Matrox Extio F2208 and F2408 ship with multi-mode fiber optic cable transceivers. Single-mode transceiver kit available to support extension distances above 400 m (1312 ft) and up to 1 km (3280 ft). Contact Matrox for details.

Matrox Avio consists of a transmitter and receiver pair, which captures dual digital video, keyboard, mouse, analog stereo audio and USB 2.0 from the host system and extends them uncompressed up to 4 km (2.5 miles) over a single duplex LC-LC fiber optic cable.

Video Distribution over IP
Matrox Maevex features an encoder/decoder pair that delivers Full HD 1080p60 video and audio over standard LAN connectivity at user-defined low bit rates for minimal network bandwidth consumption and at a fraction of the cost of other solutions. The Maevex Encoder also provides open standard encoding, allowing for both Maevex Decoder and software based playback. All Maevex hardware comes packaged with Matrox PowerStream software, allowing for easy remote management of Maevex devices and enabling of a wide variety of user-defined stream-management features. Matrox also offers an even more cost-effective option with the Maevex Encoder/Decoder Bundle (P/N: MVX-ED5150F).
