Headphone Operations Manual
Model: HP-400
1. Volume Dial: Rotate to increase and decrease the
volume level.
2. Power Button: Slide this button to turn the
headphone ON/OFF.
3. Battery Compartment: Slide cover open to access
the batteries.
4. Adjuster Bar: Slide this bar up/down to adjust the
headphone fit.
Installing the Batteries:
To install the “AAA” batteries supplied, follow this
procedure:
A. Hold the headphones in one hand and place
your thumb onto the gripping arrow on the
battery holder cover.
B. Press down on the gripping arrow while sliding
the door away from the headphones to expose
the battery compartment.
C. While observing the battery polarity, place the
batteries into their compartment.
Headphone Care and Adjustment
The correct operation, care and maintenance of the
headphones is critical to their ability to provide the
user with a lifetime of operation. Misuse, abuse and
neglect of the headphones will result in poor
performance and premature failure.
WARNING!
• Do not throw the headphones.
• Do not get the headphones wet or submerge
them in any liquid.
• Do not lay heavy objects on the headphones.
• Refrain from turning the volume of the
headphones to the maximum position, this may
result in hearing loss.
Storing the Headphones
When the headphones are not in use, fold them as
illustrated below, and store them in the provided bag.
Headphone Operations
Adjust the Headphones to Fit Your Head
A. Spread the ear pads apart and place the
headphones on your head. Observe the “L”
and “R” indicators.
B. Slide the adjuster bar up or down until a
comfortable fit is achieved.
Turn Off the Headphones When Not in Use:
A. Slide the "ON/OFF" button to the "OFF" position.
The “POWER” LED will turn off.
B. The batteries will last for approximately 10
hours of continuous use. Forgetting to turn off
the headphones when they are not in use will
shorten the battery life.
Turn On the Headphones:
To turn on the headphones slide the "ON / OFF"
button to the "ON" position. The “POWER” LED
will light up. The headphone(s) will automatically
receive the signal from the MovieVision player.
Adjusting the Volume:
Turn the "VOLUME" dial to the left to increase
volume level, and turn the dial to the right to
decrease the volume level.

Auto Mute: When the infrared (IR) signal is
interrupted, the sound from the headphones will
mute until the IR signal returns.
Auto Shutoff: The headphone power will be shut off
if the IR signal is lost or has been turned off for
more than 3 minutes. Set the “POWER” switch to
"OFF" and back to "ON" again to turn on the
headphones again.
