INTRODUZIONE

I pidocchi sono insetti privi di ali che, una volta completamente cresciuti,
hanno circa le dimensioni di un seme di sesamo. I pidocchi non possono
sopravvivere al freddo pertanto si aggrappano ai capelli vicino al cuoio
capelluto grazie al suo calore. Questi parassiti esistono da migliaia di anni
e non sono pericolosi, anche se possono causare prurito al cuoio capelluto.
Fortunatamente ora possono essere completamente eliminati con un
trattamento di dieci minuti.

Il pettine elettrico anti-pediculosi Maniquick è progettato per eliminare
facilmente i pidocchi e prevenirne la diusione ad altri membri della famiglia.
È ecace sui pidocchi e sulle lendini, una volta che esse hanno raggiunto
dimensioni sucienti. Il parassita deve essere di dimensioni sucienti per
venire in contatto simultaneo con due denti del pettine. Questo è più facile
con il pidocchio che in media raggiunge i 2-3 mm di dimensione, ma è più
dicile con la lendine, che in media misura solo 1 mm. Per questo motivo
il pettine elettrico anti-pediculosi Maniquick deve essere utilizzato per
diversi giorni consecutivi, aumentando la possibilità di sradicare le lendini che
crescono di dimensione. Si raccomanda di utilizzare il pettine elettrico anti-
pediculosi Maniquick una o due volte alla settimana per qualche tempo, al
ne di prevenire la reinfestazione.

bambini al di sotto dei 3 anni .

• I bambini devono essere sorvegliati da un adulto durante l’utilizzo di

• Non utilizzare l’apparecchio vicino ad un telefono cellulare, forno a
microonde o televisore .

• Assicurarsi che i capelli siano completamente sciolti

• Prevenire incidenti e danni al pettine tenendolo lontano da indumenti,
setole, li, stringhe, lacci ecc

• Spegnere sempre l’apparecchio quando non è in uso

• Rimuovere la batteria se l’apparecchio non deve essere usato per un
periodo prolungato .

CARATTERISTICHE

Range di tensione variabile

Il pettine elettrico anti-pediculosi Maniquick elimina ecacemente i
pidocchi e le lendini con il suo unico sistema a tensione variabile che ha un
range di 130-180 volt. Mentre è molto ecace nell’uccidere I pidocchi, non è
pericoloso per l’uomo.

Segnali acustici e luminosi

Le diverse funzioni del pettine vengono indicate da segnali acustici. Un suono
ogni tre secondi indica che l’apparecchio è in funzione. Un breve suono
ogni ½ secondo indica il contatto con il parassita. Il bottone del LED On/O
lampeggia per indicare le diverse funzioni e che la batteria è scarica.

Spegnimento automatico

L’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente se non viene utilizzato per 5
minuti, prolungando così la durata della batteria.

Indicatore di batteria scarica

Se la batteria è scarica e non in grado di generare la tensione corretta, il
bottone del LED lampeggerà brevemente per 2 volte e una volta in maniera
prolungata, e verrà emesso un suono di 30 secondi dopo i quali l’apparecchio
si spegnerà automaticamente.

INSTALLAZIONE DELLE BATTERIE

1. Aprire il coperchio del vano batteria sollevandolo (punto “4”).

2. Inserire due batterie AAA, facendo attenzione a rispettare la corretta
polarità (+/-) come indicato sulle batterie e sul vano batteria.
L’inserimento delle batterie con il polo sbagliato può provocare danni
all’apparecchio e rendere nulla la garanzia.

3. Chiudere il coperchio del vano batteria, un suono che indicherà che le
batterie sono state inserite correttamente.

PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE

1. Rimuovere le batterie prima di pulire l’apparecchio

FUNZIONAMENTO

1. Premere il tasto On / O “1” per due secondi per accendere l’apparecchio.
Il LED si accende e viene emesso un suono per tre secondi che indica che
l’apparecchio è pronto per l’uso.

2. Scogliere i capelli e rimuovere eventuali mollette, elastici ecc.

3. Utilizzare il pettine elettrico anti-pediculosi Maniquick come si
farebbe con un pettine normale, assicurandosi che i capelli siano
completamente asciutti.

4. Quando l’apparecchio è in funzione la luce LED si accende e viene
emesso un suono ogni 3 secondi.

5. Quando il pettine viene a contatto con un pidocchio o una lendine il
pettine emette un segnale acustico e il led lampeggia

6. Dopo l’uso, assicurarsi di spegnere l’apparecchio, pulire il pettine con la
spazzolina in dotazione e inserire il coperchio di protezione “2” prima di
riporre l’apparecchio.

7. Una volta che l’apparecchio è spento è possibile avvertire un suono che
indica l’esaurimento della carica elettrica. Il suono smetterà una volta
che l’apparecchio è completamente scarico.

CONDIZIONI DI GARANZIA

1. SANICO Srl, garantisce l’assenza di guasti e difetti meccanici e la com­pletezza del prodotto al momento della vendita.

2. Le riparazione possono essere eettuate solo in Centri di assistenza au­torizzati dalla SANICO Srl o dal Distributore Autorizzato nel Paese in cui
avete acquistato l’apparecchio.

3. La durata del periodo di garanzia sui materiali e sui difetti di
fabbricazione e di funzionamento è pari a 2 anni a decorrere dalla data di
vendita previa osservanza di tutte le indicazioni riportate nelle Istruzioni
di impiego da parte dell’Acquirente. Le obbligazioni di garanzia non
coprono i materiali di consumo: coppe e elettrodi, fasce elastiche, cavi
di collegamento, ecc.

4. I reclami relativi al prodotto dovranno essere presentati direttamente al
centro di assistenza autorizzato. Il centro di assistenza, sulla base di un
accordo con il venditore, è competente a stabilire la causa e la natura
del guasto. Il prodotto sarà sostituito soltanto qualora non possa essere
riparato.

5. Il proprietario provvederà a recapitare il prodotto presso il punto di ac­cettazione per l’assistenza in garanzia secondo le modalità che saranno
comunicate previo contatto telefonico (02/90390038) oppure via e-mail
([e-mail]).

6. Il tempo occorrente per la riparazione in garanzia sarà subordinato alla
gravità del guasto

7. La responsabilità della SANICO Srl ai sensi delle presenti condizioni
di garanzia sarà limitata all’ammontare pagato dall’Acquirente per il
prodotto in oggetto.

La garanzia sul prodotto non si applicherà nei casi seguenti:

• certicato di garanzia compilato in modo erroneo o contraatto; nume­ro di serie (se previsto per il prodotto specico) danneggiato o rimosso;

• assenza di documenti commerciali e nanziari (scontrino scale di cassa,
bolla di accompagnamento merci) atti a comprovare l’acquisto;

• apertura o riparazione del prodotto eseguite dall’Acquirente o da un
centro di assistenza non autorizzato;

• guasti vericatisi a seguito di inosservanza da parte dell’Acquirente delle
norme di impiego, stoccaggio e trasporto del prodotto indicate nella
relativa documentazione tecnico normativa, nel qual caso dovranno
essere specicate le norme eettive della suddetta documentazione
che sono state violate;

• penetrazione di corpi estranei o liquidi all’interno del prodotto;

• presenza sul prodotto di guasti meccanici interni o esterni (incrinature,
segni di caduta, parti scheggiate, ecc.) conseguenti a uso, installazione o
trasporto erronei del prodotto;

• componenti o accessori soggetti a rapida usura (coppe a elettrodi, fasce
elastiche);

• difetti causati da agenti esterni (sporcizia evidente all’esterno e
all’interno, tracce di corrosione);

• guasti dovuti a cause indipendenti dal produttore, quali sbalzi di
tensione nella rete di alimentazione, fenomeni o calamità naturali,
incendi, azioni di animali, insetti, ecc.

• reclami per difetti rilevati dall’Acquirente presentati dopo la scadenza
del periodo di garanzia o di qualsivoglia altro periodo stabilito dalla
Legislazione per la segnalazione di eventuali difetti;

• uso del prodotto da parte dell’Acquirente non per usi personali
(domestici) ma a scopo commerciale per l’ottenimento di un protto.

Modalità di restituzione di un prodotto difettoso

I prodotti difettosi saranno accettati unicamente se puliti e completi,
nell’imballaggio originale, corredati di certicato di garanzia correttamente
compilato e dei documenti commerciali e nanziari (scontrino scale di cassa
del negozio, bolla di accompagnamento) atti a comprovare l’acquisto. Si
prega di voler accompagnare l’apparecchio da una descrizione del problema
riscontrato.

INTRODUCTION

Head Lice are wingless insects which, when full grown, are about the size of a
sesame seed. Head Lice cannot survive the cold so they cling to the hair close
to the scalp for warmth. These parasites have been around for thousands
of years and are harmless, although they can cause severe scalp itching.
Fortunately, they can now be completely eliminated with only a ten minute
treatment.

The Maniquick Electric Lice Comb is designed to easily eradicate Head Lice
and prevent spreading to other family members. It is eective on Head Lice
and on Nits, once they have reached sucient size. The parasite must be of
sucient size to come in simultaneous contact with two teeth of the Comb.
This is easier with the Louse which averages 2-3 mm in size, but is more
dicult with the Nit, which is smaller, averaging only 1mm. For this reason
the Maniquick Electric Lice Comb should be used for several consecutive
days, increasing the chance to eradicate the Nits as they grow in size. It is
recommended that the Maniquick Electric Lice Comb be used one or twice
a week for a period in order to prevent re-infestation.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

It is recommended that you read the User Guide very carefully and comply with
the instructions in order to prevent any accidents or damage to the unit.

• Use the Appliance only as intended and in accordance with the
instructions supplied in the guide

• This Electric Device is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of
children

• This Maniquick Electric Lice Comb should not be used on children
under the age of 3.

• Children should be supervised by an adult when using this device.

• If you have a Pace Maker, Articial Limbs or any electric implant, consult
a physician before using.

• Do not operate this unit within 1 meter of a mobile telephone,
microwave oven or television set.

• It is not recommended for use by anyone suering from Epilepsy or
Heart Disease.

• Do not use the Maniquick Electric Lice Comb on wet or damp hair. Be
sure that the hair is unbraided and owing loose and remove all hair
pins or ornaments.

• Avoid contact with cracked or dry skin and keep away from ears, eyes
and mouth.

• Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or placing it on a hot surface.

• Keep the unit away from liquid or any form of moisture.

• Do not use the unit if the housing or comb are damaged, if the unit is
not functioning properly or if it has been immersed in liquid.

• Prevent accidents and damage to the unit by keeping it away from
clothing, bristles, wires, strings, shoe laces, threads, etc.

• Always switch the unit o when not in use.

• Remove the battery if the unit is not to be used for an extended period.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Variable Voltage Range

The Maniquick Electric Lice Comb eciently eliminates Head Lice and Nits
with its unique variable voltage system that has a range of 130 to 180 volts.
While eective in killing these parasites, it is completely harmless to humans.

Audible Signals Indicating Functions

Comb activity is indicated by audible sounds that indicate dierent functions.
A sound every three seconds indicates that the unit is functioning. A short
buzzing sound every ½ second indicates contact with the parasite. The LED
setting at the On/O switch blinks to indicate dierent functions and to
indicate that the battery is low.

Automatic Shut O Feature

The unit will automatically switch o if not in use for 5 minutes, thus extending
battery life.

Low Battery Indicator

If the battery is low and cannot generate the proper voltage, the LED indicator
will make 2 short and one long blink, the buzzer will sound for 30 seconds and
the unit will automatically switch o.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

1. Open the Battery Compartment Lid by lifting at point “4”. The lid is
hinged to prevent loss.

2. Insert two AAA batteries, making sure to observe the correct polarity
(+/-) as indicated on the batteries and on the Battery Compartment. The
wrong polarity can cause damage to the unit and will void the warranty.

3. Close the Battery Compartment Lid and listen for the buzz to indicate
that the batteries have been changed correctly.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

1. Remove batteries before cleaning the appliance

2. Do not use any strong detergents or other liquids to clean the unit

3. Use a soft paper or cloth to clean the housing

4. Use the Accessory Brush provided to clean the comb

5. Make sure that no water gets into the unit while cleaning and do not
immerse in water.

6. Store in a clean, cool and dry area that is well ventilated.

7. Direct exposure to sunlight could damage the unit.

OPERATION

1. Undo braids and remove any hair ornaments.

2. Press the On/O button “1” for two seconds to turn the unit on. The LED
will light and the buzzer will sound for three seconds, indicating that the
unit is ready for use.

3. Use the Maniquick Electric Lice Comb as you would a normal comb,
making sure that hair is completely dry.

4. When the unit is operating the LED light will be on and the buzzer will
sound every 3 seconds.

5. The Buzzer will sound and the LED will ash when the comb comes in
contact with a Head Louse or Nit.

6. After use, be sure to switch o the unit, clean the comb with the brush
provided and replace the Protective Cap “2” before storing the unit.
Once the unit is switched o you may hear a buzzing sound as the
unit is discharging. The sound will stop once the unit has discharged
completely.

CONDITIONS FOR SERVICE UNDER GUARANTEE

1. SANICO Srl guarantees the absence of faults and mechanical defects
and the completeness of the product when it is sold.

2. Repairs can be done only at Service Centres authorized by SANICO Srl or
by the Authorized Distributor in the country where you have purchased
the appliance.

3. The duration of the period of guarantee on the materials and on manu­facturing and operating defects is 2 years with eect from the date of
sale, subject to all the conditions for the Purchaser shown in the Instruc­tions for use. The obligations of guarantee do not cover expendable ma­terials: electrode cups, elastic bands, power supply cables etc..

4. Complaints relative to the product must be presented directly to the au­thorized service centre. The service centre, on the basis of an agreement
with the Vendor, is competent to establish the cause and nature of the
fault. The product will be replaced only if it cannot be repaired.

5. The owner will provide to deliver the product to the after-sales service
center, as per the delivery instructions that can be requested by e-mail:

6. The time necessary for the repair under guarantee will be subject to the
degree of seriousness of the fault.

7. The responsibility of SANICO Srl under these conditions of guarantee
will be limited to the amount paid by the Purchaser for the product in
question.

The guarantee on the product will not be applied in the following cases

• certicate of guarantee lled in incorrectly or falsied; serial number (if
applicable for the specic product) damaged or removed;

• absence of commercial and nancial documents (cash receipt, delivery

SICUREZZA DELLE PILE ALCALINE PER APPARECCHI

1. Fuoco - Non eliminare mai le pile gettandole nel fuoco. Si potrebbero rompere e
liberare delle sostanze contenute all’interno.

2. Se viene ingerita richiedere immediatamente assistenza medica.

4. Rimuovere le pile vecchie o deboli dagli apparecchi.

1. Fire - Never delete the batteries throwing them in a re. they could break and
release the substances contained inside them.

4. Remove old or weak batteries from appliances.

5. Do not mix old and new batteries in the same apparatus. There may be losses. The
replacement of all batteries in a device must be done simultaneously.

6. Never mix dierent types of batteries in a single device. There may be losses.

7. Install carefully the batteries in the correct polarity (+ and -) according to the in­structions provided by the manufacturer of the product

8. Do not leave the Products turn on with batteries when they are depleted. There
may be losses.

9. Remove the batteries from any device that must remain unused for long periods
of time

10. Avoid contact of the batteries with metal objects or other batteries because they
may experience losses or they could break.

11. Do not recharge batteries because there may be some losses or they could break.

13. Store batteries in a cool and dry. Avoid sudden changes in temperature. Store the
batteries in their original packaging before use.

14. RESPECT THE ENVIRONMENT - DISPOSE OF EXHAUSTED BATTERIES IN THE CON­TAINERS

The battery and the possible Electronic Equipment -AEE- or anything that contains it
must not be disposed as urban waste, but in compliance with Directive 2002/96/EC,
2006/66/EC and of National Laws transposition for the disposal of the product end of
life, and must be subjected to a separate collection to avoid damage to the environ­ment. Failure to comply with the above is sanctioned by Law.
