Charging the Internal Battery
1. The internal battery should already be charged at the time of purchase, however,
you should give the battery a top-up charge as soon as possible.
2. The internal battery should only be charged with one of the accessories provided
3. The spotlight must be in the OFF position whilst charging.
4. The spotlight should be kept fully charged when not in use. If it is stored then it
should be recharged every 10 – 12 weeks. Always ensure that the switch is in the
OFF position when it is not in use.
5. If the battery is fully depleted, the battery will take approximately 6 – 7 hours to
reach maximum capacity when using the supplied mains adapter.
6. The battery will also charge from the 12 volt cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle
using the lead provided. It is recommended that it is not left in this mode of
charging for longer than 2 hours (for emergency charging only). Charging should be
done with the engine running to prevent running down the charge on your vehicles’
battery.
7. The red LED will illuminate when the spotlight is receiving a charge but does not
indicate when the battery is fully charged.
