Remove plastic, white stabilizing bushing from top of central shaft (A). Insert narrow end of bushing into the shaft end of down_rod-light-canOpy/support pole (D) with three holes, iining up the twin mounting holes in both down_rod-light-canOpy/su
pport
pole (D) and those of the white plastic bushing. Down-rod- light-canopy/support pole (D) should be oriented with end of three holes to the fan body (wide portion of light canopy stin towards ceiling). String wires
(M)
through the bottom of the down-rod-Iight-
canopy/support pole (D) to top of pole. Shaft (A) is to enter white plastic bushing and down-rod-Iight-
canopy/support pole (D). Holes in both shaft (Al and down_rod-light-.:anOpy/supportpole (D) are to be aligned. Secure down_rod-Iight-canopy/support pole (D) to shaft (A) with shorter (L,) bolt set with the iock
washer positioned In between washer and nut. When pushing bolt through down_rod-light-.:anOpy/support
poie (D) and shaft (A), make sure wires (M) are not damaged. Use set screw wrench to push the wires out
of the way if necessary. Caution: Tighten nut and bolt set very well.
1. Attach bracket (H) to junctIon box securely. Caution, Tighten sc",ws wetl. JunctIon box should be suItable
for fan support and secu",d dIrectly to butldlng structu'" and be capable of withstanding a load of 15.9 kg
(35 Lbs).
Z. Orient the down_rod-light-canOpy/support pole (D) so that the wide end of the canopy is towards the
ceiling. Leave the protective, plastic sleeve over the lower portion of the down_rod_light-.:anOpy/support
pole (D), below the canopy. Take canopy

touching and farthest away possible from any and all metal/wiring.
11. Use a level to test that the down-rod-light-canopy/support pole
(0)
is hanging perpendicular to floor.
The level should be placed across the support rods (T1 and T2) and the fan body rotated slowly one full
revolution. If the fan is not hanging perpendicular, the level will tell you and the Oown-rod-light- canopy/support pole
(0),
bracket (H) or junction box should be adjusted accordingly. Caution: Do not
