Check the batteries if D-Rex™ is not functioning properly. If
batteries are OK and he’s still not working correctly, try switching
him "OFF", pausing 5 seconds and turning him back "ON".
LYING DOWN: If D-Rex
™
falls on his side, he will stop moving and
call for your attention. If you don't pick him up, eventually he will
take a dino nap or fall asleep.
• Watch his tail to study his mood. Fast wagging means
he’s happy and playful. If he stops wagging his tail, you'd
better feed him soon!
• D-Rex
™
is a restless dinosaur - he only listens when he's
not moving. If you whistle or call him while he is still, he will
turn his head and often give a response.
• D-Rex
™
does not like having his nose pressed. If you
repeatedly touch his nose, he’ll back up and become
increasingly more aggressive.
• Feeding and petting D-Rex
™
will keep him happy & playful!
• D-Rex
™
is a smart dinosaur, but if you give him too many
commands too quickly, he will remember only the last one.
After you have learned all about D-Rex™, try his special TRICKS
feature. You can program D-Rex
™
to remember a sequence of
up to 30 actions that he will perform on your command!
•SET-UP: Press the SEEK mode button, then quickly hold down
his bottom teeth while petting the back of his head. You
will hear a triple chirp sound. After this sound, D-Rex
™
is
ready to memorize your plan.
•PROGRAM: Follow the inputs below to program D-Rex
™
to perform
these actions:
Pet his head — D-Rex
™
walks forward
Push his nose — D-Rex
™
walks backward
Push his teeth — D-Rex
™
will roar
Call him from left or right. After he turns his head, pet his
head — D-Rex
™
will turn and walk toward you
Press SEEK mode button, or hold his lower teeth and pet
his head when finished programming.
•PERFORM: Call D-Rex
™
to watch him perform the tricks you taught him.
• EXIT: To exit this mode, press any of the buttons on the Bone Controller.
Press his nose or reset his
On/Off Switch to wake him up.

™
falls asleep, he will not
react to petting, sounds or signals from his Bone Controller.
