SAFETY WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:

WARNING: Wear proper personal protection equipment
– gloves and eye protection – when working with
refrigerants and solvents.

WARNING: Do not use any solvent containing alcohol,
lacquer thinner, brake cleaner, or any other non-approved
solvent.

WARNING: Do not look into the component to observe air
flow - injury may result

WARNING: Equipment must be operated by qualified
personnel. Operator must be familiar with air conditioning
and refrigeration systems, solvents, and the dangers of
pressurized components.

WARNING: The operator is responsible for complying with
any and all applicable laws and regulations governing
the use of this equipment, as well as the disposal of used
solvents, oils, equipment and components.

FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS:

3. Adapter tube sealers

4. Adapter plates

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Pick the adapter tube sealer that is appropriate for the tube or item that needs flushing.

2. Insert the adapter tube sealer into the screw part of the adapter clamp.

3. Choose the adapter plate that just fits over the tube behind any flare or bead on the end of the tube.

4. With the screw backed out enough for the adapter tube sealer to clear the tube, slide the U-shaped opening in the
adapter clamp flange behind the flare or bead on the tube end.

5. Place the adapter plate between the tube flare or bead and the flange on the adapter clamp. The flanges on the sides
of the adapter plate go towards the adapter clamp flange to keep the tube centered under the adapter tube sealer.

6. Hold the large nut on the adapter clamp and thread the screw with the adapter tube sealer into or onto the tube.

7. By hand, turn the large nut so there is enough pressure to seal, but not damage the adapter tube sealer or the tube.

CAUTION – It is possible to tighten the adapter clamp to the point that the
tube is damaged or adapter tube sealer is damaged. If there is a leak, try a
different adapter tube sealer before tightening
the adapter clamp.
