Technical Specifications
Cleaning
The most important part of your lighting ef fect to keep clean is the lens as this allows the light output to
transmit. This should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. The body of the unit may also be cleaned in the
same way. We recommend internal cleaning be carried out by a fully qualified technician.
Maintenance & Servicing
Work on internal parts should be carried out by a qualified technician. Removal of any covers other than
the lamp replacement cover and screw cap fuseholder is considered a breach of warranty and will not be
covered under any such agreement unless authorized first by the company .
Before beginning operation refer to section on Installing/Replacing Lamps. When connected to the mains
power supply, turn on the circuit breaker the unit should begin to flash.
As the ef
rotary speed control it may be necessary to adjust to suit your mood. 1/4" mono plug allows for linking of
strobes for operation via a strobe controller.
The duty cycle for this ef fect should be no more than 15 minutes on then 15 minutes of

This unit has been designed to be hung. It is recommended that, for safety purposes, your lighting ef
properly mounted using a suitable hanging clamp and safety cable.
Installing / Replacing Lamps
Finally before using, check that the lamp is housed correctly in the lamp holder and that the lamp
replacement cover has been screwed back into place.

1. Turn off and unplug from the electrical outlet and let the lamp cool.
2. Open the rear cover with your screwdriver, then disconnect the 3 wires of the old lamp from the PCB board.
Caution: you must remember the wiring between lamp and PCB board!
3. Gently remove the clear cover on the front of the STROBE via your screwdriver.
4. CAUTION: Do not touch bulb with bare fingers. Oil from fingers will ruin the lamp. Use a clean, dry colth
for replacement of bulb.
5. Gently remove the old lamp from the spring holder.
6. Insert the new lamp tube into the spring holder, and connect the wires of the lamp into the PCB board
according to your memory just now.
7. Reassemble.

Funcionamiento
La unidad dispone de una toma de red adecuada al voltaje que precisa: Si es necesaria
cualquier otra conexión, el esquema es el siguiente:
Tierra: Cable amarillo/verde
Neutro: Cable azul
Fase: Cable marrón
En Usa y Europa, se requiere una clavija de 3 polos con toma de tierra. Este dispositivo
dispone de un magnetotérmico que protege ante cortocircuitos y sobrecargas.
Este efecto ha sido diseñado para funcionar tanto a 120V como a 230V AC y dispone de una
toma de red para su conexión. Compruebe la tensión local y la de la unidad para un perfecto
conexionado.

Antes de comenzar a usar la unidad, diríjase a la sección Instalación/Sustitución de lámpara. Cuando
conecte la unidad, accione el magnetotérmico, la unidad empezará a parpadear. Como el efecto está
controlado por el mando de velocidad, es necesario ajustarlo a su conveniencia. Un jack 1/4” le permite
interconexionar los flashes par el manejo con el controlador.
La unidad ha sido diseñada para poder ser colgada. Se recomienda, por motivos de seguridad, que el
efecto se monta usando el elemento de fijación adecuado y un cable de seguridad.
1. Apague la unidad y desconéctela de la toma de red, dejándola enfriar
2. Abra la tapa trasera con un destornillador, desconecte los 3 cables de la lámpara antigua en la placa
Atención: Recuerde como van conectados estos cables.
3. Retire con cuidado la cubierta del flash con su destornillador.
4. PRECAUCION: No toque la lámpara con los dedos. La grasa en los dedos puede estropear la lámpara
Use un paño seco para sustituir la lámpara.
5. Retire la lámpara antigua con cuidado de su portalámparas
6. Inserte una lámpara nueva y conecte los cables a la placa de acuerde al conexionado previo
7. Vuelva a montar la unidad.
Finalmente, antes de usar la unidad, compruebe que la lámpara está firmemente sujeta y que la tapa
está firmemente colocada.
Lo más importante es mantener limpias las lente que permiten transmitir la luz. Deben ser limpiadas
con un paño suave
La manipulación de los elementos internos de la unidad debe ser llevada a cabo por personal cualificado
La retirada de cualquier otra tapa que no sea la de sustituir la lámpara, se considera un quebranto de la
garantía que no puede ser cubierta salvo previa autorización.
