Windows 7 Recommended Power Options Settings
Go to Control Panel – type Power Options then edit the settings as noted below. Failure to set the
power options may cause the USB devices to fail to respond. Note: If the Power Options settings
are managed through a Global script, please adjust the script to support the settings noted below
Example of changing a Balanced Power Option setup
Recommended Power Option setting is Maximum Performance
Set the Hard disk – Turn off hard disk after setting , set to NEVER
Wireless Adapter Settings, Power Saving mode, set to Maximum Performance

Sleep After setting, set to NEVER
Allow hybrid sleep set to OFF
Hibernate after, set to NEVER
Allow wake timers, set to DISABE
