Silencer® automotive security products were developed through years of research and
development to provide the consumer with a product that is not only technologically advanced
but is easy to use and understand on a day to day basis.
The information enclosed will provide a ready reference of the operation and maintenance of
your new Silencer
®
security system. Follow the testing procedures as stated in this manual to
test and operate features and functions on the Silencer®models 5900P, 6900P and 6905P
security systems.

Your vehicle is equipped with one of two Silencer
passive arming starter interrupt systems. If
your vehicle has a “factory installed” remote keyless entry system (RKE), your Silencer
model number will be 6905P. All vehicles without remote keyless entry use the Silencer® model
5900P or 6900P. All units operate virtually the same but there are some differences with the
6905P.
Basic Operation: (All Systems)
This section details the simple day to day simple operations of your Silencer®security
system. There are no special exiting procedures you must perform. Just exit the vehicle as
usual. The passive arming starter interrupt system will automatically arm silently 30 seconds
after you turn off the ignition. The LED will start flashing indicating the system is armed.
When you return to your vehicle, simply insert your Silencer
remove it. You have 30 seconds to start the engine. Each time you insert and remove the
Silencer®key you have 30 seconds to start the engine. If you leave the Silencer®key in the
receptacle the system will not arm.
Special Information for 6905P Users:
Arming the System: In addition to basic automatic arming, your keyless entry remote
controller will also arm and disarm your Silencer
®
factory transmitter, press the “Lock” button on the transmitter. When the doors become
locked, your Silencer®system will become armed. The LED will begin flashing indicating
that the system is armed.
Disarming the System: When you return to the vehicle, simply press the “Unlock” button
on your factory remote transmitter or insert your Silencer
remove it. You know have 30 seconds to start the engine of your vehicle.

Optional Beeping Horn System Status and Warning: (When Installed) (All Models)
When the beeping horn option is installed, every time the unit becomes armed the horn will
beep one time. When you disarm the system by inserting the Silencer
®
key into the
receptacle or pressing the “unlock” button on your keyless entry transmitter, the horn will
beep 2 times indicating a disarmed condition.
If you forget to disarm your Silencer
®
system, the horn will begin to sound when you try to
start your vehicle. Turn off the ignition key and either press the “Unlock” button on your
keyless entry transmitter or insert your Silencer®key into the receptacle and remove it. You
can now start your vehicle.
