Thank you for purchasing the MANHATTAN® Hi-Speed USB Analog TV/FM Radio
Stick, Model 161251. This guide presents the basic steps to set up and operate the
device. For detailed instructions and specications, refer to the user manual at

www.manhattan-products.com.

Hardware Installation

1. Connect the analog input jack to the
analog source.

2. Plug the USB connector into a USB port
on the PC directly or with the included
USB extension cable. Windows will
identify the device and automatically
launch the New Hardware Device wizard.

3. When prompted, choose “Cancel.”

Software and Driver Installation

1. Insert the Software/Driver CD. Windows should run the setup program
automatically; if it doesn’t, browse to the CD and select “USB_TV_Stick.exe.”

2. Choose the setup language.

3. When prompted to install Windows Media Format9, click “Yes.”

4. Click “Next” to run the InstallShield wizard.

5. Choose the installation path by selecting “Browse,” or click “Next” to use the
recommended default path.

6. Choose the components to install and click “Next.”

7. If the device isn’t already plugged into the PC, plug it in now.

8. Click “Install” to continue to install the drivers.

9. At the next prompt, select “Continue Anyway.”

10. Select “Finish” to complete the driver installation. Icons for MYGICA TV
and radio (right) will display on the Windows desktop.

Sticks, Modell 161251. Diese Kurzanleitung zeigt die Basisschritte zur Einrichtung
und Inbetriebnahme des Geräts. Genauere Anweisungen nden Sie im Handbuch

Hardwareinstallation

1. Schließen Sie den Analoganschluss an die
analoge Ausgabequelle an.

2. Schließen Sie den USB-Stecker an den
USB-Port entweder direkt oder mit dem
beiliegenden USB-Verlängerungskabel
an den PC an. Windows erkennt das
Gerät und startet automatisch den
Installationsassistenten.

3. Klicken Sie auf “Cancel”/”Abbrechen”.

Software- und Treiberinstallation

1. Legen Sie die Software-/Treiber-CD ein. Windows startet die Installation
normalerweise automatisch; falls nicht, starten Sie “USB_TV_Stick.exe” von der

CD.

2. Wählen Sie die Installationssprache.

3. Wenn Sie zur Installation des Windows Media Format9 aufgefordert werden,
klicken Sie auf “Ja”.

4. Klicken Sie auf “Weiter”, um den Installationsassistenten zu starten.

5. Wählen Sie das Installationsverzeichnis, indem Sie auf “Durchsuchen“ klicken
oder auf “Weiter” um den Standardpfad zu verwenden.

6. Wählen Sie die Installationskomponenten und klicken Sie auf “Weiter”.

7. Ist das Gerät noch nicht an den PC angeschlossen, schließen Sie es jetzt an.

8. Klicken Sie auf “Installieren”, um die Treiber zu installieren.

9. Im nächsten Schritt wählen Sie aus “Trotzdem fortsetzen”.

10. Klicken Sie auf “Beenden”, um die Treiberinstallation abzuschließen.

Instalación de Hardware

1. Conecte al jack la señal analogica.

2. Inserte el conector USB en el puerto
USB de la PC o traves de la extensión
USB incluida. Windows identicará el
dispositivo e iniciara el asistente para
agregar nuevo hardware.

3. Cuando se le solicite, seleccione “Cancelar.”

Instalación de Software y Controlador

1. Inserte el CD del Software/Driver. Windows debe ejecutar el programa de
instalación automáticamente, si no es así, explore el CD y seleccione
“USB_TV_Stick.exe.”

2. Elija el idioma de instalación.

3. Instale Windows Media Format9, haciendo clic en “Si.”

4. Haga clic en “Siguiente” para ejecutar el asistente de instalación.

5. Elija la ruta de instalación, seleccione “Examinar”, o haga clic en “Siguiente” para
utilizar la ruta recomendada.

6. Seleccione los componentes a instalar y haga clic en “Siguiente”.

7. Si el dispositivo no está conectado a la PC, conectelo ahora.

8. Haga clic en “Install” para instalar los controladores.

9. En la siguiente pantalla, seleccione “Continuar”.

10. Seleccione “Finalizar” para completar la instalación del controlador.

Installation matérielle

1. Connectez la che analogique à la
source analogique.

2. Branchez le connecteur USB à un port
USB du PC directement ou via la rallonge
USB incluse. Windows identie le
dispositif et démarre l’assistant
d’installation automatiquement.

3. Quand demandé, cliquez sur “Cancel”/”Annuler”.

Installation du pilote/logiciel

1. Insérez le CD de logiciel/pilote. Windows devrait démarrer l’installation
automatiquement; si ce n’est pas le cas, recherchez le CD et démarrez le “USB_
TV_Stick.exe.”

2. Choisissez la langue d’installation.

3. Quand demandé d’installer “Windows Media Format9”, cliquez sur “Oui”.

4. Cliquez sur “Suivant” pour démarrer l’assistant d’installation.

5. Choisissez la répertoire d’installation en sélectionnant “Parcourir” ou cliquez sur
“Suivant” an d’utiliser la répertoire standard.

6. Choisissez les composants à installer et cliquez sur “Suivant”.

7. Si le dispositif n’est pas encore branché au PC, branchez-le maintenant.

8. Cliquez sur “Installer” pour installer le pilote.

9. À la prochaine étape, cliquez sur “Continue Anyway/”Continuer
néanmoins”.

10. Sélectionnez “Terminer” pour compléter l’installation du pilote. Des
symboles de MYGICA TV et radio (cf. à droite) apparaîssent sur le
bureau de Windows.

Podłączanie

1. Podłącz źródło analogowego sygnału
TV/FM do gniazda antenowego tunera.

2. Podłącz tuner do wolnego portu USB
komputera bezpośrednio lub za pomocą
przedłużacza USB (w komplecie). System
Windows automatycznie wykryje nowe
urządzenie i uruchomi „Kreatora instalacji nowego sprzętu”.

3. Kliknij „Anuluj”, aby przerwać działanie systemowego „Kreatora instalacji nowego
sprzętu”.

Instalacja sterowników i oprogramowania

1. Umieść płytę ze sterownikami i oprogramowaniem w napędzie CD/DVD-ROM
komputera. System Windows powinien automatycznie uruchomić program
instalacyjny. W przeciwnym razie odszukaj na płycie plik „USB_TV_Stick.exe” i
uruchom go ręcznie.

2. Wybierz odpowiedni język instalacji lub pozostaw domyślny, jeśli na liście ma
żądanego języka.

3. Gdy pojawi się zapytanie o instalację „Windows Media Format9”, kliknij „Tak” („Yes”).

4. Kliknij „Dalej” („Next”), aby rozpocząć instalację.

5. Kliknij „Przeglądaj” („Browse”), aby wybrać docelowy katalog instalacji lub kliknij
„Dalej” („Next”), aby pozostawić domyślny.

6. Wybierz składniki instalacji i kliknij „Dalej” („Next”).

7. Jeśli tuner nie jest podpięty do komputera, podepnij go teraz.

Installazione dell’Hardware

1. Collegare la presa analogica alla fonte
analogica.

2. Inserire il connettore USB nella porta USB
del PC direttamente o con il cavo prolunga
USB inclusa. Windows identicherà
automaticamente la periferica e lancerà la
procedura guidata per la nuova periferica.

3. Quando suggerito, scegliere “Cancel.”

Installazione Software e Driver

1. Inserire il CD con il software e i driver. Windows dovrebbe lanciare
automaticamente il programma di settaggio; se ciò non dovesse accadere,
scorrere il CD e selezionare “USB_TV_Stick.exe.”

2. Scegliere il linguaggio di impostazione.

3. Quando viene suggerito di installare Windows Media Format9, cliccare “Yes.”

4. Cliccare “Next” per avviare la procedura guidata InstallShield.

5. Scegliere il percorso di installazione selezionando “Browse,” o cliccando “Next”
per utilizzare il percorso standard consigliato.

6. Scegliere i componenti da installare e cliccare “Next.”

7. Se la periferica non è ancora collegata al PC, collegarla ora.

8. Cliccare “Install” per continuare ad installare i drivers.

9. Al prossimo prompt, selezionare “Continue Anyway.”

10. Selezionare “Finish” per completare l’installazione dei driver. Le icone
per MYGICA TV e radio (destra) appariranno sulla desktop di Windows.

en su empaque, acompañado de su póliza debidamente llenada y sellada por la casa vendedora
(indispensable el sello y fecha de compra) donde lo adquirió, o bien, la factura o ticket de
compra original donde se mencione claramente el modelo, numero de serie (cuando aplique) y
fecha de adquisición. Esta garantia no es valida en los siguientes casos: Si el producto se hubiese
utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales; si el producto no ha sido operado conforme a los
instructivos de uso; ó si el producto ha sido alterado o tratado de ser reparado por el consumidor ó
