Navigation Settings
Power/Mode button: This should be used to turn your radio on
and into Standby. To put into standby, press and hold the button
to display the time, date and any settings set such as alarms.
To turn o standby, press the Standby button to be taken to the
home screen, or last function that you were using before putting
into standby.
When the radio is switched on to working mode, press the
button to display the mode home screen with available modes.
Info/Menu button: When on DAB or FM mode, press the
button (do not hold) multiple times to scroll through the station
information.
Press and hold the button to display the radio Menu settings.
Whilst creating settings, press the button to go back a step.
Navigation/OK/Volume Dial and Stop button in CD mode:
Rotate the dial clockwise or anticlockwise to scroll through
choices and press down the dial to conrm selections.
This dial will allow you to change the volume when you are on
the radio station playing screen.
CD functionality buttons: When in CD mode, use the CD
functionality buttons on the unit to eject the CD, stop, pause/
play, repeat/program, rewind and fastforward.

Basic Operation
Please note that the instructions within this manual will refer
to the radio button number e.g (Ref.*X*) in accordance to the
diagrams on pages 2-3 or the remote (Rem.*X*) on pages 4-5.
Starting up your radio
Plug the adaptor connector into the back of the system labelled
‘DC in’ (Ref.) and turn the power on from the mains. The radio
will begin to power up and display a ‘MAJORITY’ screen.
Ensure the antenna (Ref.) is extended as far as possible. This
will enable you to get the best signal you can before going to
DAB and FM modes and beginning to scan for available stations.
The radio will then begin a full scan for available digital DAB
stations and will display a scanning bar showing the amount
of stations found. Once the scan is complete, the rst available
digital radio station will automatically begin to play.
You can then select the chosen default language on the display
screen. Scroll through using the navigation dial (Ref.) and
select the chosen language by pressing down the dial.
To change the mode of the radio from DAB mode, press the
Power/Mode button (Ref.) to enter the mode home screen with
available modes. Use the Navigation/OK dial to scroll between
the available modes and select the mode by pressing down the
dial (Ref.)

Standby Mode
To place the radio into standby, press and hold the Power/Mode
button (Ref.) for 2-3 seconds and a standby screen showing the
date, time and alarm settings will display.
To take the radio o standby, press the Power/Mode button (do
not hold).
To switch the radio o completely, it is advisable to place the
radio into standby mode and then switch the radio o at the
mains.

DAB/DAB+ Radio
Press the Power/Mode button (Ref.) (do not hold the button)
or (Rem.6) to open the mode home screen. Select ‘DAB/DAB+’
on the main display screen by browsing with the Navigation dial
(Ref.) and selecting the mode by pressing down the dial or use
the navigation buttons on the remote (Rem.2/3/4/5/15).
On rst use of DAB, the available DAB stations will have already
been scanned and saved. If the radio has not automatically
scanned or you wish to rescan for available stations, press and
hold the Info/Menu button (Ref.), followed by selecting the
“Full Scan” option. The radio will now begin scanning for DAB
stations and will show ‘Scanning’ on the display screen. It will
display how many stations have been found as the search
continues.
Once all of the available stations have been found, the rst
available station will play. To scroll through the available
stations, press the ‘<’ button (Ref.) to view the station list. Scroll
through the available stations with the Navigation dial (Ref.)
or the ‘<’ and ‘>’ button on the remote (Rem.3/4) and highlight
the chosen station. Select the station you wish to listen to by
pressing down the dial.
When you have selected a station, the screen will display the
station and begin to play. To choose the previous or next station,
go back to the list and use the Navigation dial or the remote
navigation buttons to scroll accordingly.

DAB/DAB+ Preset Stations
Pre-setting your favourite DAB/DAB+ stations
Up to 10 DAB/DAB+ stations can be preset for easy navigation.
To create a preset, you must be listening to the chosen station.
Presetting from the unit
From the unit, you can easily set preset number 1-3 by pressing
and holding one of the Preset 1-3 buttons (Ref./11/12).
Please ensure that the button is held for 2-3 seconds rather than
pressed. The screen will then display “Preset X Saved”.
To set preset number 4+, press and hold the Preset 4+ button
(Ref.) to open the ‘Save to Preset’ screen. Please ensure that
the button is held for 2-3 seconds rather than pressed. Use the
navigation dial to scroll through the preset numbers and select
the preset number by pressing down the dial (Ref.)
Presetting from the remote
When you have found your desired station, press and hold the
‘Preset’ button on the remote (Rem.21) for 2-3 seconds to go to
the ‘Save to Preset’ screen.
Use the ‘<’ and ‘>’ buttons on the remote (Rem.3/15) to scroll to
the chosen preset number you wish to save the station to. Select
the preset number by pressing the OK button (Rem.4)
Please note: To remove a preset option that has been made,
simply preset another radio station over the preset number.

DAB/DAB+ Station Information
Whilst playing a DAB/DAB+ station, the following station
information can be viewed by pressing the ‘Menu/Info’ button
repeatedly (Ref.2) on the unit.
Dynamic Label Segment (DLS): Displays text information
supplied by the broadcaster.
PTY (Programme Type): Shows the type and description of the
programme provided by the DAB station.
DAB Indication: Indicates DAB mode.
Channel and Frequency: Displays the station transmission
channel number and frequency.
Signal Error/Strength: Provides details of the station signal
strength.
Bit Rate: The data rate which the signal is being transmitted.
Date and Day: Displays the date and day of the week.

DAB Radio Settings
On DAB mode, open DAB radio settings by pressing and holding
the Menu/Info button (Ref.) for 2-3 seconds. The following
setting options will then display:
Station List: Select this option to view the available stations to
begin playing on the unit. Select a station to play by pressing
down the navigation dial (Ref.).
Full Scan: Select to begin a full scan for available digital radio
stations. This would be advisable to receive more stations or
resolve any signal issues.
Manual Tune: Select this option to scroll through available
stations by their DAB channel and frequency (MHz). Select a
station to play by pressing down the navigation dial (Ref.).
Prune Invalid: Select this option to remove invalid stations or
stations with poor signal. When “Proceed to prune the invalid
stations?” shows, select “Yes” with the navigation dial (Ref.) to
prune.
DRC (Dynamic Range Compression): Select this option to
reduce the volume of louder sounds and boost the volume of
quiter sounds. Select High, Low or O with the navigation dial
(Ref.)
System Settings: Press to open and edit system setting options
such as Equaliser, Time/Date, Backlight, Language, Factory Reset
and Software Version. These settings will be explained on pages
28 - 29 of the manual.

FM Radio
Press the Power/Mode button (do not hold the button) (Ref.)
or (Rem.6) to open the mode home screen. Select ‘FM’ on the
main display screen by browsing with the Navigation dial (Ref.)
and selecting the mode by pressing down the dial or use the
navigation buttons on the remote (Rem.2/3/4/5/15).
On rst use of FM radio, initiate a manual scan up the bandwidth
for available stations by pressing and holding the ‘>’ button
(Ref.) for 2-3 seconds. The FM frequency will now increase
quickly as it scans. Once the bandwidth has been scanned, the
rst stored and available station up the bandwidth will begin to
play.
To scan quickly up the bandwidth between saved stations, press
and hold the ‘>’ button (Ref.) for 2-3 seconds and then release.
To scan quickly down the bandwidth between saved stations,
press and hold the ‘<’ button (Ref.) for 2-3 seconds and then
release.
To search slowly up the bandwidth, press the ‘>’ button multiple
times (do not hold) until on your desired frequency. To search
slowly down the bandwidth, press the ‘<’ button repeatedly (do
not hold) until on your desired frequency.

Whilst playing a FM station, the following station information

FM Radio Settings

Scan Setting: Choose between scanning only stations with
strong signal, or scanning for all stations, including those with
weak signals. Select your chosen option with the navigation dial
(Ref.).
Audio Setting: Select this option to choose between “Stereo
Allowed” or “Forced Mono”. Select your chosen option with the
navigation dial (Ref.)
All stereo stations are reproduced in stereo - for weak stations
this can result in poor audio quality. The audio quality can be
improved by using mono.
System Settings: Press to open and edit system setting options
such as Equaliser, Time/Date, Backlight, Language, Factory Reset
and Software Version. These settings will be explained on pages
28 - 29 of the manual.

Bluetooth Mode
Press the Power/Mode button (Ref.) (do not hold the button)
or (Rem.6) to open the mode home screen. Select ‘Bluetooth’ on
the main display screen by browsing with the Navigation dial
(Ref.) and selecting the mode by pressing down the dial or use
the navigation buttons on the remote (Rem.2/3/4/5/15).
The radio screen will display “disconnected” before set up.
Go to your device’s Bluetooth settings to connect your chosen
device to the radio via Bluetooth. Please note that the radio only
takes Bluetooth input from devices such as a phone or tablet.
The device will display as “Majority Willingham”. Select the radio
from your device and they will begin to connect.
Select your chosen audio on your device and play.
Once connected, control the playing audio from your device
rather than with the radio’s navigation buttons.

AUX-In Mode
Press the Power/Mode button (Ref.) (do not hold the button)
or (Rem.6) to open the mode home screen. Select ‘AUX’ on the
main display screen by browsing with the navigation dial (Ref.)
and selecting the mode by pressing down the dial or use the
navigation buttons on the remote (Rem.2/3/4/5/15).
Plug an AUX cable into the chosen device and connect the
device to the radio via the AUX-in port (Ref.) at the back of the
radio.
Begin playing audio from your device and this will begin to
sound out of the radio when in AUX mode.
Once connected, control the playing audio from your device
rather than with the radio’s navigation buttons.

CD Player
Press the Power/Mode button (Ref.) (do not hold the button)
or (Rem.6) to open the mode home screen. Select ‘CD’ on the
main display screen by browsing with the navigation dial (Ref.)
and selecting the mode by pressing down the dial or use the
navigation buttons on the remote (Rem.2/3/4/5/15).
The display screen for the CD function will now show “CD Open”.
Insert your CD slightly and the drive will take the CD into the
system to play (Ref.). If it does not automatically do so, select
the Open/Close CD function on the radio (Ref.).
The rst song on the CD will now begin to play.
CD Functions
To skip between songs, press the ‘<<’ or ‘>>’ buttons on the radio
(Ref./13) or on the remote (Rem.10/20). Pause/Play using the
button on the radio (Ref.) or on the remote (Rem.19).
To skip rewind/forward through a song playing, hold down
the ‘<<’ or ‘>>’ buttons (Ref./13) on the unit or on the remote
(Rem.10/20) for 2-3 seconds and release when you wish to stop
skipping.
To eject the CD, press the Open/Close CD function on the radio
(Ref.) or on the remote (Rem.13)
To stop the album, press and hold down the navgation dial on
the unit (Ref.) for 3 seconds and release. This will also display
how many songs are on the album and total playing time. Press
‘Play/Pause’ to begin listening again (Ref.) (Rem.19).

Arrange a CD song program
This setting allows you to program the CD player to play songs in
a particular order.
1. A CD must be inserted into the CD player of the machine. To
open program settings, press and hold down the Navigation
dial for 3 seconds (Ref.7) or press and hold the OK button on the
remote (Rem.4) for 3 seconds to stop the CD. The full time of the
CD running time and number of tracks will display.
2. Follow by pressing and holding the ‘Repeat/Program’ button
on the radio (Ref.11) for 3 seconds to open program settings.
3. Once in program settings, the display will show P01 T01, with
the the rst song on the CD representing T01, and P01 being
program number 1. You can now choose what song you would
like as program number P01 by using the ‘<<’ and ‘>>’ buttons
(Rem.10/20) to scroll through to the song number you would
like to choose (T--). Once on the chosen track number (T--) for
P01, press down the navigation dial/OK button (Ref.7) (Rem.4)
to select and be taken to choose your next programmed song.
4. For the next song, the display will show P02 T-- to show the
program 2. Now use the ‘<<’ and ‘>>’ buttons (Rem.10/20) to
scroll through to the selected track number. Once on the chosen
track for program 2, press down the navigation dial/OK button
to select and continue programming as per step 3 and 4.
5. After you have nished program song selection, press the
‘Play/Pause’ button on the radio (Ref.10) to begin playing the
songs which have been programmed.
Press the “Stop” button to exit the “Program” when programming.

USB Playback
Press the Power/Mode button (Ref.) (do not hold the button)
or (Rem.6) to open the mode home screen. Select ‘USB’ on the
main display screen by browsing with the navigation dial (Ref.)
and selecting the mode by pressing down the dial or use the
navigation buttons on the remote (Rem.2/3/4/5/15).
Plug in a USB stick (Ref.), with les uploaded onto the stick,
into the USB port. Ensure that the le types on the device are
MP3 and WMA.
Highlight the desired folder/song with the Navigation dial
(Ref.) and select for your chosen song to play.
Please note that the USB port is for USB playback only. Audio cannot be
played by connecting a USB cable to a chosen audio product.

Dual Alarm Setting
Setting Alarm 1/Alarm 2
To set an alarm on your radio, select the ‘Alarm’ button (Ref.) on
the unit or on the remote control (Rem.9)
After selecting the alarm setting, select Alarm 1 or Alarm 2
with the navigation dial (Ref.) or navigation buttons on the
remote (Rem.2/3/4/5/15) to begin setting the following alarm
functions:
Alarm: Press the navgiation dial down to switch between
turning the alarm on and o.
Frequency: Select option to choose the regularity of the alarm
between Daily, Once, Weekends and Weekdays. Select the
chosen frequency by selecting with the navigation dial.
Wake Up Time: The hour digits of the alarm will now begin to
ash. Change the alarm hour with the navigation dial or Previous
and Next buttons (Ref./6). Once on the chosen alarm hour,
press down the navigation dial to conrm. Follow the same
process for setting the alarm minutes.
Source: Select between the following alarm wake-up tones:
Buzzer, Digital Radio and FM. If Digital Radio or FM are selected,
a new alarm setting option will display and allow you to choose
one of your preset stations, or the last station played on the
mode as your alarm tone.
Duration: Select the duration of the alarm tone between the
following options: 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes.
Volume: Use the navigation dial to select the alarm volume.

Setting: Alarm Features
How to cancel your alarm
Cancel the alarm before it sounds by pressing the Alarm button
(Ref.3) in standby mode or working mode.
Select the alarm that you would like to cancel: Alarm 1 or
Alarm 2 with the navigation dial (Ref.7). Navigate to the option
stating ‘Alarm’ and press down the navigation dial to switch
between “OFF” and “ON”. Ensure that the setting states “OFF” to
successfully cancel the alarm.
How to turn o your alarm when sounding
Turn o the alarm by pressing the Power/Mode button (Ref.)
when it is sounding.
The screen will then display “Alarm O”.
How to put your alarm on snooze
To put the alarm on snooze for 9 minutes, press down the
navigation dial (Ref.7), Sleep button (Ref.4) or Alarm button
(Ref.3). The snooze timer will then display at the bottom of the
screen.
If you would like to stop the snooze function, press down the
navigation dial, Sleep button, Alarm button or Power/Mode
button. The screen will then display “Alarm O”.

Sleep Timer Settings
A sleep timer can be set to switch your radio to standby after the
selected period of time.
To set a sleep timer, select the ‘Sleep’ button on the unit (Ref.)
or on the remote (Rem.8) to open the “Set Sleep Timer” screen.
Press the Sleep button repeatedly to switch between sleep
times available. There is an option between O, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90,
minutes.
Select the sleep timer length by either selecting with the
navigation dial OK button (Ref.), or leave the screen on your
selected option for 10 seconds to save automatically.
Once the sleep timer has been selected, the timer amount and a
sleep image will show on the bottom left of the radio screen.
To turn Sleep o, simply keep selecting the ‘Sleep’ button until
“Sleep Timer O” displays and select this option.

System Menu Settings
Access the menu settings by pressing and holding the Info/
Menu button for 2-3 seconds on any of the modes. Scroll with
the navigation dial (Ref.) to the “System Settings” option and
select with the dial. The following setting options will display:
Time/Date
Once this is selected, the following options will display for
setting:
Set Time/Date: The day date will now begin to ash. Change
the day with the navigation dial or Previous and Next buttons
(Ref./6). Once on the chosen digit, press down the navigation
dial to conrm. Follow the same process for setting the month
and year.
The time can now be set and the hour digits of the time will
begin to ash. Change the hour with the navigation dial or
Previous and Next buttons (Ref./6). Once on the chosen time
hour is displaying, press down the navigation dial to conrm.
Follow the same process for setting the time minutes.
Auto Update: An automatic set of the clock and date for
particular modes can be selected. Choose between: From Any,
from Digital Radio, from FM, or No Update.
Set 12/24 Hour: Decide between a 12 and 24 hour clock
display.
Set Date Format: Decide between two date formats for the
display: DD-MM-YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY.

Equaliser
Choose between a variety of equaliser settings that improve the
sound quality of the audio type/genre: Normal, Classic, Jazz, Pop,
Rock, Speech or My EQ. My EQ allows you to manually adjust
the bass and treble and tailor to your desired sound. Select the
chosen option with the navigation dial OK button (Ref.)
Backlight
Timeout:Select the option to choose the backlight display
timeout. The screen will darken after the period of time selected.
The timeout options are the following: On, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90,
120 and 180.
