your TP-2100 Thermal Printer.

Safety Instructions
Before putting the device into use, please read with care the information given in this user
manual, which contains important instructions for proper installation, use and maintenance
of the device.
Marsden/the manufacturer shall not be liable for damages arising from failure to heed the
following instructions:
When using electrical components under increased safety requirements, always
comply with appropriate regulations.
Inappropriate installation/use will render the warranty null and void.
Ensure the voltage marked on the power supply unit matches your mains supply.
This device is designed for use indoors.
Observe the permissible ambient temperatures for use.
The printer and power supply should never be operated in a location where either one
can get wet. Personal injury could result.
Only use a genuine Marsden TP-2100 adaptor to power this printer.
Always use high quality Marsden approved paper print roll. The approved product can
be ordered from your dealer or online at www.marsden-weighing.co.uk.
If the printer runs out of paper roll while printing, switch the power off and load a new
paper roll. Power on and press PRINT again.

AC Jack
(Adaptor connector)

Operation Instructions
Connect the AC Adaptor and interface cable. Press the I/O button to power on the printer.
The TP-2100 printer can be connected via the RS-232 port and cable to the Marsden DP3800/DP-3810 Indicator.
Press PRINT.
The TP-2100 will begin printing.

Changing the Print Roll
Open the upper cover and position the paper roll so that it feeds in the right direction.
WARNING: Make sure the paper edge is straight before inserting it into the printer.
Feed the end of the paper roll through the printer cover and close the cover. The printer is
ready to print.

Status indicator does not light
up when power switch is turned
to ON (I) position.
Check the power connections from AC outlet
to the printer power supply.
Status indicator is green, but the
printer will not print (red light
also showing).
Check interface cable connections from
the scale to the printer.
Make sure the top cover is closed and
locked.
Reset the paper roll. Please refer to Changing
the Print Roll (Page 7).
Printer is out of paper. Reload a new print
roll so the printer can continue printing.
Please refer to Changing the Print Roll (Page
7).
Status Indicator is flashing red
continuously.
Voltage overload/too low on printer core.
Allow the printer to cool down. When the
light shows green, the printer can be used
again.
Please also ensure that you are using the
correct adaptor.
Status Indicator is orange.
The printer may be overheating.
Allow the printer to cool down. When the
light shows green, the printer can be used
again.
