Remote Security and Keyless Entry Operation
Congratulations!
On your purchase of our Unique Remote Auto Starter with Keyless Entry and Security System. Please read the enclosed operating instructions to insure you enjoy the numerous benefits available to you.
As with any product that performs automatic functions, there are certain safety precautions that you must practice and be aware of.
1. Keep the transmitter[s] out of children’s reach.
2. Do not leave anyone in the vehicle while running on remote control.
3. Alert servicing personnel that the vehicle can be started automatically.
4. Do not start the vehicle by remote while it’s in an enclosed area or garage.
5. Always apply the parking brake and lock the vehicle as you exit the vehicle.
6. Should the unit malfunction, disconnect the fuse until the problem is corrected.
7. The use and operations of this system is the sole responsibility of the operator.
8. This system is designed for a fuel-injected vehicle with an automatic transmission.
9. This system must be installed and wired through a safety switch so it will not start in any forward or reverse gear.
10. This system shall never be installed on a vehicle with a manual transmission.
11. Some areas may have local ordinances that prohibit leaving a vehicle running on public streets.
• The system has an operating range of up to approximately 1,000 ft.
• Two 4-button code hopping transmitters are included for your convenience.
• Keep the transmitters dry. Do not submerge them in water.
• Loss or abuse to the transmitters or to its case is not warranted.
• Under normal use, the batteries will last about one year. [Uses A23 type]
To Arm the Alarm and Lock the Doors:
• Exit the vehicle and depress the “LOCK” button on the transmitter once.
• The siren/horn will chirp once, parking lights will flash once, the doors will “LOCK” and the LED will begin flashing.
• The alarm is now armed.
• If your security system becomes triggered, the parking lights will flash and the alarm will sound for 60 seconds and reset. If a door is left open, the system will sound for two more 60-second cycles. The alarm will fully rearm and then ignore the door trigger zone. Closing the door will re-set the door trigger zone.
Note: If the dome light is on at the time, you arm the alarm you will hear another short chirp about [4] seconds later to indicate a protected zone is being violated. This is very common on vehicles with factory delayed interior lights. The alarm will arm the door trigger zone after the interior lights go off. If your vehicle is equipped with an optional shock sensor, you may experience the above symptoms depending on how sensitive the sensor is set and how hard the door was closed. The alarm will arm the shock sensor once the zone is cleared.

Valet Mode and Emergency Disarm Procedure
Remote Security and Keyless Entry Operation (Continued)
To Disarm the Alarm and Unlock the Doors:
• Depress the “UNLOCK” button on the transmitter once.
• The interior lights will turn “ON”, siren/horn will chirp twice, parking lights will flash twice, the doors will “UNLOCK” and LED will stop flashing.
The interior lights will turn “ON” for 30 seconds or until the ignition key is turned “ON”. If you have the drivers door “UNLOCK” first option, depress the “UNLOCK” button two times to “UNLOCK” the other doors. The interior light activation and/or arming/disarming chirps can be programmed off permanently, if desired.
User Discretion Silent Arming and Disarming:
This feature allows you to retain the normal arm/disarm chirps and allows you to arm/disarm silently.
• To arm or disarm without chirps, depress both the “LOCK” and “UNLOCK” buttons at the same time.
Remote Trunk/Rear Hatch Release:
• Depress and hold the “UNLOCK” button for 3 seconds.
• The alarm will disarm and the trunk/rear hatch will open.
Note: This is a separate extra cost option and the vehicle must have an electric trunk release to have this feature.
Remote Personal Panic Feature:
When panic is activated, the parking lights flash and the siren/horn sounds.
To Activate: Depress the “PANIC” or “LOCK” button for [3] seconds or more. To Deactivate: Depress the “PANIC” button again or depress the “UNLOCK” button.
Note:
The siren/horn will sound and the lights will flash for [1] minute and reset, if you do not turn “OFF”
panic.
To Lock The Vehicle Without Arming Our Security System:
• Simply “LOCK” the doors using the factory power door lock switch as you exit.
• To use our remote to “UNLOCK” the doors later, depress the “UNLOCK” button.
To Turn the Security Features Off [Valet Mode] or to Disarm the Alarm Without Using the Remote Transmitter [Emergency Disarm]:
• Turn “ON” the ignition key.
• The system begins looking for program switch input data for 30 seconds.
• Depress and hold in the program switch until the LED illuminates. [2 seconds]
• Once the LED illuminates it indicates that the alarm is now in valet mode.
• Turn “OFF” the ignition key. The LED begins flashing once every 5 seconds.
• When the ignition key is “ON”, the LED will be on steady to remind you that the alarm is in valet mode.
• While in valet mode the remote starter and remote keyless entry features will operate normally including the “LOCK/UNLOCK” parking light flash confirmation. However, there is no security protection and no brake pedal depressed door locking or ignition controlled unlocking.
• The emergency disarm procedure is the same procedure as the valet mode. However, please note that the alarm will begin sounding [if armed] immediately when you open the door. Enter the vehicle [with alarm sounding], turn on the ignition, depress and hold the program switch in until the alarm stops sounding [for approximately 2 seconds]. The alarm will remain in valet mode until you turn the security features back “ON”.

3. LED is flashing fast = Automatic arming timer is counting down.
4. LED is on solid with ignition key turned “ON” = Security system is in valet mode.
5. LED is flashing once every 5 seconds when ignition key is “OFF” = System is in valet mode.
