shall notify their Distributor or the company within the warranty

no flame effect.

1. No power.

1a.Check that unit is plugged into a standard 120V outlet.

2a.Pls refer to replacing light bulbs steps to check if there
has any broken or loose light bulbs. ( 2a. Applied to models with light bulb.)

3a.Open back(applied to model No. REG23/REG23RC/REG28RC/
POLAR42RC) or bottom (applied to model No. TED20/TED23RC/TED28WRC)

of unit, check to see if “spinner” is correctly mounted at the rear of unit.

*Model No. refer to rating label on the back of the unit.

3b.Check to see if spinning motor is functioning. If not, call customer service.

4a.Turn all switches / buttons to the "OFF" position and unplug the unit from
the wall outlet for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes plug the unit back into wall outlet, and operate as normal.

6a.It is normal when the firebox is working. The noise comes from the fan that
blows the heated air out of the firebox. A slight noise may also come from the
motor that generates the flame. If it is unusual, check that the screws attaching

the flame motor are tightened.

7a.Check that heater switch / button is in “on” position. Switch should light up.

7b. Make certain that thermostat is turned toward the “HI” position.
( 7b. Applied to models with thermostat knob.)

8a.Use touch up sticker/ touch up pen to cover.

9a.Call 1-888-463-5698.

5a.Refer to operating instructions.

5e.Unplug the unit. Clear vent area of dust and debris.

POWER - Main power to unit. If you press the
power “ON”, it is not only put the fireplace insert
in a standby mode, but also you can see the flame
effect through the screen.

HEATER - This button will turn on the power to
the heater and blower.The HEATER switch has
two options "1" and "2". If you press the button"1"
only, it can operate the heater on the low setting
(750W). And if you want to operate the heater on
the high setting (1500W), you must press the
button ”1” first and then press the button “2”.

POWER - This button will not only put the
fireplace insert in a standby mode, but also you
can see the flame effect through the screen. This
will turn off all functions at once. By pressing the
button again the unit will turn on at the same
settings.

HEATER / -This button will turn on the
power to the heater and blower. The HEATER
switch has two options and . If you press
the button , it can operate the heater on the low
setting (750W). And If you press the button , it
can operate the heater on the high setting(1500W).

As an important safety feature, the heating element
is designed with a delayed activation sequence.
Therefore, when the heater is turned on it will take
several seconds for the unit to begin blowing hot
air. Subsequently, the fan blower will continue to
run for several seconds after the heater is turn off.

HeatOFF : This button will turn off the heater
and blower.

FLAME / : Allows you to adjust the flame to
suit your mood. Press button to increase flame
brightness and press button to decrease flame
brightness. You must press the button several
times to see the full flame effect.

1. Pas de courant. 1a.Vérifiez si l’unité est branchée dans la prise standard de 120V.

2a.Se référez aux étapes sur les ampoules de lumière pour vérifier si elles
sont abîmées ou pas besoin connectées. (2a. Applicable aux modèles avec le

ampoules de lumière.)

3a.Ouvrir l'arrière (appliqué aux modèles REG23/REG23RC/REG28RC/
POLAR42RC) ou panneau en bas (appliqué au modèle TED20/TED23RC/

3b.Vérifiez pour voir si le moteur du fileur fonctionne. Sinon, appelez le service
client.

4a.Tournez tous les interrupteurs / boutons sous mode "OFF" et débranchez
l’unité de la prise murale pour 5 minutes.
Après 5 minutes, rebranchez l’unité à la prise murale,et opérez normalement.

6a. Il est normal quand le foyer fonctionne. Le bruit vient de la fan qui pousse
l'air hors du foyer. Un léger bruit peut également venir du moteur qui produit la
flamme. S'il est peu commun, vérifiez que les vis attachant le moteur de

flamme sont serrées.

L’interrupteur devrait s’allumer.

7b. Assurez-vous que le thermostate est sous mode “HI”. (7b. Applicable aux
modèles avec le poignet du thermostate.)

8a.Utilisez un autocollant de retouche/ un stylo de retouche pour couvrir.

9a.Appelez 1-888-463-5698.

5a.Consultez les directives d'utilisation.
5b.Communiquez avec le service à la clientèle.

5e.Débranchez l'appareil. Surface de ventilation claire de poussière et de

ALIMENTATION - Il s'agit de l'alimentation
principale du foyer. En appuyant sur le bouton
« ALLUMER », le foyer se met en mode de veille
et l'effet de flammes est visible.

RADIATEUR - Ce bouton permet de mettre en
fonction le radiateur et le ventilateur. Le
RADIATEUR comporte deux réglages. En
appuyant sur le bouton 1 seulement, le radiateur
fonctionne au réglage inférieur (750 W). Pour
utiliser le radiateur au réglage supérieur (1 500
W), vous devez d'abord appuyer sur le bouton 1,
puis sur le bouton 2.

ALIMENTATION - Ce bouton le foyer se met
en mode de veille et l'effet de flammes est
visiblle. II sera désactiver toutes les fonctions du
même coup. En appuyant de nouveau sur ce
bouton, le foyer se remet en fonction selon les
mêmes réglages.

RADIATEUR / - Ces boutons permettent de
mettre en fonction le radiateur et le ventilateur. Le
RADIATEUR comporte deux réglages. En
appuyant sur le bouton , le radiateur fonctionne
au réglage inférieur (750 W). Et en appuyant sur le
bouton , le radiateur fonctionne au réglage
supérieur(1 500 W).

Pour une sécurité accrue, l'élément chauffant est
muni d'un dispositif de retardement. Ainsi, lorsque
le radiateur est mis en fonction, il s'écoule quelques
secondes avant que le ventilateur commence à
souffler de l'air chaud. De même, le ventilateur
continue de fonctionner durant quelques secondes
après la mise hors fonction du radiateur.

FLAMMES / - Ces boutons vous permettent
de régler les flammes à votre goût. Appuyez sur le
bouton pour augmenter l'intensité des flammes
et appuyez sur le bouton pour réduire l'intensité
des flammes. Il faut appuyer sur le bouton à
quelques reprises pour obtenir l'effet de flammes
maximum.

CHAUFFAGE - Ce bouton permet de mettre
hors fonction le radiateur et le ventilateur.
