Q: What if I have an outlet or textured walls? Can I still install the system?
A: Uprights sit 1-5/16" away from back wall to allow for baseboards, outlets, and uneven wall
textures.

holes at each upright location.
Q: How do I measure the space for installation?
A: Will the system be installed in an alcove, reach-in closet, or between two walls? Depending
on the location of your system, you'll need to take the following measurements into
consideration:

The first and most important measurement to consider is your ceiling height. Ensure
you have enough clearance to attach the uprights to the bracket on the wall.
The minimum ceiling height necessary to install The Everyday System is 90” tall.
WILL THE SYSTEM BE THE FOCAL POINT?
If the system will be the main focus of a room, it's helpful to visualize how much space
it will occupy. Use painter's tape to map out an overall width and depth that feels
comfortable in the space. Take into account any door swings or other obstructions that
may impede the functionality of the system.

A: Drawers with soft close technology don’t slam shut — they close automatically with a gentle
push.
