3.1 Introduction

Congratulations on your purchase of the Marmitek Connect 620 UHD 2.0™! It allows you to use 1 cable to connect 4 HDMI sources to your TV, without any loss of signal or encryption. It's ideal when your TV doesn't have enough HDMI inputs, or if you want to connect the devices to your TV using just one cable. Examples of HDMI sources are game consoles such as a PlayStation or Xbox, Bluray players, digital TV decoders and all other HDMI devices. The Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ supports Ultra HD (4k), Full HD (1080p) and all 3D formats, making it suitable for all your existing and future equipment. All our products are designed and manufactured to the highest quality requirements. Please read this manual first and follow the instructions in order to fully enjoy the possibilities of this product.

3.3 HDMI properties

4 Getting started

4.1 Installation tips

x Turn off all devices (TV and HDMI sources) before

connecting them to the Connect 620 UHD 2.0™. If a device cannot be turned off, please remove the plug from the socket.

x Only use High Speed HDMI® certified cables for the best

picture and sound quality. Using too much force to connect or disconnect the HDMI cables may damage them.

x Please be careful when connecting your HDMI cables. These

damage easily.

4.2 Installation

1. Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI sources (such as a game console, Blu-ray player or digital TV decoder) to the HDMI ports marked "Input".

2. Use an HDMI cable to connect the TV to the HDMI port marked "Output".

3. Connect the power adapter to the "DC 5V" and insert the plug into the socket.

4. Pull the plastic strip from the remote control's battery compartment to activate the battery and remove the protective film from the top.

The Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ allows you to choose which HDMI source is displayed on the TV. If you turn on one of the HDMI sources, it will automatically switch to the correct input. If multiple HDMI sources are turned on, the Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ will automatically switch to the HDMI source that was activated last.

To deactivate or reactivate automatic switching, press the input selection button on the remote control for 3 seconds. Input lights 3 and 4 will light up briefly to confirm. If you want to manually select another HDMI source, repeatedly press the input selection button on the remote control briefly until you arrive at the right input, or use the direct input selection buttons (IN1 to IN4) to switch to the required input directly. Alternatively, you can use the "Select" button at the front of the Connect 620 UHD 2.0™.

Note: Automatic switching must be supported by the HDMI source. If it is not supported, you should manually select the appropriate HDMI source.

No (or poor) image and sound

If you experience poor or no picture after connecting the HDMI switcher, please try to identify the problem by connecting the devices to your screen (TV, monitor or projector) one by one. This allows you to determine whether the problem is with the HDMI sources, the HDMI cables, the HDMI switcher or the screen.

x Make sure the power adapter is connected and plugged in. x For the best picture and sound quality, only use High Speed

HDMI® certified cables.

x Do not use HDMI cables longer than those specified in the

technical data.

x Check the HDMI cables and/or connectors for damage. x Both the HDMI source and your screen should fully support

HDMI.

x Check that your HDMI sources and screen support HDCP

Incorrect 3D display

x Please check whether the HDMI source is set to display 3D

3.1 Einführung

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Erwerb Ihres Marmitek Connect 620 UHD 2.0™! Sie können 4 HDMI Quellen mit 1. Kabel an Ihren Fernseher anschließen, ohne jeglichen Signal- oder Verschlüsselungsverlust. Ideal, wenn Ihr Fernseher zu wenig HDMI Eingänge hat oder wenn Sie die Geräte mit nur 1. Kabel an Ihren Fernseher anschließen möchten. Beispiele von HDMI Quellen sind: Spielcomputer wie PlayStation und XBox, Blu-Ray-Player, digitaler TV Decoder und alle anderen HDMI Geräte. Der Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ unterstützt Ultra HD (4k), Full HD (1080p) und alle 3D Formate und ist somit für alle heutigen und zukünftigen Geräte geeignet. Alle von Marmitek entwickelten und hergestellten Produkte entsprechen den höchsten Qualitätsanforderungen. Lesen Sie diese Anleitung bitte sorgfältig durch und befolgen Sie die Anweisungen, um die Möglichkeiten dieses Produkts optimal nutzen zu können.

4 Los geht’s

4.1 Bevor Sie beginnen

x Schalten Sie alle Geräte (Fernseher und HDMI Quellen)

bevor Sie diese an den Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ anschließen zunächst aus. Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, falls diese nicht ausgeschaltet werden können.

x Verwenden Sie zum Erhalt einer optimalen Bild- und

Tonqualität ausschließlich High Speed HDMI® zertifizierte Kabel. Verwenden Sie wenig Kraft, um die HDMI Kabel anzuschließen oder loszukoppeln; diese könnten sonst beschädigen.

x Lassen Sie während des Anschließens Ihrer HDMI Kabel

Vorsicht walten. Diese können schnell beschädigen.

4.2 Installation

1. Schließen Sie die HDMI Quellen (wie Spielkonsole, Blu-Ray Player oder digitaler TV Decoder) mit einem HDMI Kabel an die HDMI Anschlüsse mit der Bezeichnung “Input“ an.

2. Schließen Sie den TV mit einem HDMI Kabel an den HDMI Anschluss mit der Bezeichnung “Output” an.

3. Schließen Sie den Speisungsadapter an den “DC 5V“ an und verbinden Sie diesen mit der Steckdose.

4. Ziehen Sie den Plastikstreifen aus dem Batteriefach der Fernbedienung, um die Batterie zu aktivieren und entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie an der Oberseite.

5 Von Hand oder automatisch schalten

Input Auswahl

Mit dem Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ wählen Sie, welche HDMI Quelle auf dem Fernseher wiedergegeben wird. Wenn Sie eine der HDMI Quellen einschalten, wird diese automatisch zum richtigen Eingang schalten. Sind mehrere HDMI Quellen eingeschaltet, so wird der Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ automatisch zur letztmals aktiv gewesenen HDMI Quelle schalten.

Zur Deaktivierung des automatischen Schaltens halten Sie die Input Auswahltaste auf der Fernbedienung 3 Sekunden lang fest. Ihre Wahl wird durch kurzes Aufleuchten der Inputleuchte 3 und 4 bestätigt. Möchten Sie von Hand eine andere HDMI Quelle auswählen, dann drücken Sie die Input Auswahltaste an der Fernbedienung stets kurz, bis Sie die entsprechende Input Auswahl gefunden haben oder Sie nutzen die Sofort- Input Auswahltasten (IN1 bis IN4), um gleich zum gewünschten Input zu schalten. Sie können dazu

auch die “Select” Taste an der Vorderseite des

Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ verwenden.

Bemerkung: Automatisches Schalten muss durch die HDMI Quelle unterstützt werden. Wird dieses nicht unterstützt, müssen Sie selbst die entsprechende HDMI Quelle selektieren.

Kein (oder schlechtes) Bild und Ton

Wenn Sie nach dem Anschließen des HDMI Switch kein, oder ein schlechtes Bild empfangen, versuchen Sie dann die Geräte Stück für Stück an Ihren Schirm anzuschließen (TV, Monitor oder Projektor), um zu sehen, wo das Problem liegt. Auf diese Art können Sie ermitteln ob es an den HDMI Quellen, den HDMI Kabeln, dem HDMI Switch oder dem Schirm liegt. x Überprüfen Sie, ob der Speisungsadaptor angeschlossen ist

und sich in der Steckdose befindet.

x Verwenden Sie zum Erhalt einer optimalen Bild- und

Tonqualität ausschließlich High Speed HDMI® zertifizierte Kabel.

x Verwenden Sie keine HDMI Kabel, die länger sind als in den

technischen Daten aufgeführt.

x Überprüfen Sie die HDMI Kabel und/oder Anschlüsse auf

Beschädigungen.

x Sowohl die HDMI Quelle wie Ihr Bildschirm muss HDMI

vollständig unterstützen.

x Prüfen Sie, ob Ihre HDMI Quellen und Bildschirm das

Verschlüsselungssystem HDCP 2.2 (Highbandwidth Digital Content Protection) unterstützen.

x Überprüfen Sie, ob die HDMI Quelle auf 3D Wiedergabe

eingestellt und/oder ob diese auf automatisch eingestellt ist.

Idéal si votre téléviseur n'a pas suffisamment d'entrées HDMI ou si vous souhaitez connecter les appareils à votre téléviseur avec un seul câble. Exemples de sources HDMI: consoles de jeux telles que PlayStation et Xbox, lecteur Blu-ray, Décodeur TV Numérique et tous les autres appareils HDMI. Le Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ est compatible avec Ultra HD (4k), Full HD (1080p) et tous les formats 3D et convient de ce fait pour tous vos appareils existants et futurs. 4.1 Conseils d'installation

x Eteignez tous les appareils (téléviseur et sources HDMI)

avant de les connecter au Connect 620 UHD 2.0™. S'il n'est pas possible de les éteindre, débranchez la prise de courant.

x Utilisez uniquement des câbles certifiés HDMI® High Speed

pour obtenir la meilleure qualité d'image et de son. Ne forcez pas pour connecter ou déconnecter les câbles HDMI, autrement cela pourrait les endommager.

x Soyez prudent lorsque vous connectez les câbles HDMI. Ils

peuvent être facilement endommagés.

4.2 Installation

1. Connectez les sources HDMI (telles que console de jeux,

lecteur Blu-ray ou décodeur TV numérique) avec un câble HDMI sur les ports HDMI avec l'inscription “Input”.

2. Connectez le téléviseur avec un câble HDMI sur le port

HDMI avec l'inscription “Output”.

3. Connectez l'adaptateur secteur sur “DC 5V” et branchez la

fiche dans la prise de courant.

4. Retirez la languette de plastique du compartiment à pile de la

télécommande afin d'activer la pile et enlevez le film protecteur de la partie supérieure.

Le Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ vous permet de choisir quelle source HDMI sera affichée sur le téléviseur. Lorsque vous branchez

l’une des sources HDMI celle-ci se connectera automatiquement sur l’entrée correcte. Si plusieurs sources HDMI sont branchées le

Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ se connectera automatiquement sur la dernière source HDMI active.

Pour désactiver ou réactiver la commutation automatique,

appuyez pendant 3 secondes sur le bouton de sélection d’entrée de la télécommande. Les voyants d’entrée 3 et 4

s'allument brièvement pour confirmer. Si vous souhaitez sélectionner manuellement une autre source HDMI, appuyez alors brièvement sur le bouton de sélection d'entrée de la télécommande jusqu'à ce que vous ayez atteint l'entrée correcte ou utilisez les

boutons de sélection d’entrée directe (IN1 à IN4)

pour passer directement à l'entrée souhaitée. A cet effet vous pouvez également utiliser le bouton “Select” sur la face avant du Connect 620 UHD 2.0™.

Remarque : la commutation automatique doit être supportée par la source HDMI. Si celle-ci n’est pas supportée, vous devez sélectionner vous-même la bonne source HDMI.

Pas d'image (ou image de mauvaise qualité) ni de son

Si après avoir connecté le commutateur HDMI vous n'avez pas d'image ou l'image est de mauvaise qualité, essayez de trouver la cause du problème en connectant les appareils l'un après l'autre à votre écran (téléviseur, moniteur ou projecteur). Vous pourrez ainsi déterminer si le problème provient des sources HDMI, des câbles HDMI, du commutateur HDMI ou de l'écran. x Assurez-vous que l'adaptateur secteur soit connecté et

branché dans la prise de courant.

x Utilisez uniquement des câbles certifiés HDMI® High Speed

Fuentes HDMI son entre otros: videoconsolas como Playstation y Xbox, reproductores Blu-Ray, decodificadores digitales de TV y todos los demás dispositivos HDMI. 4 Primeros pasos

4.1 Consejos para la instalación

x Aapaga todos los dispositivos (TV y fuentes HDMI) antes de

conectarlos con el Connect 620 UHD 2.0™. Si no se pueden apagar, desenchufa el cable de la toma de corriente.

x Usa exclusivamente cables certificados para High Speed

HDMI® para recibir una calidad superior de imagen y sondido. Conecta y desconecta los cables HDMI con mucho cuidado para no dañarlos.

x Tenga cuidado con la conexión de los cables HDMI, se

estropean fácilmente.

4.2 Instalación

1. Conecta las fuentes HDMI (como consola de videojuegos,

reproductor Blu-ray o decodificador de TV digital) con los

puertos HDMI indicados como “input” empleando un cable

HDMI.

2. Conecta el TV con el puerto HDMI indicado como “output”

empleando un cable HDMI.

3. Conecta el adaptador de alimentación con el “DC 5V” y

enchúfelo.

4. Quita la cinta de plástico del compartimento de la pila del

mando a distancia para activar la pila. A continuación quita la cinta protectora de la cara superior.

El Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ le ofrece la posibilidad de elegir la fuente HDMI cuyo contenido quiere reproducir. Cuando se enciende una de las fuentes, el dispositivo cambia automáticamente a la entrada correspondiente. Cuando están encendidas varias fuentes a la vez, el Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ cambia automáticamente a la fuente HDMI que fue activada más recientemente.

Para desactivar o activar la opción de conmutar automáticamente, mantenga pulsado el botón de selección de input en el mando a distancia durante 3 segundos. Las lamparas de Input 3 y 4 resplandecen brevemente para confirmar la acción. Si desea seleccionar manualmente otra fuente HDMI, pulsa el botón de input en el mando a distancia brevemente hasta que llegue al input deseado o usa los botones de selección directa de input (IN1 hasta IN4). También puede

usar el botón “Select” en la frente del Connect 620 UHD 2.0™.

Nota: es necesario que la fuente HDMI soporte la conmutación automática. Si no es el caso, tiene que seleccionar la fuente HDMI manualmente.

No hay imagen y sonido o son de calidad inferior

Cuando no hay imagen después de haber conectado el Conmutador HDMI o cuando la imagen es de calidad inferior, intenta encontrar la causa conectando cada dispositivo individualmente con la pantalla (TV, monitor o proyectór). De esta manera se detecta si el problema es causado por las fuentes HDMI, los cables HDMI, el conmutador HDMI o la pantalla.

x Controla si el adaptador de alimentación está enchufado. x Emplea exclusivamente cables certificados de High Speed

HDMI® para una calidad superior de imagen y sonido.

x No emplea cables HDMI más largos que indicado en las

especificaciones de los datos técnicos.

x Controla si ninguno de los cables y/o conectores está

dañado.

x Es necesario que tanto la fuente HDMI como las pantallas

son compatibles con el HDMI.

3.1 Introduzione

Congratulazioni per l’acquisto del Marmitek Connect 620 UHD 2.0™! E’ possibile collegare 4 sorgenti HDMI tramite 1 cavo al televisore,

senza perdita di segnale o crittografia. Ideale se il televisore non dispone di abbastanza ingressi HDMI o per collegare le apparecchiature con un solo cavo al televisore. Esempi di sorgenti HDMI: console videogiochi come Playstation e Xbox, lettore Bluray, decoder TV digitale e tutte le altre apparechiature HDMI. Il Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ supporta Ultra HD (4k), Full HD (1080p) e tutti i formati 3D ed è adatto a tutte le apparecchiature esistenti e future. Tutti i nostri prodotti sono stati progettati e fabbricati secondo i più elevati standard qualitativi. Prima si prega di leggere con attenzione questo manuale e seguire le istruzioni per godere appieno le potenzialità di questo prodotto.

4 Per iniziare

4.1 Consigli per l’installazione

x Prima spegnere tutte le apparecchiature (TV e sorgenti

HDMI) e poi collegarle al Connect 620 UHD 2.0™. Quando non è possibile spegnerle, rimuovere la spina dalla presa.

x Utilizzare solo i cavi omologati High Speed HDMI® per la

migliore qualità audio e video. Utilizzare poca forza per collegare o scollegare i cavi HDMI di modo che non saranno danneggiati.

x Fare attenzione quando si collegano i cavi HDMI. Questi

possono essere facilmente danneggiati.

4.2 Installazione

1. Collegare le sorgenti HDMI (come p.e. console videogiochi,

lettore Blu-ray o decoder tv digitale), tramite un cavo HDMI, alle porte HDMI indicate con “Input”.

2. Collegare il televisore, tramite un cavo HDMI, alla porta

HDMI indicata con “Output”.

3. Collegare l’adattatore di alimentazione al “DC 5V” ed inserire

la spina nella presa.

4. Tirare la striscia di plastica dal vano batterie del telecomando

per attivare la batteria e togliere la pellicola protettiva dalla parte superiore.

Selezionare con il Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ quale sorgente HDMI è visualizzata sul televisore. Quando si accende una delle sorgenti HDMI bronnen, questa commuterà automaticamente

all’apposito ingresso. Se sono state accese più sorgenti HDMI, il

Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ passerà automaticamente alla sorgente HDMI attivata per ultimo.

Per la disattivazione o riattivazione della commutazione

automatica, tenere premuto per 3 secondi il selettore d’ingresso

sul telecomando. Le spie degli ingressi 3 e 4 si accendono brevemente per conferma. Se si desidera selezionare manualmente

un’altra sorgente HDMI, si

deve sempre premere brevemente il selettore sul telecomando, fino a

raggiungere l’apposito ingresso, oppure usare i selettori d’ingresso diretti (IN1 - IN4), per commutare direttamente all’ingresso desiderato. È

inoltre possibile usare il selettore sul lato anteriore del Connect 620 UHD 2.0™.

Nota: la commutazione automatica deve essere supportata dalla sorgente HDMI. Se non è supportata questa modalità, si deve selezionare manualmente la corretta sorgente HDMI.

Mancano l'immagine ed il suono o sono di cattiva qualità

Nel caso che dopo il collegamento del commutatore HDMI manchi l'immagine o sia di cattiva qualità, cercare di risolvere il problema collegando uno per uno le apparecchiature allo schermo (televisore, monitor o proiettore). In tal modo è possibile determinare se il problema si trova nelle sorgenti HDMI, nei cavi HDMI, nel commutatore HDMI o nello schermo. x Controllare se l’adattatore di alimentazione è stato collegato

ed inserito nella presa di corrente..

x Per la migliore qualità di immagini e suono usare solo cavi

omologati High Speed HDMI®.

x Non usare cavi HDMI più lunghi di quanto indicato nei dati

tecnici .

x Controllare se i cavi e/o connettori HDMI non sono stati

danneggiati.

x Sia la sorgente HDMI che lo schermo devono supportare

interamente HDMI.

x Controllare se le sorgenti HDMI e lo schermo supportano la

protezione anticopia HDCP 2.2 (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection).

Manca la corretta riproduzione 3D

x Controllare se è stata impostata la sorgente HDMI corretta

2.0™! U kunt 4 HDMI bronnen met 1 kabel aansluiten op uw tv, zonder enig signaal of encryptieverlies. Ideaal wanneer uw tv te weinig HDMI ingangen heeft of wanneer u de apparaten met maar 1 kabel naar uw tv wilt aansluiten. Voorbeelden van HDMI bronnen zijn; spelcomputers zoals Playstation en Xbox, Blu-ray speler, digitale tv decoder en alle overige HDMI apparaten. De Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ ondersteunt Ultra HD (4K), Full HD (1080p) en alle 3D formaten en is daarmee geschikt voor al uw bestaande en toekomstige apparatuur. Al onze producten zijn ontwikkeld en gefabriceerd naar de hoogst mogelijke kwaliteitseisen. 4 Aan de slag

4.1 Tips voor installatie

x Schakel alle apparatuur (tv en HDMI bronnen) eerst uit

voordat u deze aansluit op de Connect 620 UHD 2.0™. Indien deze niet uitgeschakeld kan worden verwijder dan de stekker uit het stopcontact.

x Gebruik uitsluitend High Speed HDMI® gecertificeerde

kabels voor de beste beeld- en geluidskwaliteit.

x Wees voorzichtig tijdens het aansluiten van uw HDMI kabels.

Deze kunnen makkelijk beschadigd raken.

4.2 Installatie

1. Sluit de HDMI bronnen (zoals spelcomputer, Blu-ray speler

of digitale tv decoder) met een HDMI kabel aan op de HDMI poorten waarbij “Input” staat.

2. Sluit de tv met een HDMI kabel aan op de HDMI poort

waarbij “Output” staat.

3. Sluit de voedingsadapter aan op de “DC 5V” en steek de

stekker in het stopcontact.

4. Trek de plastic strip uit het batterijvakje van de

afstandsbediening om de batterij actief te maken en verwijder de beschermfolie van de bovenkant.

5 Schakel handmatig of automatisch

Met de Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ kiest u welke HDMI bron op de tv

wordt weergegeven. Wanneer u één van de HDMI bronnen aanzet zal deze automatisch naar de juiste ingang schakelen. Indien meerdere HDMI bronnen zijn aangezet zal de Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ automatisch naar de laatst actief geworden HDMI bron schakelen.

Om automatisch schakelen te deactiveren of weer te activeren, houdt u de input selectie knop op de afstandsbediening 3 seconden ingedrukt. Input lampje 3 en 4 lichten dan kort op ter bevestiging. Indien u handmatig een andere HDMI bron wilt selecteren dan drukt u de input selectie knop op de afstandsbediening steeds kortstondig in totdat u de juiste input heeft bereikt of u gebruikt de directe input selectie knoppen (IN1 t/m IN4) om direct naar de gewenste input te schakelen. U kunt hiervoor ook de “Select” knop op de voorzijde van de Connect 620 UHD 2.0™ gebruiken.

Opmerking: automatisch schakelen moet ondersteund worden door de HDMI bron. Indien dit niet ondersteund wordt, moet u zelf de juiste HDMI bron selecteren.

Geen (of slecht) beeld en geluid

Indien u slecht of geen beeld ervaart na het aansluiten van de HDMI switcher, probeer dan het probleem te achterhalen door de apparaten één voor één aan te sluiten op uw tv of projector. Op deze manier kunt u bepalen of het probleem zich bevindt in de HDMI bronnen, de HDMI kabels, de HDMI switcher of de tv. x Controleer of de voedingsadapter is aangesloten en in het
