Installation Instructions - Please Read Before Beginning
Step 1: Vehicle Installation

. Open the carton, remove the contents and confirm
that all the components of the rack have been
included. See image 1.

. Identify and pre-stage the following parts for
building a lower side assembly.
See image 2.

J = 50mm Bolts
I = 45mm Bolts
. Align Lower Upright (C), Frame Leg (A) and Upright
Brace (D) mounting holes. Install and firmly tighten
45mm Bolts (I) and the 50mm Bolts (J). Install and
fully insert Levelers (G). See image 3.
. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to assemble the second lower
side assembly.
NOTE: If optional Casters or Leg Extensions are to
be installed, see instructions included with product.

. Vertically position a lower side assembly and
install two Cross Supports with nuts / washers
provided. Repeat for the opposite side.
See image 5.
NOTE: Lightly tighten the lock nuts at this stage.
. Identify and pre-stage two Cross Supports (E) with
lower side assemblies completed in instructions 2
and 3.

NOTE: The images provided show the frame with
the optional Leg Extension included. Ignore if not
applicable.

. Insert Coupling (F) over the top of a Lower
Upright. Align lower mounting holes and
install two 45mm Bolts (I) with washer and
lock nuts. Hand tighten only.
Repeat for second Coupling and Upright.

. Position and install a third Cross Support as shown.
Firmly tighten all six Cross Support lock nuts with
a 1/2” wrench. See image 6.

. Locate and assemble two Cross Supports (E) with
the two Top Uprights (B) as shown. Use nuts and
washers provided. Firmly tighten. See image 8.
NOTE: The Cross Support with the MALONE logo
should be in the top (highest) position.

. Insert the Top Upright Assembly from Step
8 into the Couplings connected to the lower
assembly created in instructions 2-6.

. Attach the Top Upright Assembly by aligning the top
mounting holes and installing two 45mm Bolts (I),
washers and lock nuts. Firmly tighten all Coupling
bolts on both sides of the frame. See image 10.

. Install Foam Blocks and Upright Pads where
applicable. See Page 4 for a listing of all
rack systems and the correct components
included with each system. See image 11.
