1. INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY

This limited warranty (hereinafter referred to
as: the warranty) is extended by the manufacturer, Maurice Lacroix SA, Rue des Rangiers
21, CH-2350 Saignelégier (Switzerland). The
limitations to the warranty are detailed below.
Your Maurice Lacroix watch was manufactured using only quality materials and applying stringent production standards. Like all
Maurice Lacroix watches, it was subjected to
an individual quality control and complied
with the demanding quality requirements stipulated by Maurice Lacroix SA.
For this reason, Maurice Lacroix SA extends a
guarantee covering all manufacturing defects
for a period of two (2) years from the date of
purchase.
This warranty entitles you to claim for the repair of all production defects arising during
the period of warranty, on condition that
they are communicated without delay. In addition, the watch may be replaced at the
manufacturer’s discretion.
You can claim your entitlement under this
manufacturer warranty from any authorised
Maurice Lacroix retailer, from any Maurice
Lacroix representative or any regional service
centre, or directly from Maurice Lacroix SA.
WARRANTY RESTRICTION
Please note that your international Maurice
Lacroix warranty is only valid if your returned watch is accompanied by the Warranty Certificate located at the beginning of
this manual. This Warranty Certificate must
be completed in every part and signed by
the authorised Maurice Lacroix retailer
where you bought your watch. This Warranty Certificate must bear the serial number
and the reference number of the watch and
the exact date of purchase. It must also bear
the stamp and signature of the authorised
Maurice Lacroix retailer.

This warranty does not cover the crystal,
leather straps or any damage caused by
inappropriate use, such as sharp knocks,
extreme heat or cold, or strong magnetic
fields. Any repair or maintenance work
carried out by unauthorised persons shall
also automatically make this warranty null
and void. In addition, this warranty does not
cover the batteries that operate the quartz
mechanism. Your watch is guaranteed to be
water-resistant for a period of two (2) years
from the date of pur chase, on condition that
the crystal, face, case and crown are all
undamaged.
Your attention is drawn expressly to the fact
that Maurice Lacroix watches are not suitable for use while practising extreme sports.
APPLICABLE LAW AND OTHER RIGHTS
This manufacturer warranty gives you specific legal rights; in addition to these, you may also have
other rights on the basis of irrevocable provisions
established by other national laws, which may
vary from country to c ountry, according to the l aw
applicable at the time and in the place where
your watch was purchased.
In addition, this warranty does nothing to alter
your rights with regard to the authorised Maurice
Lacroix retailer from whom you purchased your
watch, under which you may be entitled to claim
as a consequence of the applicable national law
governing the sale of consumer goods.
EXCLUSION AND RESTRICTION OF OTHER
WARRANTIES
Insofar as allowed under current law,
Maurice Lacroix SA excludes all and any
other express or implied warranties. All implied warranties, i.e. including, though not
exclusively, any implied warranty covering
the relative characteristics for merchantability or a specific application, as may be imposed under a country’s legislation, shall be
limited to a duration of two (2) years. Some
countries do not allow any limitation on the
duration of an implied warranty, in which
case the restriction in this clause may not apply to you.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
As far as applicable law allows, Maurice
Lacroix SA or the authorised Maurice Lacroix
retailers shall under no circumstances be liable to the purchaser or to any other persons
for individual, consequential or incidental
damages of any kind (including, but not limited to, loss of income or business or any other
economic damage) that may arise out
of a breach of the warranty, a breach of
contract or otherwise, even if Maurice
Lacroix SA has been informed about such a possibility.
Any recovery against Maurice Lacroix SA or the
authorised Maurice Lacroix retailer shall in any
case be limited expressly to the purchase price
of the watch, regardless of whether the said re
covery is based on the clauses of this warranty
or on legal provisions. Some countries do not al
low the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, in which case
the limitations and exclusions in this clause may
not apply to you.

THE CARIBBEAN ONLY)
DKSH Luxury & Lifestyle North America Inc., the
exclusive United States importer and distributor
of Maurice Lacroix brand watches, hereby ex
tends to purchasers of Maurice Lacroix brand
watches purchased within the United States of
America and the Caribbean (first purchaser
only) the following express warranty (which re
places and excludes any other express warranties of DKSH Luxury & Lifestyle North America
Inc. or Maurice Lacroix Ltd., within the U.S.A.
and the Caribbean):
For a period of two (2) years from the date of
purchase, DKSH Luxury & Lifestyle North Amer
ica Inc., will repair any Maurice Lacroix brand
watch purchased within the U.S.A. and the Car
ibbean if:
1. the watch is returned to one of the authorised
U.S. Service Centres; and
2. the returned watch is accompanied by proof
of purchase, i.e. an authorised retailer pur
chase receipt with reference and serial number, date and place of purchase, or by the
Warranty Certificate received with the
watch at the time of purchase. This Warranty
Certificate — located at the beginning of this
manual — must be duly completed, stating
name and full address of the authorised
Maurice Lacroix retailer where the watch
was purchased, date of purchase as well as
the reference number and serial number of
the watch purchased.

straps, crystals, batteries, wear and tear to the
case or moisture damage if the timepiece is a
non-water-resistant model, nor does it apply if
there is evidence of misuse or abuse of the watch

3. QUARTZ MOVEMENT
The electrical energy provided by the battery causes the quartz in the interior of the
watch movement to oscillate 32,768 times
per second. This high frequency gives great
accuracy.
The seconds hand advances in steps.

4. SETTINGS
4.1 STANDARD SETTINGS FOR
ALL WATCHES
Setting the time:
1. Pull the crown (I) right out completely to
position 2. The seconds hand will stop.
2. Set the time by turning the crown (I)
forwards or backwards.
3. To synchronise the watch with the official
time signal (radio, telephone, etc.), push the
crown (I) back into position 0 to coincide
with the given time signal.
After settings, always push the crown (I)

back into position 0 and avoid setting
the time under water to prevent moisture
from getting into the mechanism.
Setting the date and the day:

1. Pull the crown (I) right out to position 1.

the crown (I) clockwise or anti-clockwise
and set the current date.

4.2 SPECIAL SETTINGS

2. Press the corrector (V) until the desired

3. Press the corrector (VI) until the desired
month is displayed in (H).

2. Turn the hands forward by turning the
crown, until the current moonphase display
appears.
3. Push the crown (I) back into position 1 and
set the current date using the quick change
correction.
4. Push the crown (I) back into position 0.
Calibre ML37
1. Press the corrector (VII) until the full moon
appears in the centre of the
aperture (G).
2. Press the corrector (VII) as many times as
there are days that have passed since the
last full moon.
4.3 CHRONOGRAPH SETTINGS
4. 3.1 SIMPLE TIMING FOR ALL
CHRONOGRAPH WATCHES
1. Press the pusher (II) to start the
chronograph.
2. Press the pusher (II), the chronograph is
stopped and you can read the time
measured.
3. Press the pusher (II) to restart the
chronograph OR press the pusher (III)
to reset to zero.
4.3.2 USING THE QUARTZ CHRONO-
GRAPH FUNCTIONS: Calibre D/E
Timing with intermediate times:
1. After the pusher (II) is pressed,
the counter hands will turn to show
the measured time.
2. After the pusher (III) is pressed to stop the
chronograph, the 60-seconds counter
hand (I), the 30-minutes counter hand (K)
and the 1/10 of a second hand (J) will
stop running and the first intermediate time
measured can be read.
3. Press the pusher (III), the chronograph will
restart and catch up with the elapsed time.
4. Press the pusher (III), the chronograph will
stop running and the second intermediate
time measured can be read.
5. Press the pusher (III), the chronograph will
restart and catch up with the elapsed time.
6. Press the pusher (II) to stop the timing and
read the total time.
7. Press the pusher (III) to reset the
chronograph.
N.B. After starting the chronograph, the
1/10 of a second hand will stop turning
after 30 seconds to save battery life.
Adjusting the chronograph hands to the
zero position:
For example, after a battery change or a
violent shock, one or several chronograph
hands (I), (J) or (K) are not in their correct
zero positions and have to be adjusted.
1. Pull out the crown (I) to position (2).
2. Keep the pushers (II) and (III) pressed
simultaneously for at least 2 seconds.
The second counter hand (J) rotates by
360°. The corrective mode is activated.
3. Adjust the second counter hand (I) by
pressing the pusher (II).
4. Press the pusher (III) to adjust the next
hand.
5. Adjust the 1/10 of a second counter
hand (J) in single steps by pressing the
pusher (II).
6. Press the pusher (III) to adjust the next
hand.
7. Adjust the 30-minutes counter hand (K)
by pressing the pusher (II).
8. Return the crown (I) to position (0).
N.B. The adjustments can be made in
single steps by pressing the pusher (II)
once or continuously by pressing the
pusher (II) non-stop.
4.4 USING THE AUTOMATIC
CHRONOGRAPH FUNCTIONS
Calibre ML57/ML112
1. Press the pusher (II), the counter hands will
turn to show the measured time.
2. Press the pusher (II) to stop the chronograph, the 60-seconds counter hand (I),
the 30-minutes counter hand (K) and the
12-hours counter hand (L) will stop running
and the time measured can be read.
3. Press the pusher (II), the chronograph
will restart OR press the pusher (III),
the chronograph will be reset to zero.
Using the chronograph: do not adjust

the pushers (II) and (III) under water to
prevent moisture from getting into the
mechanism.

AND PRODUCT CARE
MAGNETIC FIELDS
So as not to affect the running of your watch,
avoid placing it near magnetic fields created
by objects such as magnets, mobile phones,
speakers, etc.
SHOCKS
Avoid all types of shocks, whether physical,
thermal or other.
TEMPERATURE
Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures (over 60°C or 140°F and under 0°C or
32°F) or to sudden fluctuations in temperature.
SALT-WATER
Always rinse your watch with clear and fresh
water afterwards.
CHEMICAL PRODUCTS
Avoid all direct contact with all chemical
products, solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetics, etc. which may damage the leather
strap, the bracelet or the case.
ANTI-REFLECTIVE TREATMENT
The anti-reflective treatment of the sapphire
crystal glass improves the visibility of the dial
of the watch. Everyday wear can cause marks
to appear (scratches, chips, etc.). These are
considered normal and are not covered by the
warrant y.
CLEANING
Use a toothbrush and soapy water to clean me t
al bracelets, rubber straps and waterresistant cases and a soft cloth to dry them off
afterwards.
LEATHER STRAPS
Protect leather straps from grease, water and
humidity and avoid excessive exposure to sun
light.
BATTERIES
We recommend that you contact an official
Maurice Lacroix service centre or official
Maurice Lacroix retailer, as they are equipped
with the tools and apparatus required to carry

out the work and the necessary checks in a
professional manner. A worn-out battery
of the materials will help to conserve natural
resources.

WHAT ARE THE SERVICE INTERVALS?
Like all micro-mechanical precision instruments, your watch should be serviced regular-

the watch yourself. As a rule, a watch should
be serviced every 4-5 years, depending on
the conditions in which it is worn.

Screw-in crown:
Some watches — usually those water-resistant
to more than 5 ATM — can have a screw-in
crown. Before being able to make any adjust
ments (change the date, set the time, etc.) the
crown has to be unscrewed. To do so, please

Afin de ne pas affecter le fonctionnement de
votre montre, évitez de la placer à proximité de
champs magnétiques créés par des objets tels
aimants, téléphones portables, enceintes, etc.
CHOCS
Évitez tout type de chocs physiques, thermiques ou autres.
TEMPÉRATURE
Évitez d’exposer votre montre à des températures extrêmes (supérieures à 60°C ou 140°F,
et inférieures à 0°C ou 32°F) ainsi qu’à des
variations brusques de températures.
EAU SALÉE
Rincez toujours votre montre à l’eau douce
après exposition à de l’eau salée.
PRODUITS CHIMIQUES
Évitez tout contact direct avec des produits
chimiques, solvants, détergents, parfums, cosmétiques etc. qui sont susceptibles d’endom-
mager le bracelet en cuir ou autre matériau,
ou le boîtier.
TRAITEMENT ANTI-REFLETS
Le traitement anti-reflets du verre saphir améliore la lisibilité du cadran de la montre. L’usure
quotidienne peut provoquer des marques
(rayures, ébréchures, etc.). Ces marques sont
considérées comme normales et ne sont pas
couvertes par la garantie.
NE TTOYAGE
Utilisez une brosse à dents et de l’eau savon
neuse pour nettoyer les bracelets en métal, les
bracelets en caoutchouc et les boîtiers
étanches, puis un chiffon doux pour les sécher.
BRACELETS EN CUIR
Protégez vos bracelets en cuir contre la graisse,
l’eau et l’humidité, et évitez toute exposition pro
longée à la lumière du soleil.

Nous vous recommandons de contacter un
centre de service Maurice Lacroix officiel ou un
détaillant Maurice Lacroix autorisé car ils dis
posent des outils et équipements adaptés pour
effectuer les interventions et les vérifications né

pile usée doit être remplacée immédiatement

Comme tout instrument de précision micromécanique, votre montre doit faire l’objet d’entretiens réguliers pour garantir un fonctionnement parfait. Nous ne pouvons pas dire
précisément la fréquence à laquelle votre
montre doit être soumise à un entretien car
cela dépend du modèle, du climat de la région dans laquelle vous vivez et du soin que
vous apportez à votre montre. De manière générale, une montre doit faire l’objet d’un entretien tous les 4-5 ans, suivant les conditions
dans laquelle elle est portée.

Certaines montres, généralement les

équipées d’une couronne vissée. Il est néces
saire de dévisser la couronne avant de pouvoir effectuer le moindre ajustement (changement de la date, réglage de l’heure, etc.).

Indicateur de réserve de marche :
Certaines montres automatiques sont dotées
d’un indicateur de réserve de marche. Si la
montre est rarement ou jamais portée, l’indica
teur de réserve de marche baissera progressivement. Lorsque la montre est remontée ou portée
au poignet, l’indicateur de réserve de marche
remonte progressivement.
Fonction fin de vie :
Cette fonction n’est présente que sur certains
mouvements à quartz et sert à indiquer que la
pile arrive en fin de vie. Si l’aiguille des se
condes se met à sauter toutes les 4 secondes,
nous vous recommandons de remplacer la pile
immédiatement.
Tachymètre ou échelle tachymétrique :
Certains cadrans sont équipés d’une échelle
tachymétrique, qui mesure la vitesse (en km/h)
sur une distance parcourue d’un km ou un mile.
Exemple : 1000 mètres parcourus en 45 se
condes représentent une vitesse de 80 km/h.
Carat :
Le poids d’un diamant est mesuré en carats,

die Batterie des Quarz-Uhrwerks. Die Wasser
dichtigkeit ist für den Zeitraum von zwei Jahren
ab Kaufdatum garantiert, sofern Uhrglas,
Zifferblatt, Deckelboden und Krone unbeschädigt sind.
Es wird ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen,
dass Maurice Lacroix Uhren nicht zum Tragen bei Extremsport geeignet sind.
GELTENDES RECHT UND ANDERE RECHTE
Diese Herstellergarantie gibt Ihnen bestimmte
Rechte; außerdem haben Sie möglicherweise
noch andere Rechte aufgrund unabdingbarer Be
stimmungen anderer nationaler Gesetze, die von
Staat zu Staat gemäß des zum Zeitpunkt und am
Ort des Kaufes Ihrer Uhr geltenden Rechts unter
schiedlich sein können.
Ferner berührt diese Garantie nicht Ihre Rechte
gegenüber dem autorisierten Maurice Lac
roix-Fachhändler, bei dem Sie Ihre Uhr gekauft
haben, die Sie nach dem anwendbaren nationa
len Recht zur Regelung des Verkaufs von Konsum-

ANDERER GARANTIEN
Soweit nach geltendem Gesetz zulässig,
schließt Maurice Lacroix SA jegliche andere
ausdrückliche oder stillschweigende Garantie aus. Alle stillschweigenden Garantien,
die auch, aber nicht ausschließlich, die stillschweigenden Garantien auf die entsprechenden Merkmale für die Kommerzialisierung oder eine besondere Anwendung
umfassen, die möglicherweise nach der Gesetzgebung eines Staates gewährt werden
müssen, sind auf eine Dauer von zwei Jahren
beschränkt. In einigen Staaten ist die Beschränkung der Dauer einer stillschweigenden Garantie nicht gestattet, so dass die in

weitet hiermit folgende ausdrückliche Gewähr
leistung auf Käufer von Maurice Lacroix Markenuhren aus, welche innerhalb der Vereinigten
Staaten und der Karibik erworben wurden (aus
schließlich Ersterwerber). Diese Gewährleistung
ersetzt und schließt alle sonstigen ausdrücklichen
Gewährleistungen von DKSH Luxury & Lifestyle
North America Inc. oder Maurice Lacroix Ltd. in
nerhalb der U.S.A. und Karibik aus: DKSH Luxury & Lifestyle North America Inc. wird in einem
Zeitraum von zwei (2) Jahren ab Kaufdatum alle
Reparaturen an Maurice Lacroix Markenuhren
vornehmen, die in den U.S.A. und in der Karibik
gekauft wurden, solange:
1. die Uhr einem autorisierten U.S. Service
Center zugesandt wird; und
2. der Uhr entweder ein Kaufbeleg, z.B. die Quit
tung eines autorisierten Fachhändlers mit auf-
geführter Referenz, Seriennummer, Kaufdatum
und Ort des Kaufs; oder der Garantieschein
beiliegt, den der Käufer zum Zeitpunkt des Er
werbs erhalten hat. Dieser Garantieschein –
der am Anfang dieser Bedienungsanleitung zu
finden ist – muss vollständig ausgefüllt sein und
den Name n und die komplette Adre sse des au
torisierten Maurice Lacroix Fachhändlers ent-

halten, bei dem die Uhr erworben wurde, sowie das Kaufdatum, die Referenz-Nummer
und die Seriennummer der gekauften Uhr.
Diese beschränkte Gewährleistung erstreckt sich
nicht auf Lederarmbänder, Gläser, Batterien, Ab
nutzungen des Gehäuses oder Feuchtigkeitsschä-

den, wenn es sich um ein nicht wasserdichtes Modell handelt, und greift auch bei nachweislicher
Fehlanwendung oder unsachgemäßem Ge
brauch der Uhr nicht, wenn diese Anwendung
oder dieser Gebrauch den beiliegenden Anwei
sungen widerspricht. Dies bezieht sich auch auf
Defekte, die auf Wartungsarbeiten nicht autori
sierter Personen zurückzuführen sind.
