2. Safety Guidelines
Reading these guidelines minimize the risk of misusing the phone. In this Manual, following guidelines are discussed in details: USING - do not use the telephone in any area where the use of mobile phones is restricted such as refueling points or hospitals. Using mobile phones in such places might expose others to danger, FLASHLIGHT – do not look directly into the stream of light, HEARING DEVICE – if the user has a hearing device, phone volume should be carefully adjusted to hearing aid sensitivity, WATERPROOF – the telephone is not waterproof. Keep it dry at all times.

2.1 GSM Network
The telephone is designed to work in GSM 900/1800 network.
Prior to using telephone features as available on the phone, availability of such features should be confirmed with the GSM service provider.
Note: Using Polish fonts in text messages is not possible with any provider. For more information, contact your service provider.
3. Getting Started
Before switching on your phone you need to correctly install the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card. Pay close attention not to damage the card while inserting it. Keep SIM cards away from children.

3.1 SIM Card Installation
Before inserting the SIM card make sure your phone is switched off. The charger should be disconnected as well.
1. With your fingernail pull up the battery cover at the
bottom of your phone, where the notch is (as shown on the picture below).
2. Insert the SIM card into a SIM slot as shown on
next picture:

3.2 MicroSD Memory Card Installation
There is an opening for a MicroSD Memory Card next to the SIM card slot on the right hand side. Move the pin to OPEN, and lift the pin. Insert MicroSD Memory Card so the MicroSD Memory Card contacts touch the phone contacts, close the pin and move it back to LOCK.
Be careful while using the memory card particularly while installing and uninstalling the card. Some memory cards

shall be formatted on the computer prior to an initial use. If you use SD cards, make backup copies of all data stored on cards in other devices on the regular basis! Misuse of the card or other factors might cause damage or loss of entire data stored on the card. The MicroSD Memory Card is not included. The MicroSD Memory Card enhances the memory of your telephone that might be used to store multimedia files.
3.3 Battery Installation
1. Install the battery with the contacts +/- facing
downwards.

2. After installing the battery, replace the battery cover
and slightly press the edges.
3.4 Charging the Battery
Note: Use only the original battery included in the
package. Using other batteries could damage your phone;
the manufacturer’s warranty does not cover damage of
your phone caused by the use of any unauthorized accessories. Never plug in the charger with the back cover open.

In order to charge your phone.
1. Plug the charger into a jack at the bottom of the phone.
2. Plug the charger into a power outlet. A message about charging will appear at the top right corner of the display. Light green color indicates the battery is fully charged.
3. When the battery is fully charged, unplug the charger from the power outlet and disconnect the charger from the phone.
3.4.1 Desk Adapter (Option)
In case of using a desk adapter, first plug the small end of the wall charger into the jack of the desk adapter, and next plug the power adapter into a power outlet. To charge the battery, just position your phone into the desk adapter with the contacts facing the base inwards.

3.5 Low Battery Alert
When the battery is low, your phone will emit a sound alert (if sound alerts are enabled in Profiles) and display a low
battery message. The message „Battery critically low” will
appear on your display. You will also see the battery icon
on your screen. When such a message appears,
charge the battery.
3.6 Switching On the Phone
Press and hold a red/End Call button to switch on your phone.
If a message asking for a Personal Identification Number (PIN) code appears, you must enter your PIN. You can find the PIN in a SIM card starter kit. Upon entering the
code, press the green receiver to confirm.

When you use the phone for the first, you will get a chance to enter the date and time. Enter all digits of the date, and
confirm by pressing the green button . Next, enter the correct hour, and press to confirm. You might also
use the DOWN/UP keys to switch between digits.
3.7 Switching Off the Phone
To switch the phone off, press and hold the red receiver/End call button .
Warning: If you enter incorrect PIN three times in a raw your SIM card will be locked. You might unlock your card by entering the PIN Unlock Key (PUK) code. Entering incorrect PUK code ten times in a raw will permanently lock the SIM card.

3.8 Keypad Lock
To lock the keypad, press and . After a given time of inactivity the keypad gets locked automatically. The inactivity time might be changed in
MENU > Settings > Display Settings > Auto Key Lock.
You can also set the Key lock by pressing the red receiver only, with no need to press .
MENU > Settings > Security > Red Receiver Lock To unlock the keypad, press
and .
Incoming phone call can be answered even if the keypad is locked.
3.9 Idle Mode
If the phone is switched on, but there is no activity, the phone goes into Idle mode.

Phone Screen Description
A blinking symbol informs you about a new message or missed phone call. Time-out is about 1 hour. You can turn it off by selecting:
