2. How To Use:
Pull out the plastic battery tab (2. A)

Insert Stake 
Place the Solar LED Cross Light in a well lit area. During the day, the 
Solar LED Cross converts sunlight into electricity and recharges the 
batteries. At night, the LED will turn on automatically and provide 
approximately 6-8 hours of light from a full day of sunlight.

Mounting Options:
1. Place the base on a flat surface
2. Staked the light into the ground
A. Step 1-- Assemble the stand by inserting the stake (Part B) into the bottom of the base (2. B).
  B. Step 2-- Carefully insert the pointed end of the stake (Part B) into the ground.
3. Replace The Batteries:
There are two rechargeable batteries (2 AA, 500 mAh Ni-Mh rechargeable) included in the Solar LED Cross. Replace 
only with same battery type. As with all rechargeable batteries, their ability to hold a charge will diminish over time 
and is not fault of the product. When the lighting time becomes shorter than usual, batteries should be replaced.
Step 1 - Remove the (4) rubber feet located on the base of the 
  Solar LED Cross that cover the (4) Philips screws.
Unscrew the base
  Remove the Philips screws.
Step 2 - Open the cover of the battery compartment.
Step 3 - Insert two new rechargeable batteries 
  (2 AA, 500 mAh Ni-Mh rechargeable) ensuring the  
  battery polarity (+/-) is as indicated. Replace battery  
  cover, Philips screws and rubber feet.
4. Battery Caution:
1) Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix 
alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc), or rechargeable 
(Nickel Cadmium) batteries. To avoid leakage or 
explosion, do not put batteries in fire.
2) Remove the batteries if product is to be left 
unused for a long period of time. Clean the battery 
contacts prior to battery installation.
