OPERATIONS MANUAL
CUCKOO CLOCK
FEATURES
1) Clock automatically triggers the Snoopy character and corresponding memorable Peanut’s Linus and Lucy song on the hour. The Snoopy character will extend out of the doors, the Linus and Lucy” song will play, and then Snoopy will retract back into the clock.
Note: If the door does not close completely, please take one of the C size batteries out of battery compartment and put it back in to reset and close the door.
2) This clock has a silence function controlled by a light sensor positioned above the doors. The light sensor automatically deactivates the Snoopy character and turns the song off when the room is dark.
3) A Try Me Button allows the user to activate the Snoopy character and corresponding song at any time. (Located on the right side of the clock)
SETTING THE TIME
1) Insert 2 C and 1 AA size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located in the back of the clock. Make sure that the battery polarity (+/-) is as indicated. (See diagram above)
2) To set desired time, use forefinger to turn the minute hand which is positioned on front of clock.
Be careful not to touch the hour and second hands when setting time.
Note: To protect the clock hands, clock dial and table surface, do not lay the clock face down when inserting the batteries.
ATTACHING THE PENDULUM
1) To unlock the clip, firmly pull it towards the center of the opening in the bottom of the clock. (See diagram above)
2) Fasten the pendulum stem to the clip by sliding the stem into the clip area until it clicks into place. (See diagram above)
HANGING THE CLOCK
The clock has a keyhole on the back to hang it on from a nail or screw that is firmly inserted into the wall. For the pendulum to work properly, the clock must be hung vertically.
Note: The clock with batteries inserted will weigh 2 pounds. Use an appropriate nail or screw to correspond with the clock weight and type of wall.
BATTERY NOTICE
1) Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc, or rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) batteries. To avoid leakage or explosion, do not put batteries in fire.
2) Replace the batteries if the timekeeping becomes erratic, carols become abnormal, or character does not appear on the hour. This may be an indication that batteries are becoming worn out.
3) Remove the batteries if product is to be left unused for a long time. Clean the battery contacts prior to battery installation.
4) Worn batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local guidelines.
