Thank you for purchasing the MANHATTAN® SATA 6Gb/s ExpressCard/34,
Model 150385. For specications, go to www.manhattan-products.com.

Software Installation

1. Insert the SATA 6Gb/s ExpressCard/34 into an available slot.

2. When the Found New Hardware Wizard screen displays with “PCI
Device” listed, make sure the included driver CD is in the CD-ROM/
DVD drive, then select “Install from a list or specic location
(Advanced)” and click “Next.”

3. Select “Search for the best driver in these locations,” and check the
“Include this location in the search” option. (Uncheck the other
boxes.)

4. Enter “E:\” (if your CD-ROM/DVD is E:\), then click “Browse.”

5. Check a location; e.g., “E:\ SATA6G_M9128.” Click “Open,” then
“OK.”

6. When the wizard indicates that it found a driver for the device,
click “Next.”

7. If the Hardware Installation screen appears, click “Continue
Anyway.”

8. The wizard will now copy the required les to the system and start
the driver. When the Installation Complete screen displays, click
“Finish” to exit the wizard.

Installation Verification

1. Right-click on My Computer and go to Properties. Left-click on the
Hardware tab, then click “Device Manager.”

2. Double-click on “SCSI and RAID Controllers.” If there is no yellow
exlamation point (!) or question mark (?) displayed in front of
“Marvell AHCI SATA Controller,” the driver is installed correctly.

Softwareinstallation

1.

Stecken Sie die SATA 6 GBit/s ExpressCard/34 in einen verfügbaren Slot.

2. Wenn der Hardware-Installationsassistent für das “Neue PCI Gerät”
startet, achten Sie darauf, dass die Treiber-CD in Ihrem Laufwerk
liegt, dann wählen Sie die Option “Treiber aus einer Liste oder einem
bestimmten Speicherort auswählen (erweitert)” und klicken Sie auf
“Weiter”.

3. Wählen Sie aus “Nach dem besten Treiber in einem bestimmten
Verzeichnis suchen” sowie die Option “Dieses Verzeichnis bei der
Suche einbeziehen”. (Wählen Sie die anderen Optionen ab.)

4. Geben Sie ein “E:\” (wenn Ihr CD-/DVD-Laufwerksbuchstabe E:\ ist),
dann klicken Sie auf “Durchsuchen”.

5. Wählen Sie einen Pfad aus; z. B. “E:\ SATA6G_M9128.” Klicken Sie auf
“Önen”, dann auf “OK”.

6. Sobald der Installationsassistent einen Gerätetreiber ndet, klicken
Sie auf “Weiter”.

7. Wenn der Hardwareinstallationsbildschirm erscheint, klicken Sie
auf “Trotzdem fortsetzen”.

8. Der Installationsassistent kopiert daraufhin die benötigten Dateien
in Ihr System und startet den Treiber. Klicken Sie auf Beenden, um
die Installation abzuschließen.

Überprüfen der Treiberinstallation

1. Rechtsklicken Sie auf “Arbeitsplatz”, dann auf “Verwalten”, dann auf

“Geräte-Manager”.

2. Doppelklicken Sie auf “SCSI und RAID Controller.” Wenn sich kein
gelbes “!” oder “?” vor dem Eintrag “Marvell AHCI SATA Controller”
bendet, wurde der Treiber korrekt installiert.

Instalación del Software

1. Inserte la tarjeta en una ranura disponible.

2. Cuando se muestre el asistente para el “Dispositivo PCI”, asegúrese
de que el CD de controladores incluido está en la unidad CD-ROM/
DVD, después seleccione “Instalar desde una ubicación especica
(avanzado)” y haga clic en “Siguiente”.

3. Elija “Buscar el mejor controlador en estas ubicaciones” y marque
la opción “Incluir esta ubicación en la búsqueda”. (Desmarque las
otras casillas.)

4. Ingrese a “E:\” (si el CD-ROM/DVD es E:\), haga clic en “Examinar”.

5. Verique la ubicación; ej. “E:\ SATA6G_M9128”. Haga clic en “Abrir”,
y después en “Aceptar”.

6. Cuando se haya encontrado un controlador, haga clic en “Siguiente”.

7. Si aparece la pantalla de Instalación de Hardware, haga clic en
“Continuar de todas formas”.

8. El asistente copiará los archivos requeridos al equipo e iniciará la
instalación del controlador. Cuando se muestre la pantalla de
“Finalización del asistente” haga clic en “Finalizar” para salir del
asistente.

Verificando la Instalación

1. Haga clic derecho en “Mi PC”; seleccione “Propiedades”; haga clic en
la pestaña “Hardware”; haga clic en “Administrador de Dispositivos”.

2. Haga doble clic en “Controladores SCSI y RAID.” Si no hay un “!” o
“?” en amarillo frente a “Controladora Marvell AHCI SATA” el
controlador se ha instalado correctamente.

Installation logiciel

1. Insérez la Carte ExpressCard/34 6Gbit/s dans un emplacement PCI
disponible.

2. Quand l’assistant “Nouveau matériel détecté” s’ache avec le
“Dispositif PCI”, vériez que vous avez inséré le CD de pilote inclus
dans votre lecteur CD/DVD, puis sélectionnez “Installer à partir d’une

liste ou un emplacement spécique (Avancé)” et cliquez sur “Prochain”.

3. Sélectionnez “Rechercher le meilleur pilote dans ces emplacements,”
et sélectionnez l’option “Inclure cet emplacement dans la recherche”
(désélectionnez les autres options).

4. Saisissez “E:\” (si votre lecteur CD/DVD est E:\), puis cliquez sur
“Rechercher”.

5. Sélectionnez un emplacement, p.ex. “E:\ SATA6G_M9128”. Cliquez
sur “Ouvrir,” puis “OK.”

6. Quand l’assistant ache qu’il a trouvé un pilote pour le dispositif,
cliquez sur “Prochain”.

7. Si l’écran d’installation apparaît, cliquez sur “Continuer”.

8. L’assistant va maintenant copier les chiers requis sur le système et
démarrer le pilote. Cliquez sur “Terminer” pour quitter l’assistant.

Vérification de l’installation du pilote

1. Cliquez-droit sur “Poste de travail”, puis sur “Gestion”, puis sur
“Gestionnaire de périphérique.”

2. Double-cliquez sur “Contrôleurs SCSI et RAID”. S’il n’y a pas de
jaune “!” ou “?” devant “Marvell AHCI SATA Controller”, le pilote
était installé correctement.

Instalacja

1. Umieść kartę w wolnym slocie komputera.

2. Gdy pojawi się systemowy Kreator znajdowania nowego sprzętu,
upewnij się, że dołączona płyta CD włożona jest do napędu CD/

DVD komputera. Następnie w oknie kreatora wybierz opcję „Zainstaluj

z listy lub określonej lokalizacji (zaawansowane)” i wciśnij „Dalej”.

3. Zaznacz opcje „Wyszukaj najlepszy sterownik w tych lokalizacjach”
oraz „Uwzględnij tę lokalizację w wyszukiwaniu”. (Odznacz pozostałe
możliwości).

4. Wprowadź „E:\” (gdzie „E” oznacza literę przypisaną do napędu
CD/DVD), następnie wciśnij „Przeglądaj”.

5. Wybierz lokalizację, przykładowo: „E:\ SATA6G_M9128”. Wciśnij
„Otwórz”, następnie „OK.”

6. Kiedy kreator poinformuje o odnalezieniu sterowników dla
urządzenia, wciśnij „Dalej”.

7. Jeśli w trakcie instalacji pojawi się systemowy komunikat o
niezgodności podpisu sterownika, wybierz opcję „Mimo to kontynuuj”.

8. Kreator rozpocznie kopiowanie do systemu niezbędnych plików.

Kiedy kreator poinformuje o zakończeniu procesu instalacji, wciśnij
„Zakończ”.

Weryfikacja instalacji

1. Wciśnij prawy klawisz myszy na systemowej ikonie „Mój Komputer”,

następnie wybierz „Właściwości”. Przejdź na kartę „Sprzęt”,
następnie wybierz „Menadżer urządzeń”.

2. Podwójnym kliknięciem myszy rozwiń pozycję „Kontrolery SCSI

oraz RAID”. Jeśli przy urządzeniu „Marvell AHCI SATA Controller,”
nie ma żółtego znaku „!” lub „?”, oznacza to, że sterownik został
zainstalowany poprawnie.

Minimalne wymagania systemowe

• Windows XP/Vista/7/Server 2003/2008 (32- lub 64-bit)

• Wolny slot ExpressCard

• Napęd CD-DVD

Installazione del Software

1. Inserire la scheda SATA 6Gb/s ExpressCard/34 in uno slot disponbile.

2. Quando compare la nestra (“Found New Hardware Wizard”) che
indica che è stato rilevato un nuovo hardware von elencata
“Periferica PCI” (“PCI Device”), assicurarsi che l’accluso CD contenente
i driver sia nel lettore CD/DVD, quindi selezionare “Installa da una
lista o specica locazione (avanzato) (“Install from a list or specic
location (Advanced)” e cliccare “avanti” (“Next”).

3. Selezionare “Ricerca dei migliori driver in queste locazioni” (“Search
for the best driver in these locations”) e spuntare l’opzione “includere
questa locazione nella ricerca” (“Include this location in the search”).
(deselezionare le altre opzioni.)

4. Inserire “E:\” (se il tuo CD-ROM/DVD è E:\), quindi cliccare “Browse.”

5. Selezionare una locazione; per esempio, “E:\ SATA6G_M9128.”
Cliccare “Apri” (“Open”), quindi “OK.”

6. Quando il wizard indica che è stato trovato un driver per la
periferica, cliccare “Avanti” (“Next”).

7. Se appare sullo schermo la nestra di installazione dell’hardware,
cliccare “Continua comunque” (“Continue Anyway”).

8. Il wizard copierà ora i le richiesti dal sistema e farà partire i driver.
Quando appare sullo schermo la nestra indicante che l’installazione
è completa, cliccare “Termina” (“Finish”) per uscire dal wizard.

Verifica dell’Installazione

1. Cliccare con il tasto destro del mouse su Risorse del computer (My
Computer) e andare a Proprietà (Properties). Cliccare con il tasto
sinistro sulla linguetta Hardware, quindi cliccare Gestione periferiche
(Device Manager).

2. Cliccare due volte su “Controller SCSI e RAID” (SCSI and RAID
Controllers). Se non ci sono punti esclamativi gialli (!) o punti di
domanda (?) che compaiono prima di “Marvell AHCI SATA
Controller,” i driver sono stati installati correttamente.

original donde se mencione claramente el modelo, número de serie (cuando aplique) y fecha de
adquisición. Esta garantía no es válida en los siguientes casos: Si el producto se hubiese utilizado en
condiciones distintas a las normales; si el producto no ha sido operado conforme a los instructivos de
