Setup and Drive Operation

1.Mount pump head and load tubing. (See pump head manual.)

2.Set Mode Select switch (LOCAL/REMOTE).

3.Selecting motor direction turns pump on.

4.Adjust flow rate with the 1- or 10-turn potentiometer speed control.

Configuration et fonctionnement de l’entraînement

3.La sélection du sens de rotation du moteur met la pompe en marche.

4.Régler le débit de la pompe avec la commande de vitesse du potentiomètre à 1 ou à 10 tours.

Montage und Betrieb

1.Pumpenkopf montieren und Schlauch einlegen (siehe Bedienungsanleitung für Pumpenköpfe).

2.Den Moduswahl-Schalter einstellen (LOCAL/REMOTE-INTERN/EXTERN).

3.Die Wahl der Drehrichtung setzt die Pumpe in Betrieb.

4.Die Fördermenge mittels des 1- oder 10-Gang Potentiometers einstellen.

Teste pompanti accettate

Messa a punto e funzionamento

1.Montare la testa pompante e caricare il tubo (vedi il manuale della testa pompante).

2.Scegliere la modalità mediante il selettore LOCAL/REMOTE.

3.Scegliere il senso di rotazione del motore per avviare la pompa.

Description

Models with remote inputs (77521 series) have a 10-turn speed control pot with turns counting dial, which replaces the single-turn speed pot. The drive also incorporates a rear panel mounted LOCAL/REMOTE switch along with a 9-pin “D” shell connector (see ACCESSORIES, 07595-45) for an external 2–10V DC or 4–20 mA Speed Control input and Remote Start/Stop operation from external contact closures. This connector incorporates the following Feature Controls, (shown below in Figure 1).

Remote Start/Stop Control

The LOCAL/REMOTE selector switch (located on rear panel) selects the speed control signal from either the front panel or the Remote Speed Control. The Remote Start/Stop function is also enabled or disabled through this selector switch. The Remote/Local contact closure input is only active in the external mode of operation, allowing a remote selection of the speed control command from either the linear inputs or the front panel speed pot. An active low enables the front panel speed pot. (Footswitch available, 77595-35 as listed in the ACCESSORIES.)

The Remote Start/Stop operates through either an open contact closure or open collector driver. An active low causes the motor to run.

The table on page 8 summarizes the remote function operation.

Description

Les modèles à entrées externes (série 77521) sont équipés d’un potentiomètre de réglage de vitesse à 10 tours à cadran compte-tours au lieu d’un potentiomètre à un tour. L’entraînement comporte également un sélecteur INTERNE/EXTERNE monté sur le panneau arrière, ainsi qu’un connecteur à 9 broches et coquille « D » (voir ACCESSOIRES, 07595-45) pour une entrée externe 2–10 V c.c. ou 4–20 mA de réglage de vitesse et une commande de marche/arrêt à distance par fermetures de contacts externes. Ce connecteur incorpore les commandes de fonctions suivantes (voir la Figure 1 ci-dessous).

Commande de marche/arrêt à distance

Le sélecteur INTERNE/EXTERNE (qui se trouve sur le panneau arrière) permet de choisir le signal de réglage de vitesse en provenance du panneau avant ou de la commande de vitesse à distance. La fonction de marche/arrêt à distance est également activée ou désactivée par l’intermédiaire de ce sélecteur. L’entrée par fermeture de contacts externe/interne n’est active qu’en mode d’exploitation externe, permettant une sélection à distance de la commande de réglage de vitesse à partir des entrées linéaires ou du potentiomètre de vitesse qui se trouve sur le panneau avant. Un signal actif au niveau bas active ce potentiomètre. (Interrupteur à pédale disponible ; voir n° 77595-35 sur la liste des ACCESSOIRES.)

La commande de marche/arrêt à distance fonctionne par l’intermédiaire d’une fermeture de contacts ouverts ou d’un circuit d’attaque à collecteur ouvert. Un signal actif au niveau bas commande la marche du moteur.

Le tableau de la page 8 résume le fonctionnement de la commande à distance.

Beschreibung

Modelle mit Ferneingängen (Serie 77521) haben als Drehzahlregler einen 10-Gang-Potentiometer mit einer Zählscheibe für die Umdrehungen, der den 1-Gang-Drehzahlpotentiometer ersetzt. Der Antrieb enthält weiterhin einen an der Rückwand montierten Schalter LOCAL/REMOTE (INTERN/EXTERN) sowie einen 9-poligen Steckverbinder des Gehäusetyps „D“ (siehe ZUBEHÖR, 07595-45) für einen externen 2 – 10 V Gleichstrom oder 4 – 20 mA Drehzahlreglereingang und die Fernsteuerung von Start/Stop über externe Kontaktschließungen. Dieser Steckverbinder enthält die folgenden Funktionssteuerungen (wie unten in Abbildung 1 gezeigt).

Fernsteuerung von Start/Stop

Der Wahlschalter LOCAL/REMOTE (INTERN/EXTERN) an der Rückwand wählt das Drehzahlsteuersignal entweder von der Frontplatte oder der Fernbedienung aus. Die Fernfunktion START/STOP wird ebenfalls über diesen Wahlschalter aktiviert bzw. deaktiviert. Der Kontaktschlußeingang für Extern/Intern ist nur in der externen Betriebsart aktiv, so daß eine Fernwahl des Drehzahlsteuerungsbefehls entweder von den linearen Eingängen oder dem Drehzahlpotentiometer an der Frontplatte erfolgen kann. Ein aktives Low-Signal aktiviert den Drehzahlpotentiometer an der Frontplatte. (Fußschalter lieferbar, 77595-35; siehe unter ZUBEHÖR.)

Die Fernfunktion Start/Stop erfolgt entweder über einen offenen Kontaktschluß oder einen offenen Kollektortreiber. Bei aktivem Low-Signal läuft der Motor.

Die Fernsteuerungsfunktionen sind in der Tabelle auf Seite 8 zusammengefaßt.

PROCEDIMIENTO DE OPERACIÓN DE CONTROL REMOTO

Descripción

Los modelos con entradas de control remoto (serie 77521) tienen un potenciómetro de control de velocidad de 10 vueltas con esfera de recuento de vueltas, que reemplaza el potenciómeto de velocidad de una sola vuelta. El propulsor también dispone de un interruptor LOCAL/REMOTO montado en el panel trasero junto con un conector “D” de 9 contactos (vea ACCESORIOS, 07595-45) para una entrada de control de velocidad externa de 2–10 VCC o 4–20 mA y control remoto de arranque/parada desde los cierres de contacto externos. Este conector posee los siguientes controles (indicados en la Figura 1).

Control remoto de arranque/parada

El interruptor selector LOCAL/REMOTO (ubicado en el panel trasero) selecciona la señal de control de velocidad desde el panel delantero o el control remoto de velocidad. La función de control remoto de arranque/parada también se activa o desactiva por medio de este interruptor selector. La entrada de los cierres de contacto local/remoto está activa solamente en la modalidad de operación externa, permitiendo una selección por control remoto del comando de control de velocidad desde cualquiera de las entradas lineales o del potenciómetro de velocidad del panel delantero. Una baja activa acciona el potenciómetro de velocidad del panel delantero (se dispone de un interruptor de pie, 77595-35 según se indica en ACCESORIOS).

El control remoto de arranque/parada opera por medio de un cierre de contactos abierto o excitador de colector abierto. Una baja activa hace que el motor se ponga en marcha.

La tabla de la página 9 resume las operaciones de la función a distancia.

Descrizione

I modelli con ingressi remoti (serie 77521) sono dotati di un potenziometro a 10 giri, con contagiri per regolare la velocità. Questo potenziometro sostituisce il potenziometro della velocità a giro unico. L’azionamento è anche dotato di un interruttore LOCAL/REMOTE montato sul quadro comandi posteriore e di un connettore a “D” con

9 pin (vedi ACCESSORI, 07595-45) per l’ingresso a 2–10V in c.c. o a 4–20 mA per il regolatore della velocità esterno e per la funzione di avvio/arresto a distanza dalle chiusure dei contatto esterne. Questo connettore include i comandi di funzione indicati più sotto e mostrati nella Figura 1.

Comando di avvio/arresto a distanza

Il selettore LOCAL/REMOTE (situato nel quadro comandi posteriore) seleziona il segnale di regolazione della velocità o dal quadro comandi anteriore o dal regolatore di velocità a distanza. La funzione di avvio/arresto a distanza viene attivata o disattivata anch’essa mediante questo selettore. L’ingresso della chiusura di contatto a distanza/locale viene attivato solo in modalità di funzionamento esterno e consente la selezione a distanza del comando di regolazione della velocità sia dagli ingressi lineari o dal potenziometro di velocità nel quadro comandi anteriore. Un livello attivo basso abilita il potenziale della velocità nel quadro comandi anteriore (l’interruttore a pedale 77595-35 è disponibile ed è elencato sotto ACCESSORI).

L’avvio/arresto a distanza funziona o mediante chiusura di contatto aperta o mediante l’azionatore di un collettore aperto. Un livello basso mette in funzione il motore.
