MARS Fan Delay/Post
Purge Timers
These MARS solid state timers provide for convenient control
of a variety of functions.
MARS number 32393 is a fixed 2 minute, 24V off-delay timer
that allows the fan to continue to operate after the thermostat
is satisfied to purge the ducts of conditioned air.
MARS numbers 32377, 32378 and 32379 are versatile, high
amp timers which, depending on installation (see connection
diagrams 2 and 3), will perform either on-delay or off-delay
functions. On-delay is especially useful for controlling
unloader valves. Off-delay can be used for fan off-delay, pump
down systems or post purge applications. The off-delay may
also serve an anti-bounce function as a pump flutter bypass
switch.
