Refrigeration Motors

Morrill Motors manufactures an electronically commutated motor that
can serve as a drop-in replacement of conventional vertical discharge
51 frame motors in 2-to-16 watt applications. This motor is available in
a 9 watt and a 16 watt version. The ECM line (a line of brushless DC
motors) design allows operating efficiencies up to 3 times that of
standard motors currently in use. This promises substantial energy
savings and potentially fast pay-back on the cost of conversion.

Application Notes:

Motor must be vertical shaft up to 60˚ from vertical for proper

05443 will replace most existing 9-12 watt unit bearing motors

using 8-9” fans with 20-37 degree pitch blades.
