Ensure that the radio has been charged and view the
battery life on the display when you turn it on. If the
battery icon shows all of the bars illuminated then the
system is fully charged.
To charge the device, use the USB cable provided and plug
it into a computer or a plug (not supplied) that accepts
USB connectors. Plug this into the radio USB charging port
(Ref.)
Also ensure that the earphones are connected (Ref.)
into the top of the system correctly as they are also the
antenna of your radio. Without them, no DAB/FM signal
will be received.
Turn the radio on by pressing the ‘ON/OFF’ button (Ref.)
on the side of the radio. “Welcome to Digital Radio” will
then show on the display.
The radio will then automatically begin scanning for
available DAB stations. The radio will display “Searching...”
and may take a few minutes to scan.
The signal bar will now display on the top right of the
radio screen. If there are no bars, there may be issues with
getting a good connection to stations.

Basic Operation

Press the ‘ON/OFF’ button (Ref.). On rst use, DAB radio
will automatically start scanning all stations and save
them.
To auto scan (if the unit has not automatically done so, or
shows no signal), ensure that the radio is in DAB mode by
using the ‘Mode/Key’ button (Ref.). Follow this by holding
the ‘Menu/Info’ button (Ref.) and the screen should then
display “DAB <FULL SCAN>”. Press ‘Select/Preset/Play/
Pause’ (Ref.) to conrm this.
The unit will then start scanning up the frequency band
and store all stations that have a good signal. Please note:
ensure that you are in an area with signal bars displaying.
The radio will automatically save all those stations that
have a strong signal. After searching has nished it will
automatically play the rst station stored.
To listen to any of the stations that have been stored, use
the ‘Next’ and ‘Prev’ buttons (Ref. 3/4) to navigate through
the stations. Press ‘Select/Preset’ to make your station
