ENGLISH
Congratulations, you have just acquired a STIMER M6 Amp model, conceived with the same classical models sound's quality which benefits from modern technological advances. It’s a tube amp 6 watt, Class A, with a vintage sound of the 50s. Completely made by Maurice Dupont workshop (Cognac, France), point-to-point wiring and handmade, to avoid at most the losses of sound and keep all the heat of tubes. Ideal for the studio or to play at home, it will be also very surprising on stage.
Important:
-When turning on the amplifier, wait for 1 minute before activating the STANDBY for the tube to heat. The tubes will last longer.
-Before any moving or shipping, make sure the tubes are cold. Even if they are solid, the filament are fragile when hot.
-To turn off : turn off the STANDBY before switching off the amp.
-Never turn on the amplifier without plugging the speakers! Risk of burning the output transformer and power tubes.
NEVER OPEN THE AMP, THERE IS VERY HIGH VOLTAGES INSIDE WHICH COULD
KILL YOU

Maintenance
Attention, we advise you to contact a technician if you are not experimented.
- The tubes are standard models and are available at every good retailers. They have a life expectancy from 4000 to 6000 hours for a normal usage. It is imperative to make them warm before any use to guarantee them this life expectancy. If you have to change them, always be careful not to burn you because they can be very warm, verify that the supply is switched off and the cable disconnected. We recommend to replace them only by lamps of the same model. Do not hesitate to contact us for any information.
- If there is no supply anymore when you switch on the amplifier, the circuit breaker is probably activated. In that case, check that the button GAINS is in position 0 (standby), check that the button MARCHE is off, disconnect the grip of supply and press on the circuit breaker.
- Be sure that the speaker is connected before switching on the amp. Pay attention that the impedance is compatible (output jack 8 ohms).
- Do not put liquid on the amp.
- Let your ampli adapt itself in case of strong temperature variation before switching on it.
- Never forget that tubes are made of glass.
