SATA Quick Dock • Quick Install Guide English

Thank you for purchasing the MANHATTAN® SATA Quick Dock, Model 130202.
This guide presents the basic steps to install this device. For detailed operating

instructions and specications, refer to the user manual available at
www.manhattan-products.com.

Installation

1. Using the included USB
cable, connect the SATA
Quick Dock to a USB port
on the computer or hub.

2. Using the included power
adapter, connect the SATA
Quick Dock to an AC power
outlet.

3. Press the Power button to
turn on the Dock. It will
automatically nd and
install the necessary
driver(s). The LED should
light to indicate power.

4. Insert a hard-disk drive (2.5” or 3.5”) rmly into the Dock.

Operation

The software on the included CD needs to be installed to proceed with the
operating procedure(s). Insert the CD and follow the on-screen instructions. For
details, refer to the user manual available at www.manhattan-products.com.

• Drives can be inserted or removed from the SATA Quick Dock while it is
powered on, but take extra precautions against electrical discharges.

• Do not handle a drive by its sensitive components or place near speakers,
televisions or other magnetic devices.
NOTE: MANHATTAN accepts no responsibility for lost data.

Vielen Dank für den Kauf des MANHATTAN® SATA Quick Docks, Modell 130202.
Diese Kurzanleitung zeigt die grundlegenden Schritte zur Einrichtung und

Inbetriebnahme dieses Geräts. Für genauere Anweisungen nutzen Sie bitte
das beiliegende Handbuch auf CD oder auf www.manhattan-products.com.

Installation

1. Verbinden Sie das SATA
Quick Dock über das
beiliegende USB-Kabel mit
Ihrem Hub oder Computer.

2. Schließen Sie das SATA Quick
Dock über das Netzteil an
eine Steckdose an. Die
leuchtende LED zeigt die
Stromversorgung an.

3. Drücken Sie den Netzschalter
um das Dock einzuschalten.
Der passende Treiber wird
automatisch installiert.

4. Setzen Sie eine Festplatte
(2,5” oder 3,5”) fest in das Dock ein.

Bedienung

Die Software auf der beiliegenden CD muss installiert sein, um das Gerät
verwenden zu können. Legen Sie die CD ein folgen Sie den Bildschirman­weisungen. Details nden Sie im Handbuch, verfügbar unter

• Laufwerke können bei eingeschaltetem SATA Quick Dock eingesetzt oder
entfernt werden, aber treen Sie Maßnahmen gegen elektrische Entladungen.

• Berühren Sie nicht die Kontakte des Laufwerks und lagern Sie es nicht in der
Nähe von Lautsprechern, Fernsehern oder anderen magnetischen Geräten.

Ce guide décrit les bases pour congurer et utiliser cet appareil. Pour des

Installation

1. Connectez la Station à un
port USB de votre hub ou
ordinateur en utilisant le

Instalacja

1. Za pomocą kabla USB (w
zestawie) podłącz stację
dokującą do wolnego portu
USB komputera lub huba.

2. Podłącz adapter zasilania (w
zestawie) do stacji dokującej
oraz do gniazda zasilania AC.
Powinna zaświecić się dioda
na obudowie urządzenia.

3. Wciśnij przycisk zasilania,
aby włączyć stację dokującą.
System operacyjny
komputera automatycznie
wykryje nowe urządzenie i
zainstaluje odpowiednie sterowniki.

4. Umieść dysk twardy SATA (2,5” lub 3,5”) w porcie stacji dokującej.

Zalecenia eksploatacyjne

Aby korzystać z funkcji wykonywania kopii zapasowych za pomocą przycisku
na obudowie stacji dokującej, należy dodatkowo zainstalować oprogramowanie
znajdujące się na płycie CD.

• Dyski twarde mogą być przepinane przy włączonej stacji dokującej. Należy
jednak pamiętać, aby zachować odpowiednie środki ostrożności, by uniknąć
przepięć elektrycznych.

• Pamiętaj, aby nie dotykać wrażliwych podzespołów dysków twardych oraz
nie umieszczać dysków w pobliżu głośników, monitora/telewizora oraz
innych urządzeń wytwarzających pole magnetyczne.
UWAGA: Producent nie ponosi odpowiedzialności za ewentualną utratę danych.

Questa guida fornisce gli elementi indispensabili per eettuare l’installazione

della periferica. Per istruzioni dettagliate in merito a istruzioni e speciche, fate

Installazione

1. Usando il cavo USB incluso,
collegare la Docking Station
SATA alla porta USB del
computer o dell’ hub.

2. Usando l’alimentatore incluso,
collegare la docking Station
SATA alla presa di corrente.

3. Premere l’interruttore per
accendere l’apparecchiatura.
Quest’ultima verrà
automaticamente rilevata e
verranno installati i driver
necessari. Il LED dovrebbe
illuminarsi ad indicare l’accensione.

4. Inserire un hard disk (2.5” o 3.5”) all’interno della Docking Station.

Funzionamento

E’ necessario eettuare l’installazione del software sul CD incluso per permettere
il funzionamento corretto. Inserire il CD e seguire le istruzioni sullo schermo. Per
i dettagli, fare riferimento al manuale d’istruzione disponibile sul sito

• I dischi possono essere inseriti o rimossi dalla Docking Station SATA mentre
questa è accesa, ma si consiglia di prendere le dovute precauzioni contro le
scariche elettriche.

• Non maneggiare il disco con componenti sensibili o posizionarlo vicino a
casse acustiche, televisori o altre apparecchiature magnetiche.

compra original donde se mencione claramente el modelo, numero de serie (cuando aplique) y
