A double pole isolating switch, having contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles,
must be used with a 3 amp fuse fitted.
MOTOR
4 pole single phase induction motor with ball bearings fitted for a long, maintenancefree life and protected by a thermo-auto resetting cut-out approved totally
enclosed for protection against dirt and dust.
Motors are continually rated.

IINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE
MAN RANGE OF INDUCT FANS
The MAN range of induct fans can be fitted anywhere into ducting system and
installed in a vertical or horizontal position.
A special snap-in mounting bracket plus a full range of ducting and accessories are
available separately for easy of installation. Please see our catalogue for full details.
Always try to keep the ducting runs as straight as possible for the best performance.
The fans must be securely fixed to a solid surface.
TYPICAL INSTALLATION
Please dispose of
your fan at your
local civic amenity
site. DO NOT dispose
in domestic waste.
ELECTRICAL SUPPLY
This fan requires a live and neutral supply and if required an earth.
The terminal connections inside the electrical cover are:
1. Earth supply in
2. Neutral supply in
3. Live supply in
WIRING
The fan can either be operated from a separate pullcord switch fitted to the ceiling of
the room or can be connected to the light switch so that the fan wil start when the
light is switched on. A double pole fused spur having a contact separation of at least
3mm in all poles must be used and fitted with a 3 amp fuse, and must be situated
outside any room containing a shower or fixed bath.
IMPORTANT
The fan must not be accessible to any person using either the shower or bath.
