With the magnetic mount connected to the magnetic point of the antenna box, it is now time to connect the antenna to the car window screen. Correct installation is important to ensure that you receive good DAB radio reception.
Before installing the antenna to the car, ensure that the antenna and radio are going to be tted well and without obstructing and interfering with airbags, controls or mirrors in the vehicle.
We recommend installing your antenna on the opposite side of the car to the drivers side of the car, tted at the top of the window screen. This is to ensure that you avoid obstructing the drivers view as well as extending the antenna as much as possible for a better signal to be received.
You can now t your antenna by removing the antenna from the plastic back packaging. Now stick the antenna and box to the window screen. The antenna and magnetic ground should all lay
at and neatly within the top corner of the window screen.
Step 2: Installing the antenna
Installaon
Installing the Car DAB/DAB+ Radio Adapter
Please note all (Ref.) refer to the Controls and Functions mapping guide on pages 2-5.
Step 1: Installing the magnetic ground
Before installing the main antenna, the magnetic ground will need to be installed. To do this, the magnetic end of the ground will need to become connected to a magnetic part of the car. Slide this magnetic part facing upwards between the roof lining and the car roof at the top of the window screen for the best results.
The magnetic spade part of the magnetic ground should now hang from the top of the car window screen ready for the next step.
Now connect the magnetic spade to the metallic point at the top of the antenna box. Do this by ensuring that the plastic of the magnetic spade entirely overlaps the metallic point of the antenna.

Step 4: Connect the car radio adapter to power
Step 3: Connect the antenna to the car radio
Now that the antenna is xed to the car window screen, the antenna cable can be tted to the car DAB/DAB+ radio adapter.
Firstly, ensure that the antenna cable from the window screen is not twisted or bundled to ensure that the best signal can be transmitted. Use the supplied cable ties to shorten the antenna cable if needed.
Connect the antenna to the radio via the antenna port at the back of the radio adapter (Ref.) Simply connect to the screw and twist the adapter gold screw until it is securely connected to the radio adapter.
The antenna will now be set up with your car radio and ready for the next steps.

Step 4: Connect the car radio adapter to power
Connect the cigarette power cable USB port into the back of the car radio adapter (Ref.) and plug the other end of the cable into the cigarette lighter in the car.
The car radio adapter will now begin to light up and will display ‘Welcome to Digital Radio’.
The radio adapter will begin searching for all local DAB/DAB+ radio stations and the screen will show the progress bar and the number of the radio stations received when scanning.
Once the scan is complete, the car radio adapter will begin playing the rst station. At this point, it will show on the radio adapter display screen but will not sound through the car as this
has not yet been set up.

Step 5 continued: Vent mount tting
First, detach the mounting board from the windowscreen mount by undoing the locking lever (MG.2) until it comes loose from the mount. This should then allow you to pull the mount suction part away from the mounting board from the roller ball connection.
The mounting board will now be separated from the mount and ready to connect to the venting mount.
To secure the mounting board and venting mount, simply push the roller ball part of the vent mount into the connection on the mounting board.
Now connect the mounting board mount to the DAB adapter. On the mounting board of the mount, line up the back of the car radio adapter clips to the clips of the mounting board.
Now slide the car radio adapter clips up into the clips of the mounting board. Once they are connected, there will be a click and bound securely to each other.
Now the mount and DAB adapter are connected, you can insert the clips of the mount around the car vent to connect and begin using your adapter.
Step 5: Connecting to your chosen mount
Connect the car radio adapter to either the window screen mount or the car vent mount:
Please note that (Ref.) refers to the radio adapter on page 3 and (MG.x) the window mount diagram on page 2.
Window Screen Mount
On the mounting board of the window screen mount, line up the back of the car radio adapter (Ref.) to the clips of the window screen mounting board (MG.5)
Now slide the car radio adapter clips up into the clips of the window screen mounting board. Once they are connected, there will be a click and bound securely to each other.
To remove the car radio adapter from the mount, simply hold the radio adapter and pull it down from the window screen mount to remove it.
To connect the mount and car adapter to the window screen, choose the desired spot on your window screen and hold it in place. The mount has a ball tting to allow you to adjust the angle of the radio adapter once locked to the window screen.
Now pull down the locking lever (MG.2) on the mount to ensure the mount suctions and locks to the window screen.
Releasing the mount
To remove the mount from the window screen, pull the locking lever up (MG.2) from the mount to unlock it. To remove it, lift the suction tab (MG.3) from the window to stop its suction to the window.

Try to investigate if the problem is the power source or the adapter. Ensure that the power adapter is plugged in properly to your car and in the charging port.
The adapter will only work when it is plugged into a power source, it does not have an internal battery. You will therefore need to set the radio up in your car.
installed to your car and to a ferrous material. This magnetic tting should then be properly connected to the antenna. Connect the adapter to your car by FM transmission or AUX-in.
Check that there is not a plastic lm on the suction pad - if there is, please remove it.
If possible, please clean the area you are placing it on to. The suction pad may also need to be dampened before placing on the window screen and then secure with the locking lever.
For the vent mount, ensure that the clasps of the mount are secure around the vent grill.
Ensure the antenna is installed correctly, and have the antenna as stretched as possible to ensure you are receiving the best signal.
