Model 453 Definite Purpose Contactors

These compact models for 1-1/2, and 2 pole applications, and new 3 pole models that have been specially designed to accommodate IEC style auxilliaries and overloads.

The compact models feature universal mount bases, taped coils, and combination phillips/ slot head screws. 40 amp compact models feature box lugs and arc covers. All of the GE compact designs feature "no burn" coil design. These are self-protecting coils that meet the Trane specification. The Series 453 GE compact design contactors all meet ARI 780. Some other manufacturer's economy model compact contactors do not meet this rigorous spec. All of this is now available at attractive pricing!
