SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Prior to installing your speakers, read the following safety guidelines to help prevent damage to any electrical components or harm to users.
• Do not place this product or any of its parts near heat or potential heat sources, nor in any moist or damp environment.
• Do not hit, drop or mishandle electrical components in such a way as to loosen, break or otherwise render inoperative any interior or exterior parts. Place only on a stable, well-ventilated platform.
• Do not remove the back panel except as directed by a qualied technician in order to minimize the possibility of electrical shock. If in need of repair or inspection, bring the speaker(s) to a professional repair person.
• Should liquids or other materials (including fragments of broken parts) get inside the speaker cabinet, immediately shut power off to the speaker and have it professionally inspected and/or repaired before further operation.
• Turn off the power and unplug from power source when the system is not in use and during electrical storms.
• Clean with a soft, damp cloth only. Avoid abrasives or chemicals.

1. Carefully unpack the speakers. Do not lift or remove the speakers
from the box by the function knobs or connected cables, as this may damage the speaker unit.
2. Place the satellite speakers and subwoofer in the desired listening location. Subwoofer: Since stereo sound emanates only from the two satellites,
and because the low-frequency sound from the subwoofer is non-
directional, placement of the subwoofer in relation to the satellites
won’t affect the overall balance of sound. To optimize bass efciency, however, it’s best to place the subwoofer on the oor near a wall or in
a corner of the room. NOTE: Though featuring a magnetically shielded design so the speaker system is free from interference when placed near a monitor or TV, the subwoofer can cause interference in other components. Position the subwoofer at least 30 cm (1 ft.) away from
monitors and TVs.
Satellites: Arrange the two satellite speakers to suit your listening
preferences — right next to the TV or as far apart as the speaker
cord allows. NOTE: Like the subwoofer, the satellites are also magnetically shielded; however, as they won’t cause interference, they can be placed next to other electrical components.
3. Using the included RCA cables, connect the right and left satellite
speakers to the subwoofer through the corresponding (left and right) output jacks (4) on the rear panel of the subwoofer.
4. Connect the input jack (7) on the rear panel of the subwoofer to the audio source (tuner, computer, game system or whatever). NOTE: Connect to the headphone jack of the source if it’s the only output available.
5. Plug the AC power cord (6) on the back of the subwoofer into an
electrical outlet.
6. With the audio source turned on and generating an audio signal, ip
the power switch (5) on the subwoofer to the on position.
7. Adjust the volume using the wired control (8).
8. Adjust the levels of treble and bass by turning the knobs (2 & 3) on the subwoofer.

Suggestions for Setup & Operation
• If only one speaker emits CD audio when the system is plugged into a headphone jack, it’s because WAV les and games normally
transmit only one track of audio.
• If one or more of the speakers don’t provide sound once power is on,
check all connections and controls. NOTE: If adjusting the bass control doesn’t affect the audio output, it could simply be that the
signal source doesn’t include frequencies below 200 Hz.
