ensure safe and correct usage of this product.

♦ this product reaches high temperatures. Avoid any direct contact with its metallic parts.
♦ this product is designed for indoor use only, for details on maximum ambient temperature. Minimum
distance from flammable objects and use field (angle). Please refer to what indicated on the
product label.
♦ this product must be fitted with a front protection shield (wire guard or safety glass). Should this mot
be supplied as a standard accessory, please make sure you buy it separately and install it before
using the product.
♦ before installing or replacing the lamp disconnect the product from the mains supply. Should the
product not be fitted with a micros witch disconnect or as a standard.
♦ replace the lamp, the protection shields and the lenses (if fitted) if damaged or deformed by heat.
Make sure the lamp and the protection shields are cold before attempting to remove them. To
perform a correct installation of the lamp, please refer to the lamp manufacturers instructions
included in the lamp box.
♦ this product must be fitted with a secondary fixing system such as a safety chain or bond. Should
this mot be supplied as a standard accessory, please make sure you buy it separately and install it
before using the product.
♦ fixing and replacement of any component of this product must be carried out exclusively by
professional personnel and only with original components.

Color Filter:
It is strongly recommended you use only high temperature color filters (gel) in polycarbonate or
similar specifications material.

Installation

This product is fitted with a suspension stirrup rotating around the body of the product. Thus allowing
the product to be installed suspending or standing. The stirrup is fitted with a Φ12mm clear hole for
the attachment of a hook clamp or a stand picot. Make sure the structure you are fixing the product to
can stand the product load.

Lamp:

♦ Should the fixture you have purchased have been delivered without lamp, please refer to the
“compatible lamps” box on the spec sheet relevant to the product you are installing to choose a
proper lamp.
♦ During the installation do not touch the glass-bulbs bare-handed! Please follow the lamp
manufacturer’s notes!
♦ Do not install lamps with a higher wattage! Lamps with a higher wattage generate temperatures the
device was not designed for.
♦ For the installation, you need one lineal R7s Halogen lamp.

Procedure:

Step 1: Move the filter frame from the front of fixture.
Step 2: Unscrew the screw on the front panel, and open the front panel.
Step 3: If replacing the lamp, remove the old lamp from the lamp socket.
Step 3: Place the new lineal R7s Halogen lamp into the device.
Step 4: Close the device, replace the filter frame.
♦ Do not operate this device with opened housing cover!

OPERATION:

♦ After you connected the fixture to the mains, you can control the fixture via your lighting controller.

Maintenance:

To ensure maximum performance of the product, a regular maintenance service should be carried
out. Please make sure the product is cold and disconnected from power supply when doing this.
♦ Clean all reflective parts such as reflectors, mirrors and lenses (if fitted), opening the product, if
necessary.
♦ Check the lamp. The protection shields and the lenses (if fitted) and replace any visibly damaged
component.
♦ Clean air ducts and fans (if fitted) in order to allow proper ventilation activity on the product.
♦ Check internal and external wiring and replace any cable which should be damaged by heat or
mechanical agents.

Connection with the mains:

♦ DANGER TO LIFE! The electric connection must only be carried out by a qualified electrician!
♦ In order to connect the product to the mains, you have to install a power-plug.
♦ The occupation of the connection-cables is as follows:

♦ The earth has to be connected!
♦ Connect the product to the mains with the power-plug.
♦ If the product will be directly connected with the local power supply network, a disconnection switch
with a minimum opening of 3 mm at every pole has to be included in the permanent electrical
installation.
♦ In general, lighting effects should not be connected to dimming-packs.
♦ DANGER TO LIFE! Before taking into operation for the first time, the installation has to be
approved by an expert!
