1. Always wear safety goggles or glasses and hearing protection. When necessary due to the nature of the work, also wear respiratory protection (see Fig. 1).
2. WARNING: Always ensure that the work area is clear of any flammable materials,
liquids or gasses as the use of this tool may create sparks.
3. Never use oxygen, or any other combustible bottled gas as a power source as this could cause explosion and serious personal injury (see Fig. 2).
4. Use the tool only in a well-ventilated area!
5. Always ensure machine is switched off before connecting to air supply.
6. Disconnect machine from the air supply before changing bits, and before servicing any type of machine.
7. Always keep your air tool clean and lubricated. Daily lubrication is essential to avoid internal corrosion and possible failure.
8. Do not wear watches, rings bracelets or loose clothing when using air tools.
9. Use only light weight coil hoses from a tool to the wall or compressor coupling.
10. Do not overload the machine. Allow the tool to operate at its optimum speed for maximum efficiency.
11. Do not increase the air pressure above the manufacturers recommended level. This causes excessive wear on moving parts and possible failure.
12. Always ensure that the machine has stopped before putting it down after use.

General Usage Description:
This Mastercraft®Maximum Air-powered Angle Die Grinder features a non-slip, ergonomic soft-grip for greater operator comfort and fatigue reduction. Its double-bearing spindle gives it excellent concentricity and minimal vibration. A swivel rear-exhaust enables the user to direct exhaust air and the accompanying dust away from him or herself.
Compatible Compressor & Air Tool - Guidelines for Proper Usage & Operation
Always ensure the use of appropriately matched air tools and compressors. Be sure that the air compressor being used can supply the appropriate volume, pressure and delivery rate of air to the tool(s) without running continuously. Using tools or combinations of tools that together or separately require more than the air compressor can deliver will reduce performance and could void the compressor or tool guarantee/warranty.
Air System
1. Always use clean, dry and regulated, compressed air at a working pressure of between 75 and 90 PSI (between
5.2 and 6.3 Bar).
2. Never exceed the maximum pressure of 90 PSI (6.3 Bar). Operating the tool with excessive pressure could cause personal injury, and may result in excessive noise and damage to the tool.
3. Keep hands and other parts of the body away from the tool's discharge and working areas when connecting the air supply.
4. It is recommended that a filter-regulator-lubricator be used, and that it be located as close to the tool as possible (see Fig. 4).
5. If a filter-regulator-lubricator is not installed, place up to 6 drops of compressor oil into the NPT inlet plug before each use.
6. If a filter-regulator-lubricator is installed, keep the air filter clean. A dirty filter will reduce the air pressure to the tool, which will cause a reduction in power, efficiency, and general performance.
7. For optimal performance, install a quick connector to the tool and a quick coupler on the hose, if applicable.
8. Verify that all of the connections in the air supply system are sealed in order to prevent air from leaking.
