Navigation Controls
ON/OFF button
To turn your radio on, press the ON/OFF button.
To turn your radio o and into standby press and hold the ON/
OFF button.
Navigation/Select dial
Use the navigation dial to scroll around the radio and browse
through your selections and stations available.
Press down the dial to select your chosen stations or make
settings.
Mode button
Switch between DAB/FM/Bluetooth/AUX In using the mode
button.
Info button
On DAB or FM mode, select repeatedly for station information
and radio setting options.
Also use the button to go back when creating settings and
alarms.
Scan/Pair
In DAB or FM mode, press this button to scan for available
stations.
In Bluetooth mode, press button to connect and disconnect your
Bluetooth device.

Basic Operation
Plug the connector into the back of the system labelled DC 5V
(Ref.) and the power supply into the mains.
Ensure the antenna (Ref.) is extended as far as possible so that
you can rotate it. This will enable you to get the best signal you
can.
Press the ‘On/O’ button to turn on the unit (Ref.). It will
automatically take you to DAB/DAB+ radio mode or to the
previous mode that you were using.
When DAB/DAB+ radio is activated for the rst time it will
automatically start scanning and storing all stations that have a
strong signal. If scanning does not automatically start, press the
‘Scan/Pair’ button (Ref.).
To change the mode, press the ‘Mode’ button (Ref.). This will
switch between DAB/DAB+ Radio, FM Radio, Bluetooth and Aux
in.
The display screen will dim automatically after 10 seconds if left
in standby or working mode.
Standby
To place the music system in standby, press and hold the ‘On/
O’ button (Ref.). To turn o fully, switch it o at the mains. The
cord must be out of reach of children.

DAB/DAB+ Radio
Press the ‘Mode’ button (Ref.) to switch to DAB/DAB+ Radio. In
DAB/DAB+ mode, the radio will synchronize with the time and
date of the station.
Ensure that the antenna is fully extended so that the best signal
is being received for the radio scan (Ref.).
On rst use, the radio on DAB mode will automatically scan all
stations and save them. If the radio has not automatically started
a scan, you can start an auto scan by pressing the ‘Scan/Pair’
button (Ref.) and then release. This will start scanning up the
frequency band and store all stations that have good signal.
The radio will automatically save all the stations with a strong
signal, up to 240 MHz. After searching has nished it will
automatically play the rst station stored.
To browse through all stations that have been stored, use the
‘Select’ dial (Ref.) to scroll through them. When on your chosen
station, press down the ‘Select’ dial (Ref.) to select the station to
begin playing.
The radio will display station information when you press the
‘Info’ button (Ref.). Press multiple times to view all information
available (See page 10).
When you turn the radio on again after it switching o, it will
automatically tune to the same station (DAB or FM) that was last
selected.

DAB/DAB+ Preset Stations
How to preset a radio station
Up to 10 DAB/DAB+ stations can be preset for easy navigation
and listening. To store a station that you are currently playing, it
is best to be listening to the station.
To preset your chosen station, press and hold the ‘Preset’ button
(Ref.) until “Preset Store <1: (Empty)” shows on the screen.
Now follow by scrolling with the Navigation/Select dial (Ref.)
until the number displays that you wish to save the station
preset number as. To select your choice, press down the dial.
The display will then show “Preset [x] Stored”.
Repeat the same process when making other preset stations. To
remove a station as a preset, simply save a new station over it.
How to play a preset radio station
Press the ‘Preset’ button (Ref.).
Use the Navigation/Select dial to scroll through your preset
stations (Ref.).
Once your chosen station displays that you wish to play, simply
press down the Navigation/Select dial to select it to play.
Your chosen preset station will then begin to play.

DAB/DAB+ Settings
In DAB mode, you can access settings by pressing and holding
the ‘Info’ button (Ref.). Browse through the setting options and
select an option with the Navigation/Select dial (Ref.):
Full Scan - Select this option to begin a full scan. Alternatively,
press the ‘Scan/Pair’ button for this function.
Manual Tune - Select this option to manually scroll through the
stations by channel and frequency.
DRC - This function enables you to reduce the dierence
between the maximum and minimum audio volume being
broadcast. This makes quiet sounds comparatively louder,
and loud sounds comparatively quieter. DRC only works if it is
enabled by the broadcaster for a specic station.
When you select this option, you can use the Navigation/Select
dial (Ref.) to browse between setting OFF, High or Low. Select
your choice by pressing down the dial.
Prune - Select this function to remove stations that are listed
but are unavailable. Once this option is selected, the radio will
require you to select Yes or No - select Yes for prune settings to
be applied.
System - Select this option to enter radio settings. You can adjust
settings such as time, backlight, language, factory reset, SW
version (Software). For guidance on these settings, please refer
to the Settings instructions on page 18.

DAB/DAB+ Station Information
When on a DAB station with signal, you are able to nd out
station information available. Press the ‘Info’ button (Ref.)
repeatedly to show the programme information (do not hold).
Signal Strength Bar: Displays a signal bar with the strength of
the current station
PTY (Programme Type): Shows the type and description of the
programme provided by the DAB station.
Channel number and Frequency: Displays the station’s
transmission channel number and frequency
Bit Rate: The data range which the signal is being transmitted
Bit Error Rate: Provides details of the signal error rate.
Time and Date: Displays the time and date information provided
by the broadcaster.
Dynamic Label Segment (DLS): Displays scrolling text
information supplied by the broadcaster

FM Radio
FM Scan
Press the ‘Mode’ button (Ref.) to switch to between DAB, FM,
Bluetooth and AUX-in. The rst time you do this, FM frequency
“87.50MHz” will be displayed on the screen.
Ensure that the antenna is fully extended so that the best signal
is being received for the radio scan (Ref.).
To auto scan up the bandwidth, press and release the ‘Scan/Pair’
button (Ref.). This will start scanning up the frequency band
and play the rst station it nds with a strong signal.
To autoscan down the frequency band, press and hold the ‘Scan/
Pair’ button (Ref.) for a few seconds.
The radio will display station information when you press the
‘Info’ button (Ref.). Press multiple times to view all information
available (See page 14).
When you turn the radio on again after it switching o, it will
automatically tune to the same station (DAB or FM) that was last
selected.
How to tune a frequency manually
To listen to a specic frequency, you can manually scroll up and
down the bandwidth using the Navigation/Select dial until on
your chosen station.

FM Radio Preset Stations

FM Radio Settings
In FM mode, you can access FM settings by pressing and holding
the ‘Info’ button (Ref.). Browse through the setting options and
select a settings option with the Navigation/Select dial (Ref.):
Scan Setting
Select this option to choose between scanning strong and weak
signals (All) or only the strong stations (Strong Only). Press the
‘Select’ dial (Ref.) to conrm your choice.
Audio Setting
Select this option to choose between stereo or mono on FM
mode. Use the Navigation/Select dial to scroll between Stereo
Allowed or Forced Mono and press the ‘Select’ dial (Ref.) to
conrm your choice.
System
Select this option to enter radio settings. You can adjust settings
such as time, backlight, language, factory reset, SW version
(Software). For guidance on these settings, please refer to the
Settings instructions on page 18.

FM Station Information
When on a FM station with signal, you are able to nd out station
information available. Press the ‘Info’ button (Ref.) repeatedly to
show the programme information.

Bluetooth and AUX-in
Bluetooth
Press the ‘Mode’ button (Ref.) to switch to between DAB, FM,
Bluetooth and AUX-in until Bluetooth mode is displayed.
Once on Bluetooth mode, go to your settings on your phone/
tablet that you wish to connect to the Majority Fulbourn II.
Select the ‘Fulbourn II’ to begin connecting via Bluetooth.
Once connected, the radio’s display screen will show “BT
Connected”. You can now begin to enjoy music and media from
your Bluetooth device.
Use the ‘Play/Pause/Enter/Snooze’ button (Ref.) to pause and
play the Bluetooth’s device media.
To disconnect the Bluetooth device from the Fulbourn II, simply
press the ‘Scan/Pair’ button (Ref.)
AUX-in
Press the ‘Mode’ button (Ref.) to switch to between DAB, FM,
Bluetooth and AUX-in until AUX-in mode is displayed.
Connect an AUX cable into the AUX-in port at the back of the
radio (Ref.) and connect to your chosen device.
Begin playing media and controlling media from your chosen
device. Ensure that the volume is switched up on your device.

Dual Alarm Settings
Press the ‘Alarm’ button (Ref.) once for Alarm 1 or twice
for Alarm 2. Press down the ‘Navigation/Select’ dial (Ref.) to
conrm the alarm number you would like to set.
To turn the alarm on or o, use the ‘Select’ dial (Ref.) so that
“ON” is ashing and press down the ‘Select’ dial to conrm.
The hour digits for the alarm will ash. Use the ‘Select’ dial (Ref.)
to change the hour and press down the ‘Select’ dial to conrm
the hour for the alarm to sound. Repeat the same process for the
minutes.
Now choose the regularity of the alarm with the ‘Select’ dial
(Ref.) between: Weekdays, Weekends, Once, Daily. Select your
option by pressing down the dial.
Use the ‘Select’ dial (Ref.) to change between which sound you
would like: Beeper, DAB or FM Radio. Press down the ‘Select’ dial
to conrm.
Use the ‘Select’ dial (Ref.) to change the volume and press
down the dial to conrm alarm volume.
The alarm is now set and will display as an icon.
Cancel your alarm
Press the ‘Alarm’ button (Ref.) once for Alarm 1 or twice
for Alarm 2. Press down the ‘Navigation/Select’ dial (Ref.) to
conrm the alarm number you would like to cancel.
To turn the alarm on or o, use the ‘Select’ dial (Ref.) so that
“OFF” is ashing and press down the ‘Select’ dial to conrm.

Alarm Functions and Sleep Timer
Snoozing or turning o your alarm when sounding
When your alarm sounds, press the ‘Snooze/Mute’ button (Ref.)
to put the radio into snooze mode for 9 minutes. The radio will
go into standby and will sound again in 9 minutes.
To turn o your alarm when it is sounding, press the ‘On/O’
button (Ref.) to put the radio into standby mode.
Sleep Timer
This enables you to programme the radio to switch o and go
to standby mode. The sleep timer enables you to programme
the radio to switch o at a specic time, up to 120 minutes from
activation.
To set the timer, press the ‘Sleep’ button (Ref.).
With the ‘Navigation/Select’ dial (Ref.), browse between the
following sleep timer lengths: O/15/30/45/60 or 90 minutes.
When your option displayed, select it by pressing down the dial.
To turn the sleep timer o, follow the above instructions but
select the “OFF” option.
Once the timer has been set, the minutes will countdown on
the display screen. For example, if set to turn o in 5 minutes,
“S5” will ash, counting down to “S0” when the radio will go into
standby mode.

Radio Settings
When on any mode, access the radio settings by pressing and
holding down the ‘Info’ button (Ref.). Scroll through to the
‘System’ option and select with the Navigation/Select dial (Ref.)
to browse through the following settings options:
Time/Date
On rst use of the DAB radio, the time and date will
automatically set. If you wish to manually set the time and date,
select this option. The below options will then display:
Set Time/Date: Set the time rst, followed by the date. Use the
Navigation/Select dial (Ref.) to scroll up and down the date
and time and press down the Navigation/Select dial (Ref.) to
conrm after each setting made. Once complete it will display
“Time/Date Saved”
Auto update: If DAB mode not yet scanned, you can do an
automatic set of the clock and date.
Set 12/24 hour: Decide between a 12 hour or 24 hour clock.
Set Date format: Browse between a variety of date formats: DD-
MM-YY and MM-DD-YY.
Backlight: Set Backlight and Brightness
Timeout - Use the Navigation/Select dial (Ref.) to scroll up and
down to decide how long you would like the radio’s backlight to
display before going to a lower dimmer setting. Decide between
the following lengths of time: On, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, or

180 seconds and conrm your selection by pressing down the
‘Select’ dial (Ref.)
On Level (Brightness) - Select this option to choose the
backlight brightness level. Use the Navigation/Select dial (Ref.)
to scroll and select one of the following options: High, Medium
Low or OFF.
DIM Level (Brightness) - Select this option to choose the
backlight brightness level. Use the Navigation/Select dial (Ref.)
to scroll and select one of the following options: High, Medium
Low or OFF.
Language
Choose your chosen language by scrolling with the Navigation/
Select dial (Ref.). Choose between English, French, German or
Italian and press the ‘Select’ dial (Ref.) to conrm your choice.
Factory Reset
When you are on settings for the radio, select the option for
Factory Reset. This would be advisable if your radio is having
functional issues or if you would like to erase all settings.
The radio will then display: “Factory Reset?” with the options of
“Yes” or “No”. Use the Navigation/Select dial (Ref.) to scroll to
your chosen option and click down the the Navigation/Select
dial (Ref.) to conrm.
SW Version (Software)
Select the option of “SW version” with the Navigation/Select dial
(Ref.) to view the software version of the radio.

Additional Features
Dual USB Charging ports
Both USB ports (Ref.) have a charging output of 5V/2A. When
connected via a USB lead into the USB port, a phone or tablet
can be charged.
Please note: You cannot play your music via the USB
connection, it is only for charging a phone or tablet.
Headphone Jack
Insert the 3.5mm headphone jack of your earphones into the
headphone jack of the radio (Ref.) to begin listening to your
media through your favourite earphones.
Please note: Bluetooth earphones are not compatible with this
device.
