The reading accuracy improvement of the

continuation code of the Remote Controller.

[PHENOMENON]

A reading leak occurs in the continuation code of the Remote Controller.
(It is especially UP / DOWN of the Volume.)

[REASONS]

The protection circuit operates by Impulse Noise.

[SOLUTION]

1. POS.NO R564 RESISTOR (47K OHM) is changed to RESISTOR 15K OHM +-5% 1/6W (Part no.

00MGD05153160 ) on the VIDEO PCB.

This is “nsp” part, MARANTZ will not supply this part.

[REMARKS]

1. This problem apply to the following serial number.

SR4500/N1S MZ000426000001 to MZ000426000520
SR4500/N1G MZ000426000001 to MZ000426000628

2. This improvement has been done in the production serial number MZ000430xxxxxx and after.

3. The following model has improved from the top of mass production.
SR4500/A1B/A1S, SR4500/N1B, SR4500/U1B/U1S, SR4500/K1G and SR4500/L1G.
