12
months for fabric components and other parts subject to wear, such as tyres, wheel bearings, and so forth.
Normal wear and tear that can be expected with daily use of the product is therefore hereby excluded.

The warranty does not apply in the following circumstances:

- The product is not supplied to the manufacturer together with the original sales receipt.

- The defect is the result of incorrect or negligent use, or maintenance that is contrary to the instructions given in
the manual.

- Repairs have been carried out by third parties.

- There is discolouration, damage to the fabric or watermarks due to washing or rainwater and excessive
exposure to sunlight (UV).

- The defect is the result of negligence or damage to the fabric or frame due to a blow to the pushchair.

- The defect is the result of an accident or airplane travel.

- The defect is the result of overloading (exceeding the maximum weight allowance for the child and any items
being carried).

- The defect is the result of using a standing board or seat for a 2nd child.

- There is normal wear and tear to the wheels, tyres and/or fabric (such as a flat tyre and/or loose press stud).

- The product has been involved in a "collision" with a sidewalk kerb or heavy shop door, as this could cause the
wheels and/or axles to be thrown out of alignment or bent, as a result of which the pushchair will not track well.

- Damage to surfaces, such as plastic laminate floors, due to tire marks.

- The stated warranty terms and conditions have not been satisfied.

Warranty

Date of effect:

- The warranty period goes into effect as of the date of purchase of the product.

Warranty term:

- The warranty on the frame is valid for a period of 24 consecutive months. A term of 12 consecutive months
applies to the fabric components and other parts susceptible to wear and tear. The warranty applies solely to
the original owner and is non-transferable.

If you discover a defect:

- In the event of a defect, contact your retailer. If your retailer is unable to assist you, he will return the product to
the manufacturer together with a description of the complaint and the original, dated sales receipt. Products
that are returned directly to the manufacturer will NOT be eligible for the warranty.

Fabric components and other parts subject to wear:

- The cover should be cared for properly (see the instruction manual for care instructions). It is normal for fabric
to discolour from sunlight and to show wear and tear after a long period of use, even when used normally. The
warranty period for the cover and other parts subject to wear, such as the tyres, is therefore limited to a period
of no more than 12 months as of the date of purchase.

This Warranty Clause conforms to European Directive 99/44/EG of 25 May 1999.

Instructions générales

• Ne transportez jamais plus d’un enfant à la fois dans la Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

• La Maxi-Cosi Citi CX convient pour les enfants à partir de la naissance et jusqu’à l’âge de 4 ans (poids
maximum 20 kg). Si vous l’utilisez en combinaison avec un siège-auto Maxi-Cosi ou une nacelle Dreami, le
poids maximum indiqué sur ceux-ci est celui qui s’applique.

• Nous vous conseillons de n’utiliser la Maxi-Cosi Citi CX comme buggy que lorsque votre enfant peut se tenir
assis tout seul.

• Nous vous déconseillons d’utiliser le hamac pour les enfants de moins de 6 mois.

• Assurez-vous toujours que la Maxi-Cosi Citi CX est complètement dépliée et que le verrouillage de sécurité est
correctement enclenché avant d’y installer votre enfant.

• Tenez les enfants éloignés des parties mobiles lorsque vous pliez, dépliez ou réglez la Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

• Utilisez toujours le frein de stationnement lorsque vous arrêtez la Maxi-Cosi Citi CX, même pour un arrêt minute.

• Vérifiez et nettoyez régulièrement votre Maxi-Cosi Citi CX. N’employez jamais de produits de nettoyage abrasifs
ni de lubrifiants.

• Tenez hors de portée des enfants et des animaux tout emballage en plastique pour éviter tout accident.
La Maxi-Cosi Citi CX est conforme aux normes : NFS 54-001, prEN 1888 :2002, BS 7409 :1996.

Dépliage du Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (A1-A3)

• Tirez simultanément les deux verrouillages du guidon vers la poignée et tirez les quidons vers le haut (A1).

• Lorsque les guidons sont bloqués en position de marche, vous entendrez un clic (A2).

• Vérifiez que les guidons sont bien fixés.

• Pour verrouiller le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX, vous devez actionner la manette de tension vers l’avant, jusqu’au-dessus
de la marque rouge (A3).

• Le repose-pieds doit être totalement déplié (horizontal).

Pliage du Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (B1-B3)

• Avant de plier le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX, débloquez le frein et mettez le dossier de la poussette en position verticale.

• Poussez la manette de tension vers le bas (B1) puis tirez-la vers l’arrière (voir flèche dessin).

• Tirez simultanément les deux verrouillages du guidon vers le haut (B2) puis poussez les guidons vers le bas (B3).

• Lorsque les guidons sont verrouillés en position de transport, vous entendrez un clic.

• Vérifiez que c’est bien le cas.

• Vous pouvez porter le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX replié par la poignée de transport avant.

Le frein (C1)

UTILISEZ TOUJOURS LE FREIN LORSQUE VOUS GAREZ LE MAXI-COSI CITI CX, MEME POUR
UNE COURTE HALTE.

• En appuyant sur la pédale rouge de frein sur la roue arrière droite, vous bloquez les deux roues arrières
simultanément (C1-1). CONTROLEZ TOUJOURS QUE LES ROUES SONT BLOQUEES. Elles sont alors en
position d’arrêt.

• Le frein se débloque lorsque vous appuyez sur la pédale de gauche (C1-2).

Maniement des roues pivotantes (D1)

• Les roues pivotantes du Maxi-Cosi Citi CX peuvent se fixer facilement, car selon le terrain, il est parfois plus
agréable de rouler avec des roues fixes.

• Pour fixer les roues pivotantes, appuyez sur la pédale (D1-1). Ensuite, lorsque vous poussez le Maxi-Cosi Citi
CX, les roues pivotantes se bloquent automatiquement dans l’axe avant-arrière.

• Pour débloquer à nouveau les roues pivotantes, tirez la pédale vers le haut. (D1-1)

Utilisation avec le Dreami (pour les enfants jusqu’à 9 kg) et le Maxi-Cosi (jusqu’à 13 kg) (K1-K2)

• Pour une utilisation avec le Dreami et le Maxi-Cosi, retirez le siège poussette (voir démontage du siège
poussette) et fixez les adaptateurs fournis avec l’ensemble.

Montage des adaptateurs (E1)

• Placez-vous derrière le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

• Disposez l’adaptateur avec LH sur le côté gauche du Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

• Placez la face plate du dessous de l’adaptateur sur le bouton ressort (E1-1). Enfoncez ce bouton avec
l’adaptateur et glissez simultanément l’adaptateur vers le bas jusqu’à entendre un clic (E1-2). Le bouton ressort
doit alors dépasser de l’orifice de l’adaptateur.

• Répétez la même opération pour le côté droit du Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

• Contrôlez que les deux adaptateurs sont correctement fixés.

Placer le Dreami sur le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (F1)

• Dépliez le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX, contrôlez qu’il est bien verrouillé et que les adaptateurs sont correctement fixés.

• Placez le Dreami, côté pieds entre les poignées, sur les adaptateurs du Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (F1). Les adaptateurs
s’enclenchent dans les ouvertures prévues à cet effet sous le Dreami. Vous devez entendre un clic de chaque côté.

• Contrôlez, en le soulevant par les poignées, que le Dreami est correctement fixé.

Retirer le Dreami du Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (F2)

• Utilisez les poignées de chaque côté du Dreami et placez vos pouces sur les boutons de fixation sur le Dreami
(F2-1).

• Enfoncez ces boutons et soulevez le Dreami du Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (F2-2).

Placer le Maxi-Cosi sur le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (G1)

• Dépliez le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX et contrôlez qu’il est bien verrouillé et que les adaptateurs sont correctement fixés.

• Placez le Maxi-Cosi, côté pieds entre les poignées, sur les adaptateurs du Maxi-Cosi Citi CX. Vous devez
entendre un clic de chaque côté lorsque les deux parties s’enclenchent (G1).

• Contrôlez, en le soulevant par la poignée, que le Maxi-Cosi est correctement fixé.

Retirer le Maxi-Cosi du Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (G2)

• Placez-vous à la tête du Maxi-Cosi, saisissez les deux côtés, enfoncez les deux boutons de fixation
simultanément (G2-1) et soulevez le Maxi-Cosi du Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (G2-2).

Démonter les adaptateurs (H1)

• Démontez l’adaptateur en enfonçant le bouton ressort (H1-1) et en faisant glisser simultanément l’adaptateur
vers le haut (H2-2).

• Répétez cette opération pour l’autre adaptateur.

Placer le siège poussette sur le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (I1-I2)

ATTENTION!!! Ceci n’est possible que lorsque le Maxi-Cosi est à moitié plié ou déplié, donc n’utilisez pas la
manette de tension à ce stade.

• Prenez le siège poussette et pliez-le en deux en rabattant le dossier sur le siège.

• Placez-vous devant le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX (côté roues pivotantes) et faites glisser dans les rails les bandes
plastique situées sous le siège, jusqu’à entendre un clic de chaque côté (I1).

• Dépliez le dossier vers le haut.

• Placez la partie inférieure de l’adaptateur (siège poussette) sur les boutons ressort (I2-1). Enfoncez le bouton
ressort et faites glisser l’adaptateur vers le bas simultanément, jusqu’à entendre un clic. Voir “placer
l’adaptateur” (E1).

• Répétez cette opération de l’autre côté.

• Dépliez ensuite complètement le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX et tendez la manette.

Réglage du repose-pieds (J1)

• Vous pouvez régler le repose-pieds dans deux positions, selon la longueur des jambes de votre enfant (J1).

• Tournez les deux manettes de réglage du repose-pieds vers l’extérieur (J1-1). Poussez le repose-pieds vers le
haut ou vers le bas (J1-2) et verrouillez les manettes de réglage en les tournant de nouveau vers l’intérieur.

• Attention: lors de l’installation du repose-pieds, vous devez adapter la longueur de la sangle de réglage (J1-3).

• Dans la position la plus basse du repose-pieds, la sangle doit être à sa longueur maximale (utilisez les boutons
du haut et du bas).

• Dans la position la plus haute du repose-pieds, la sangle doit être à sa longueur maximale (utilisez les boutons
du milieu et du bas).

Mode d’emploi

Important!! Si vous n’avez pas réglé la sangle à la bonne longueur, le repose-pieds ne pourra pas se rabattre
automatiquement.

Démonter le siège poussette (K1-K2)

• Démontez les adaptateurs du siège poussette en appuyant sur le bouton ressort (K1-1) et en faisant glisser
simultanément l’adaptateur vers le haut (K1-2). Répétez cette opération de l’autre côté.

• Rabattez le dossier du siège poussette vers l’avant. Poussez de chaque côté les boutons ressort (K2-1) et faites
glisser vers l’avant le siège poussette hors des rails (K2-2).

Utilisation comme poussette (L1-L4)

Harnais de sécurité

• Actionnez les freins de la Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

• Assurez-vous que le harnais de sécurité est relâché avant d’installer votre enfant (doucement !) dans le siège.

• Emboîtez les embouts du fermoir l'un dans l'autre (L1-1) et fixez la ceinture ventrale et les bretelles à la bande
d'entrejambes en encliquetant les embouts dans le fermoir du harnais ( L1-2).

• Réglez les bretelles selon la taille de votre enfant en les allongeant ou en les raccourcissant à l’aide des pattes
de serrage (L2).

• Ouvrez la boucle de fermeture en appuyant sur les boutons (L3).

• Vous disposez d’anneaux en D pour l’attachement d’un harnais supplémentaire. Veillez à ce que ce harnais de
sécurité réponde aux normes (BS 6684) lorsque vous l'utilisez.

• ATTENTION! Utilisez l'attache rapide sur le côté du siège uniquement pour la mise en place d'un nid d'ange (L4)

AVERTISSEMENT: UTILISEZ TOUJOURS LA SANGLE CENTRALE AVEC LES CEINTURES ABDOMINALES ET DES
EPAULES.

Réglage du dossier (M1)

Le dossier de la poussette peut se régler dans quatre positions, grâce aux points de réglage placés de chaque côté.

• De la position assise à la position allongée
Enfoncez les deux boutons de chaque côté des points de réglage du dossier (M1-1) tout en déplaçant le dossier
vers l’arrière. Nous vous recommandons de manipuler le dossier avec précaution lorsque votre enfant est assis
dans le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX.

• De la position allongée à la position assise
Poussez le haut du dossier du siège poussette. Le siège s’enclenche automatiquement. (M1-2)
Contrôlez que les points de réglage sont dans la même position, à gauche comme à droite.

Régler le repose-jambes du siège poussette (N1)

• Le repose-jambes du siège poussette peut se régler dans deux positions.

• Les enfants les plus petits pour qui le siège est encore trop long sont installés avec les jambes tendues, et le
repose-jambes est donc en position haute. Lorsque l’enfant est plus grand, le repose-jambes peut être réglé
vers le bas.

• Lorsque vous déplacez le repose-jambes vers le haut, il s’enclenche automatiquement en position haute (N1-1).

• Pour régler le repose-jambes en position basse, saisissez simultanément les deux manettes placées sous le
siège et poussez le repose-jambes vers le bas (N1-2).

Pare-soleil (O1-O2)

• Pour placer le pare-soleil, enfoncez les deux bouts du pare-soleil dans les ouvertures des adaptateurs du siège
de poussette (O1).

• Pour enlever le pare-soleil, enfoncez les boutons sur les adaptateurs (O2-1) et retirez simultanément le pare-soleil
(O2-2).

Le panier

Le panier placé sous le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX peut supporter un poids de 5 kg maximum.

Entretien

• Contrôlez regulièrement que tout fonctionne correctement.

• Si le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX a subi des dommages, par exemple après un transport en avion, faites-le contrôler /
réparer par votre fournisseur avant de le réutiliser.

• Le support peut être nettoyé avec un chiffon humide. N’utilisez pas de produit de nettoyage agressif.

• N’utilisez pas de produit lubrifiant, car cela retient la poussière et la saleté.

• Le panier n’est pas amovible et vous pouvez le nettoyer avec un chiffon humide.

• Vous pouvez laver la housse à la main dans de l’eau tiède.

• Utilisez une lessive ordinaire. Attention! Ne pas laver en machine! (voir étiquette de lavage).

Démontage de la housse avant le lavage (P1)

• Défaites d’abord le siège poussette du Maxi-Cosi Citi CX. Pour cela, reportez-vous au chapitre “ démonter le
siège poussette ”.

• Détachez les six boutons pressions de la housse (P1), et défaites le harnais de sécurité en le passant par les
fentes.

• Retirez la housse du siège poussette. Le montage de la housse se fait exactement dans l’ordre inverse.

Accessoires

• Certains accessoires d’origine sont disponibles avec le Maxi-Cosi Citi CX, comme l’habillage pluie, la
chancelière et la nacelle landau (Dreami). L’utilisation d’accessoires non adaptés peut diminuer la qualité de
fonctionnement.

La garantie ne couvre pas les cas suivants:

- Le produit présenté au fabricant sans le ticket de caisse d’origine.

- Les défauts dus à la négligence, à un usage ou à un entretien non conforme aux indications figurant dans le
mode d’emploi.

- Les réparations effectuées par des tiers.

- Les décolorations, les dommages ou les marques sur le textile causés par : des lavages, la pluie ou une trop
grande exposition au soleil (UV).

- Les défauts résultant d’un manque d’entretien ou de chocs subis par le textile et le châssis.

- Les défauts dus à un accident ou à un transport en avion.

- Les défauts résultant d’une surcharge (poids maximal de l’enfant et surcharge du panier).

- Les défauts provoqués par l’utilisation d’une planche ou d’un siège pour un deuxième enfant.

Garantie

- Il est question d’usure normale des roues, des pneus et/ou de la confection du hamac, notamment en cas de
crevaison des pneus et/ou usure des boutons-pressions qui se détachent.

- Toutes déformations du produit (roues et/ou axes cassés, tordus, etc.) dues à un choc, ou lorsque celui-ci a été
fortement heurté à un objet (comme par exemple, un bord de trottoir ou une porte lourde de magasin).

- Les dommages causés sur les sols (comme par exemple, les traces de pneus sur les parquets, les sols laminés
synthétiques, etc.).

Quand la garantie prend-elle effet:

- Le délai de garantie prend effet à compter de la date d’achat du produit.

Pour quelle période:

- La garantie du châssis est valable pour une période de 24 mois consécutifs. Les parties textiles et toutes autres
pièces sujettes à usure sont garanties pour une durée de 12 mois consécutifs. Le propriétaire initial de la
poussette est le seul bénéficiaire de la garantie. La garantie n’est pas transmissible.

Que devez-vous faire:

- En cas de défauts, veuillez vous adresser à la personne qui vous a vendu le produit. Si le vendeur ne peut pas
remédier à votre plainte, il renverra le produit au fabricant avec une description de la réclamation et le ticket de
caisse d’origine où figure la date d’achat. Les produits qui sont retournés directement au fabricant ne sont PAS
couverts par la garantie.

Disposition supplémentaire concernant la housse et les autres composants sujets à l'usure:

- La housse doit être régulièrement entretenue (conformément aux prescriptions d’entretien figurant dans le
mode d’emploi). Il est inévitable que la housse présente, après un certain temps, une certaine usure ou une
décoloration due au soleil, même lors d’un usage normal. La garantie de la confection et des autres pièces
sujettes à l’usure, tels que les pneus, sont donc couverts sur une période de 12 mois maximum à compter de
la date d’achat.
