TODAY RESIDUES MANAGEMENT HAS THREE MAIN FUNCTIONS:

root penetra on.

A COMPLETE RANGE OF MEDIUM-DUTY SPEED DISK
To comply with these requirements, MASCHIO has designed PRESTO, a complete range
of mounted and semi-mounted medium duty speed discs to mix soil and straw at depths
from 0 to 4 in. Thanks to the large diameter disks, their par cular inclina on, concavity
and the narrow spacing between gangs, soil llage is consistent and fast.

PERFECTLY DESIGNED
DOWN TO THE LAST DETAIL!
EXTREMELY PRECISE
The perfect overlapping between front and rear gangs
guarantees consistent soil mixing without machine
dri . The high clearance frame (22 in) and the narrow
distance between gangs (25 in) improve stubble
incorpora on with low fuel consump on.
AGGRESSIVE INCLINATION
The disc angle of 18° always constant due to its
conical design ensures a con nuous fl ow of soil and
residues from the fi rst to the second gang avoiding
straw bulldozing and clogging.
LARGE AND CONCAVE
PRESTO discs have diameter of 18 or 20 in with a
thickness of 0.2 in. Made in hard boron steel, they
ensure an extremely shallow and intense soil mixing.
This design op mizes working me also with large
amount of residues.
ADJUSTABLE SIDE DISCS (opt.)
Two easily adjustable side discs posi oned on the
front and rear gangs control soil-straw fl ow providing
perfect soil reten on and op mal seed
bed refi nement.

AGRIHUB UNIT
Only special spherical bearings are employed in PRESTO
concave disks. External screw bearing caps and water proof
sealing ensure total protec on against dust and moisture.
Moreover oil-bath lubrica on supports excellent seal and
bearings performance with maintenance-free opera ons;
no need to grease or adjust them!
INDIVIDUALLY SUSPENDED DISCS
Each disks is individually suspended in the frame by
SILENT BLOCKS. The unit is dampened by 4 rubber
elements that guarantee a constant working depth
even on irregular surface. Moreover, the rubber
torsion prevents frame and hub damages when
obstacle collision occurs.
SIMPLE ADJUSTMENTS
The rear rollers stabilize the machine during work and
defi ne the working depth. Working depth could be
easily adjusted by few pins, easily accessible from the
rear gang.
AN EFFICIENT TEAM
The PRESTO speed disks can be combined with
several GASPARDO seed drills by the hydraulic hitch.
The seeding bar is fi xed on the rear roller taking off
the load from the disc gang. This connec on system
maintains the seeding bar always perpendicular to the
soil ensuring a precise seed placement even at high
working speeds.

COMPACT AND STURDY
Available in working widths from 8 to 13 , the mounted-PRESTO is ready for high performance.
Extremely sturdy it is equipped with the well-proven frame of MASCHIO disc harrows range. By
the high tensile steel headstock and the 4x4 in frame, it can be equipped with the heaviest rear
rollers. Mounted-presto requires low li ing capacity and HP (from 80 to 150 HP).

FOLDING PRESTO
THE PERFECT CHOICE FOR LARGE FARMS
PRESTO is available in mounted and semi-mounted version with hydraulic folding frame for working
widths from 13 to 20 . The semi-mounted version taking off the load from the tractor guarantees
safe road transport even with the largest versions (transport width: 10 ). Moreover the rear cart
with large wheels 400/60-15,5 and the air or oil braking systems improve stability. makes safe and
comfortable road transporta on. all individual adjustments (folding/unfolding, li ing of wheels) are
hydraulic and easily made from the cab. Semi-mounted version has cast iron two point hitch (3° ISO
and K700) which makes easy hook-up and gives great versa lity in the fi eld.
