Charging Valet & Coin Counter Instructions
The Charging Valet & Coin Counter is an ingenious bank which electronically counts
every coin as it slips through the slot. It then sums up your total deposit and displays it
on an easy-to-read LCD screen
Installing Batteries
1. Requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included).
2. Battery compartment is located on the underside of the Digital Coin Counter lid.
Remove battery cover. Insert batteries according to polarity (+/-). Bank will power
on once batteries are inserted properly.
Counting Functions
1. The maximum value the LCD screen will display is $9999.99 and the lowest amount it
will display is $0.00.
2. The bank will accept penny, nickel, dime, quarter and dollar coins. The screen will
identify the individual values of each coin as they are inserted. When a coin is
inserted, the screen will flash once displaying the coin value and the bank will
automatically total all coins currently stored inside.
3. For example, if a penny is inserted the screen will flash $0.01 once. If another penny
is inserted, the screen will flash $0.01 once and then display the total of coins as
$0.02. When a quarter is inserted next, the screen will flash $0.25 once and then
display the total of coins as $0.27.
Coin Counter Operation
1. When inserting a coin, make sure to place the coin over the left half of the slot and
push down. Coins will slide in slot easier if inserted in this way.
2. Coins can be removed (withdrawn) from the bank in any denomination by pressing the
corresponding buttons on the lid.
3. For example, the current balance is $20.00 and $2.57 needs to be withdrawn. Press
the $1.00 button twice, the $0.25 button twice, the $0.05 button once, and the $0.01
button twice (or any combination that equals the total withdrawal). The bank will
subtract the denomination that is pressed automatically from the savings. Once all
denominations are entered, $2.57 is deducted from the balance and the LCD screen
displays a remaining balance of $17.43.
4. When a complete withdrawal of all savings is needed, you can remove all the coins
and press the reset button. The digital display will now read $0.00 and the bank is
ready to be filled again.
Notes
The coin counter only identifies valid U.S. currency.
ATTENTION:
Inserting PENNIES AND DIMES too fast may cause sensor to improperly calculate the
correct balance. This is due to their similar size. Please insert coins slowly for
calculating correct balance.
WARNING! CHOKING HAZARD
This product is not a toy and contains small parts not suitable for children under 8 years
of age.
Battery Information
1. Battery power is low when the LCD display is not readable. Change the batteries
immediately if low battery warning signs occur.
2. When changing the batteries, the bank’s memory will only keep the coin value reading
for one (1) minute. Do not press any buttons while changing batteries as this may
cause readout to erase.
3. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc), or
rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) batteries.
4. To avoid leakage or explosion, do not put batteries in fire.
5. Remove the batteries if product is to be left unused for a long time.
6. Clean the battery contacts prior to battery installation.
7. Dispose of batteries properly
