INSTALLATION
Position the receiver in the room where direct light does not strike the screen.
Total darkness or a reflection on the picture screen can cause eyestrain.
Soft and indirect lighting is recommended for comfortable viewing.
Allow enough space between the receiver and the wall to permit ventilation.
Avoid excessively warm locations to prevent possible damage to the cabinet or
premature component failure.
This TV receiver can be connected to an AC power outlet of 120V and 60Hz.
Never connect to DC supply or any other power supply.
Do not install the receiver in a location near heat sources such as a radiator, air
ducts or direct sunlight.
Do not cover the ventilation openings when using this television.
CAUTION
Never tamper with any components inside your television, or any o th er
adjustment controls not mentioned in this manual. All television receivers are
high voltage instruments. Please avoid any unnecessary stra in t o yo ur
television, such as: scratching, chipping, or resting heavy o bj ec ts o n th e
cabinet top. Scratching, tipping or undue pressure is dangero us a nd s ho ul d be
avoided. This unit should never be cl ea ne d wh il e pl ug ge d into a power
receptacle. To clean the unit, first unplug the power cord from the power
receptacle, then wipe down the PICTURE TU BE FA CE a nd C AB INET with a soft
damp cloth and a mild cleaning solution. Make sure to completely dr y off the unit
before plugging it back into a power receptacle. During thunder and l ig ht ni ng ,
unplug the power cord and antenna cord to prevent your TV s et from damage.
All “inside work” on your television should be performed by a qualifi ed s er vi ce
technician.

this television receiver. Do not remove the
cabinet from your set. Refer servicing to a
qualifed service technician.
To prevent fire or electrical shock hazards,do
not expose the television receiver to rain or
moisture.
Do not drop or press objects into the television
cabinet slots or openings. Never spill any kind
of liquid on the television receiver.

Do not stand the television receiver directly
on other objects which give off heat. Eg. video
cassette players, DVD players, and audio
amplifiers.
Do not block the ventilation holes in the back
cover.Ventilation is essential to prevent failure of
electrical components.
Do not pinch the power supply cord under the
Television receiver.
