• The remote starter system is interfaced with your factory remote transmitters.
• The range of your factory remotes will determine how far away you can start and turn off your vehicle.
To Remote Start the Vehicle:
• The “LOCK” button on the transmitter starts and turns off the engine.
• Depress the remote transmitter “LOCK” button 3 times within 3 seconds.
• The parking lights will activate to indicate the remote start received the signal.
• The ignition circuits will activate and the engine will start approximately [5] seconds later.
• Once the engine is running on remote control, the climate controls will activate and adjust the vehicles
interior temperature to your preset settings.
• The vehicle will run for the 14 or 21 minute cycle and automatically turn “off”.
To Turn Off the Remote Starter:
• Once you have activated the remote starter, depressing the “LOCK” button again 3 times within 3
seconds will turn it “off”.
To Operate The Vehicle While Running on the Remote Starter:
• Depress the remote transmitter “UNLOCK” button to unlock the doors.
• Insert and turn “on” the ignition key [two positions] and drive off.
• When you depress the brake pedal, the remote starter will turn “off”. Therefore, if you accidentally
depress the brake pedal before you turn “on” the ignition key, the remote starter will turn “off” and the
engine will die. If this happens, simply restart the engine with the ignition key and drive off.
Temporary Stop Feature:
This feature allows you to exit and leave the vehicle running on remote control.
Note: This feature may not be operable on your vehicle due to limitations and operation of the factory
remote transmitter.
