1 INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the Split 812 UHD™!
This HDMI splitter connects one HDMI source (Blu-ray player, digital TV
set-top box, game console, etc.) with two screens (HDTV, projector or even
an AV amplifier). Unlike ordinary HDMI splitters, the Split 812 UHD™ can
simultaneously display two different video resolutions. This allows you to
enjoy Ultra HD optimally, without having to replace all of your other
equipment. Suitable for 4k2k Ultra HD, 1080p Full HD and all 3D formats.
Marmitek products are manufactured with the utmost precision and are of

x Split and scale your HDMI signal to a 2nd (Ultra) HDTV or projector.
x Enables playing video and audio from your HDMI device (Digital TV
Decoder, Blu-ray player or HDD recorder) simultaneously on 2 screens.
x Continue to use your non-Ultra HD-enabled equipment*, simply by
using the unique automatic output scaling feature, which prevents it
from switching back to a lower resolution.
x The Auto Scaling feature automatically detects the highest possible
resolution of your display, and can simultaneously display two different
video resolutions again (1080p and 4k2k).
x Suitable for 4k2k Ultra HD, 1080p Full HD and all 3D formats.
x Supports HDCP 2.2 for playing protected 4K Ultra HD content.
x Supports High Definition LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD
Master Audio.

4 INSTALLATION
1. Connect the HDMI source to the Split 812 UHD™ ‘input’ via an HDMI
cable.
2. Connect the HDMI screens to the Split 812 UHD™ ‘output’ via HDMI
cables.
3. Connect the power adapter to the Split 812 UHD™ and plug into the
socket.
Tip for installation:
Only use High Speed HDMI® certified cables for the best picture and sound
quality. Do not use much force to connect or disconnect the HDMI cables
otherwise they may become damaged.
5 USE
On both outputs, the Split 812 UHD™ detects the highest resolution
possible for the connected HDMI screens. The automatic scaling function
selects the highest resolution possible for each HDMI output, prevents
compatibility issues and ensures the highest possible image quality.

PLEASE NOTE:
3D resolutions cannot be adapted to 4k2k, but will be displayed unchanged
on both HDMI outputs.
6 FAQ
No (or bad) image and sound
If you see a bad image or no image at all after connecting the HDMI splitter,
try to establish what the problem is by connecting your devices, one by one,
to your screen (TV, monitor or projector). This will allow you to establish
whether the problem lies in the HDMI sources, the HDMI cables, the HDMI
splitter or the screen. HDMI equipment that has not been tested and
certified by ATC (Authorized Test Centers) may cause image and sound
problems.
x Check whether the Split 812 UHD™ power adapter is connected and
plugged in;
x Only use High Speed HDMI® certified cables for the best picture and
sound quality;
x Do not use HDMI cables that are longer than specified in the technical
data;
x Check whether the HDMI cables and/or connectors are damaged;
x Both the HDMI source as well as your screen must fully support HDMI;
x Check whether your HDMI sources and screen support HDCP (High-
bandwidth Digital Content Protection).
No proper 3D picture
• Check whether the HDMI source has been set to 3D and/or that this is
set to automatic.
• Both the HDMI source as well as the HD screen must support the same
3D formats.
• Check whether the proper 3D picture is reproduced by directly
connecting the HDMI source to the screen with an HDMI cable.

1 EINFÜHRUNG
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Erwerb des Split 812 UHD™!
Dieser HDMI Splitter verbindet eine HDMI Quelle (Blu-Ray Player, digitaler
TV Decoder, Spielkonsole usw.) mit zwei Bildschirmen (HDTV, -Projektor
oder sogar AV-Verstärker). Im Gegensatz zu normalen HDMI Splittern
kann der Split 812 UHD™ zwei verschiedene Videoauflösungen zugleich
wiedergeben. Sie können somit die Vorteile von Ultra HD optimal nutzen
ohne all Ihre anderen Geräte ersetzen zu müssen. Geeignet für 4k2k Ultra
HD, 1080p Full HD und alle 3D Daten.
Marmitek Produkte werden mit großer Sorgfalt hergestellt und sind von

x Spalten oder verbessern Sie Ihr HDMI Signal zu einem zweiten (Ultra)
HDTV oder -Projektor.
x Ermöglicht es, Bild und Ton Ihres HDMI Geräts (Digital TV Decoder,

4 INSTALLATION
1. Schließen Sie die HDMI Quelle über ein HDMI Kabel an den “Input“
des Split 812 UHD™.
2. Schließen Sie die HDMI Schirme (HDTV oder HD Projektor) über HDMI
Kabel an den “Output” des Split 812 UHD™.
3. Schließen Sie den Speisungsadapter an den Split 812 UHD™ an und
verbinden Sie diesen mit der Steckdose.
Tipps zur Installation:
Verwenden Sie zum Erhalt einer optimalen Bild- und Tonqualität
ausschließlich High Speed HDMI® zertifizierte Kabel. Verwenden Sie wenig
Kraft, um die HDMI Kabel anzuschließen oder loszukoppeln; diese könnten
sonst Schäden erleiden.
5 ANWENDUNG
Der Split 812 UHD™ erkennt an beiden Ausgängen die höchstmögliche
Auflösung der angeschlossenen HDMI Bildschirme.. Die
Autoskalierungsfunktion erkennt die höchstmögliche Auflösung pro HDMI
Ausgang, begegnet Kompatibilitätsproblemen und gewährleistet optimale
Bildqualität..
Was sind die Möglichkeiten?
x Sie empfangen eine Ultra HD Quelle (4k2k) auf einem normalen HDTV
(1080p)

ACHTUNG:
3D Auflösungen können nicht auf 4k2k abgestimmt werden, sondern
werden auf beiden HDMI Ausgängen unverändert wiedergegeben.
6 HÄUFIG GESTELLTE FRAGEN
Kein (oder schlechtes) Bild und Ton
Wenn Sie nach dem Anschließen des HDMI Splitters kein, oder ein
schlechtes Bild empfangen, versuchen Sie dann die Geräte Stück für Stück
an Ihren Schirm anzuschließen (TV, Monitor oder Projektor), um zu sehen,
wo das Problem liegt. Auf diese Art können Sie ermitteln ob es an den
HDMI Quellen, den HDMI Kabeln, dem HDMI Splitter oder dem Schirm
liegt. Nicht von ATC (Authorized Test Centers) getestete und zertifizierte
HDMI Geräte können Bild- und Tonprobleme verursachen.
x Prüfen Sie, ob der Speisungsadapter des Split 812 UHD
angeschlossen und mit der Steckdose verbunden ist.
x Verwenden Sie zum Erhalt einer optimalen Bild- und Tonqualität
ausschließlich High Speed HDMI® zertifizierte Kabel.
x Verwenden Sie keine HDMI Kabel, die länger sind als in den
technischen Daten aufgeführt.
x Überprüfen Sie die HDMI Kabel und/oder Anschlüsse auf

Auflösungen unterstützen.
x Überprüfen Sie, ob 3D korrekt wiedergegeben wird, indem Sie die
HDMI Quelle mit einem HDMI Kabel direkt an den HD Bildschirm
anschließen.

1 INTRODUCTION
Félicitations pour l'achat du Split 812 UHD™ !
Ce répartiteur HDMI relie une seule source HDMI (lecteur Blu-ray, décodeur
TV numérique, console de jeux, etc.) avec deux écrans (HDTV, projecteur
HD ou même un amplificateur AV). Contrairement aux répartiteurs HDMI
ordinaires le Split 812 UHD™ peut afficher simultanément deux résolutions
vidéo différentes. Vous pouvez ainsi profiter de façon optimale de l'Ultra HD
sans avoir besoin de remplacer tous vos autres appareils. Compatible avec
Ultra HD 4k2k, 1080p Full HD et tous les formats 3D.

4 INSTALLATION
1. Raccordez la source HDMI à l’entrée du Split 812 UHD™ par un câble
HDMI.
2. Raccordez les écrans HDMI à la sortie de Split 812 UHD™ par les
câbles HDMI.
3. Raccordez l’adaptateur d’alimentation au Split 812 UHD™ et branchez
la prise.
Tuyau pour l’installation :
Utilisez uniquement des câbles certifiés High Speed HDMI® pour la
meilleure qualité de l'image et du son. N’utilisez pas de force pour raccorder
ou débrancher les câbles HDMI, ceux-ci risquent alors d’être abîmés.

Le Split 812 UHD™ détecte sur les deux sorties la résolution la plus élevée
possible des écrans HDMI connectés. La fonction auto scaling (mise à

Son ou image inexistants (ou mauvais)
Si après avoir raccordé le répartiteur HDMI l’image est mauvaise ou
inexistante, essayez de tracer le problème en raccordant les appareils un
par un à votre écran (télévision, moniteur ou projecteur). Ainsi vous pouvez
déterminer si le problème est causé par les sources HDMI, les câbles
HDMI, le répartiteur HDMI ou l’écran. Les appareils HDMI n’ayant pas été
soumis à un test et certifiés par ATC (Authorized Test Centers) peuvent
causer des problèmes de son ou d’image.
x Contrôlez que l’adaptateur d’alimentation de Split 812 UHD soit
raccordé et branché.
x Utilisez uniquement des câbles certifiés High Speed HDMI® pour la

Este Splitter HDMI conecta una fuente HDMI (reproductor Blu-ray,
decodificador de TV digital, consola de videojuegos etc.) con dos pantallas

3. Conecta el adaptador de alimentación al Split 812 UHD™ y enchúfalo.

No imagen y sonido o mala imagen y sonido
Si después de haber conectado el splitter HDMI tiene mala imagen o
sonido, por favor conecta individualmente los aparatos a la pantalla
(televisión, pantalla o proyector) para encontrar la origen del problema. De
esta manera puede determinar si el problema tiene que ver con las fuentes
HDMI, los cables HDMI, el splitter HDMO o la pantalla. Aparatos HDMI no
comprobados y certificados por los ATC (Authorized Test Centers) pueden
causar problemas de imagen y sonido.
x Controla si el adaptador de alimentación del Split 812 UHD está
conectado y enchufado.

Questo splitter HDMI collega una sorgente HDMI (lettore Blu-ray, decoder
TV digitale, console videogiochi, ecc.) a due schermi (TV o proiettore HD, o

6 DOMANDE FREQUENTI
Mancano l'immagine e il suono (o sono di cattiva qualità)
Nel caso che dopo il collegamento dello splitter HDMI manchi l'immagine o
sia di cattiva qualità, cercate di risolvere il problema collegando uno per uno
i dispositivi al vostro monitor (TV, schermo o proiettore). In tal modo potete
determinare se il problema si trova nelle fonti HDMI, nei cavi HDMI, nello
splitter HDMI o nel monitor. I dispositivi HDMI non collaudati e certificati
dagli ATC (Authorized Test Centers) possono causare problemi di
immagine e suono.
x Controllate se l’adattore di alimentazione dello Split 812 UHD™ è stato
collegato e nella presa di corrente.
x Per la migliore qualità di immagini e suono usare solo cavi HDMI High
Speed® certificati.
x Non usate cavi HDMI più lunghi di quanto indicato nei dati tecnici.
x Controllate se i cavi e/o le spine HDMI non sono stati danneggiati.
x Sia la fonte HDMI che il vostro monitor devono supportare interamente
HDMI.
x Controllate se le vostre fonti HDMI e monitor supportano la protezione

1 INTRODUCTIE
Gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van de Marmitek Split 812 UHD™!
Deze HDMI splitter verbindt één HDMI bron (Blu-ray speler, digitale TV
decoder, game console enz.) met twee schermen (HDTV, -projector of zelfs
een AV versterker). In tegenstelling tot gewone HDMI splitters kan de Split
812 UHD™ gelijktijdig twee verschillende video resoluties weergeven.
Hierdoor kunt u optimaal genieten van Ultra HD zonder al uw overige
apparatuur te moeten vervangen. Geschikt voor 4k2k Ultra HD, 1080p Full
HD en alle 3D formaten.
De producten van Marmitek worden met grote zorgvuldigheid gemaakt en

x Splits en scale uw HDMI signaal naar een 2de (Ultra) HDTV of –
projector.
x Maakt het mogelijk om beeld en geluid van uw HDMI apparaat (Digitale
TV Decoder, Blu-ray speler of HDD recorder) gelijktijdig te tonen op 2
schermen.
x Blijf ook uw niet Ultra HD geschikte apparatuur* gewoon gebruiken

anders terugschakelen naar een lagere resolutie.

4 INSTALLATIE
1. Sluit de HDMI bron aan op de “input” van de Split 812 UHD™ via een
HDMI kabel.
2. Sluit de HDMI schermen aan op de “output” van de Split 812 UHD™
via HDMI kabels.
3. Sluit de voedingsadapter aan op de Split 812 UHD™ en steek de
stekker in het stopcontact.
Tip bij installatie:
Gebruik uitsluitend High Speed HDMI® gecertificeerde kabels voor de beste
beeld- en geluidskwaliteit. Gebruik weinig kracht om de HDMI kabels aan te
sluiten of los te koppelen, deze kunnen hierdoor beschadigd raken.
5 GEBRUIK
De Split 812 UHD™ detecteert op beide uitgangen de hoogst mogelijke
resolutie van de aangesloten HDMI schermen. De automatische scaling
functie selecteert de hoogst mogelijke resolutie per HDMI uitgang, voorkomt
compatibiliteitsproblemen en zorgt voor de hoogst mogelijke beeld kwaliteit.

LET OP:
3D resoluties kunnen niet worden aangepast naar 4k2k maar worden
ongewijzigd op beide HDMI uitgangen weergegeven.
6 VEEL GESTELDE VRAGEN
Geen (of slecht) beeld en geluid
Indien u slecht of geen beeld ervaart na het aansluiten van de HDMI splitter,
probeer dan het probleem te achterhalen door de apparaten één voor één
aan te sluiten op uw scherm (TV, monitor of projector). Op deze manier kunt
u bepalen of het probleem zich bevindt in de HDMI bronnen, de HDMI
kabels, de HDMI splitter of het scherm. HDMI apparaten die niet door ATC
(Authorized Test Centers) getest en gecertificeerd zijn kunnen beeld en
geluidsproblemen veroorzaken.
x Controleer of de voedingsadapter van de Split 812 UHD™ is
aangesloten en in het stopcontact zit.
x Gebruik uitsluitend High Speed HDMI® gecertificeerde kabels voor de
beste beeld- en geluidskwaliteit.
x Gebruik geen HDMI kabels die langer zijn dan gespecificeerd in de
technische gegevens
x Controleer of de HDMI kabels en/ of connectoren niet beschadigd zijn
x Zowel de HDMI bron als uw scherm dient HDMI volledig te
ondersteunen
x Controleer of uw HDMI bronnen en scherm de kopieerbeveiliging
HDCP (Highbandwidth Digital Content Protection) ondersteunen.
Geen correcte 3D weergave
x Controleer of de HDMI bron is ingesteld om 3D weer te geven en/ of
dat deze op automatisch staat.
x Zowel de HDMI bron als uw HD scherm moet dezelfde 3D formaten
ondersteunen.
x Controleer of 3D correct wordt weergegeven door de HDMI bron direct
op het HD scherm aan te sluiten met een HDMI kabel.
