Martin’s versatile LED Stagebar 2 luminaire is bright …yet so much more.
The Stagebar 2 powers out almost 10,000 lumens per meter, and with a tighter field of light 10 times the intensity of the predecessor Stagebar 54™, it’s an extremely bright LED fixture. But that’s just the beginning.
Color choice and consistency
Useful as an LED pixel bar for displaying imagery and video or as a wash luminaire for floodlighting surfaces and stages, the Stagebar 2 offers an outstanding color palette from an RGBAW color system.
A central feature of the Stagebar 2 is the ability to create exceptionally even and consistent colors. Each diode has been color calibrated, guaranteeing standardized brightness and color performance.
Advanced lens design
A new and advanced lens design provides a narrower, more concentrated field of light for better beam control and greater light intensity for overall improved floodlighting capability.
A choice of lens options, which includes an opal diffuser lens for scenic on-camera looks, provides designers with greater beam angle flexibility.
Responsive
Overall responsiveness has been improved for much faster color and intensity control.
Even quieter
In order to ensure the best possible lumen performance and diode longevity, on-demand fans from an automatic heat management system monitor and regulate cooling. In fact, fan noise in the Stagebar 2 has been reduced for the benefit of TV studios and other noise-sensitive environments.
Flexible control
The Stagebar 2 is controlled by industry standard DMX 512-A and is possible via four distinct control modes - RGB, RGBAW, HIS (Hue, Saturation, Intensity), and HS IC (Hue, Saturation, Intensity, Color Temperature). This gives the option of simple control or full comprehensive control when a designer needs it.
The Stagebar 2 also allows for individual pixels or groups of pixels to be controlled for increased design creativity.
Simple setup
The Stagebar 2 is an easy setup. Using 5-pin XLR and PowerCon connectors, it is simple to daisy chain both data and power, saving meters of cable spaghetti, and requires no external power supplies or additional cables and DMX boxes. A floor stand is available as an option.
A battery-powered control menu on each fixture lets users configure and address the units off-site, even when fixtures are not powered up. The mounting system allows for both truss and floor mounting and comes standard with Martin’s Omega bracket. Additionally, cutouts in end profiles make horizontal fixture alignment easy and accurate.
Available in a short (420 mm, 16.5 in) or long (630 mm,
24.8 in) version, the Stagebar 2 is also lightweight at 5.5 or
7.3 kg (12.1 or 16.1 lbs.).
Overall simplicity
Rigorously tested and CE, ETL & CETL approved, the Stagebar 2 is built for simplicity. With an auto sensing switch mode power supply, simple lens and LED access, and an ergonomic construction that makes for fast and easy cleaning, the Stagebar 2 is as trouble-free as LED can be.
Beyond Bright!
The color system mixes red, green, blue, amber and white for an extremely broad palette of colors.
A choice of lens options includes an opal diffuser lens for scenic on-camera looks.
Individual pixel control allows for increased design creativity.
A floor stand is available as an option.
