CONNECTIONS
1. Make sure all devices are turned o.
2. Connect the shared keyboard, mouse, monitor and, if used, speaker set and
microphone to the switch (2-port example below).
3. Connect each of the computers to the KVM switch, using the included cables.
4. Turn the power on to each of the connected computers one at a time.
The KVM switch receives power when you connect it to a PC and then turn on the PC.
The keyboard and mouse will be recognized, and you can begin operating the switch.
OPERATION
Press any button (PC1-2 or PC1-4 on the top panel) to select the corresponding port and
manage/control the connected device (host) through the switch. The LED next to each
button lights to indicate your selection. NOTE: Only one connected device can be
managed at a time through the switch.
Hotkey options on your keyboard allow you to select a port on the switch remotely —
convenient when the switch is out of reach.
• Tap <Left CTRL> or <Right CTRL>: Switch to the next or previous port in sequence.
• Tap <Shift>: Scan through ports in 5-second intervals; tap the space bar to stop.
• Press <1> and <2> together to reset the switch if the mouse or keyboard is temporarily
unplugged.

ANSCHLÜSSE
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Geräte ausgeschaltet sind.
2. Schließen Sie gemeinsam genutzte Tastatur, Maus, Monitor und ggf. Lautsprecher Set und Mikrofon an den Switch an (siehe unten stehendes Beispiel am 2-Port Modell).
3. Schließen Sie jeden Computer über die beiliegenden Kabel an den Switch an.
4. Schalten Sie die angeschlossenen Computer nacheinander ein.
Der KVM-Switch nimmt Strom auf sobald Sie ihn an einen PC anschließen und diesen
einschalten. Die Tastatur und Maus werden erkannt und der Switch ist betriebsbereit.
VERWENDUNG
Drücken Sie eine Taste (PC1-2 oder PC1-4 auf der Oberseite), um den entsprechenden
Port auszuwählen und das angeschlossene Gerät (Host) über den Switch zu steuern. Die
LED neben jeder Taste leuchtet, um Ihre Auswahl anzuzeigen HINWEIS: Es kann immer
nur ein Gerät gleichzeitig über den Switch gesteuert werden.
Hotkeys auf Ihrer Tastatur lassen Sie einen Port des Switches per Fernzugri auswählen —
praktisch wenn der Switch gerade außer Reichweite ist:
• <STRG links> oder <STRG rechts>: Umschalten zum nächsten oder vorherigen Port.
• <Shift>: Scannen aller Ports in 5-Sek.-Abständen; Leertaste zum Anhalten.
• <1> und <2> gleichzeitig, um den Switch zurückzusetzen, falls Maus oder Tastatur
zeitweise getrennt wurden.

CONNEXIONES
1. Asegúrese de que todos los dispositivos están apagados.
2. Conecte los dipositivos a compartir tal como el teclado, ratón y monitor, así como
bocinas y micrófono al switch (por ejemplo el de 2 puertos).
3. Conecte cada computadora al switch KVM, usando los cables incluidos.
4. Encienda las computadoras conectadas, una a la vez.
El switch recibe energía cuando se conecta a la PC y esta se enciende. El teclado y ratón
serán reconocidos, y podrá controlar el switch..
MODO DE OPERACIÓN
Presione cualquier botón (PC1-2 ó PC1-4 en la parte superior del panel) para seleccionar el
puerto correspondiente y administrar/controlar el dispositivo conectado (host) a través del
switch. NOTA: Solo un dispositivo conectado puede ser manipulado a la vez por el switch.
Las funciones rápidas en su teclado le permiten seleccionar un puerto en el switch de
manera remota. — es conveniente cuando el switch está fuera de alcance.
• Presione <Ctrl izquierdo> o <Ctrl Derecho> para cambiar de puerto en el switch. Cambia
al anterior o siguiente en secuencia.
• Presione <Shift>: Escanea los puertos en intervalos de 5 segundos; presione la barra
espaciadora para terminar.
• Presione <1> y <2> a la vez para
reiniciar el switch si el ratón o
teclado se bloquean.
